"1st: Martial Law is declared by President Lincoln on April 24th, 1863, with General Orders No. 100; under martial law authority, Congress and President Lincoln institute continuous martial law by ordering the states (people) either conscribe troops and or provide money in support of the North or be recognized as enemies of the nation; this martial law Act of Congress is still in effect today. This martial law authority gives the President (with or without Congress) the dictatorial authority to do anything that can be done by government in accord with the Constitution of the United States of America. This conscription act remains in effect to this very day and is the foundation of Presidential Executive Orders authority; it was magnified in 1917 with The Trading with the Enemy Act (Public Law 65-91, 65th Congress, Session I, Chapters 105, 106, October 6, 1917). and again in 1933 with the Emergency War Powers Act, which is ratified and enhanced almost every year to this date by Congress. Today these Acts address the people of the United States themselves as their enemy." 2nd through 15th HERE.
"Word is that curious George Gillett the Phoenix ASAC stepped on it again. Allegedly he has approved more than 500 AR-15 type rifles from Tucson and Phoenix cases to be “walked” to Mexico. Appears that ATF may be one of the largest suppliers of assault rifles to the Mexican cartels! One of these rifles is rumored to have been linked to the recent killing of a Border Patrol Officer in Nogales, AZ."
"Jefferson Davis was born June 3 in Kentucky. The year amazingly enough is not precisely known. Davis would plead, with a faint sparkle of wit, “I am not a competent witness in the case.” 1808 has been officially accepted and therefore it was last year that Mrs. Grundy followed the Jefferson Davis celebrations during the 200th anniversary of his birth in “her” column in The Andalusia Star-News. This is for you Mrs. Grundy.

"A race-obsessed Left will obviously want to make the war entirely about slavery because no one would want to identify with such an odious notion as a nation based on chattel slavery. Dionne wrote not to spin the cause of the war and yet manages to spin on his own anyway, conveniently forgetting a codicil in the U.S. Constitution about a slave being three-fifths of a person (which Northerners demanded in the Constitutional Convention and got), about a nation created on July 4, 1776 where slavery existed up and down the coastline (or as Samuel Johnson would put it “this revolution of slave holders”) where the military leader of the revolution and best theoretician were also slaver owners and where the “liberator” himself, Abraham Lincoln, once said if he could save the Union without freeing a slave he would do so"

League of the South Statement to members
Compatriots: The League of the South has uncovered within our ranks a member with disturbing ties to The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). His name is Willis Cox, otherwise known as Bill "Deacon" Cox, of Pike Road, Alabama (near Montgomery). Doubtless, many of you know Bill; some know him quite well. Or at least we thought we knew Bill.
Here is what our investigation turned up over the past couple of years: 1) one of our members has in his possession a photocopy of Bill Cox's marriage certificate to one Laurie Wood; 2) Ms. Wood is an Analyst at the SPLC and an Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center; 3) Ms. Wood is also listed as a member of the Countering Violent Extremism Working Group, which is run by the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council (for their website, see
4) Mr. Cox and Ms. Wood are now living in the home of one Rhonda Brownstein, former legal director of the SPLC.
I spoke to Mr. Cox by phone last week and he admitted to his marriage to Laurie Wood. He also admitted to keeping this fact a secret from the League of the South and other groups with which he associated.
We are not aware that Bill Cox did anything illegal while attending our events; however, the evidence is overwhelming that he misrepresented himself to us as a Southern Patriot while the facts above suggest that he is anything but. We also are not aware that Mr. Cox was a paid informant for the SPLC or of any one else; however, his close connections to Ms. Wood and Ms. Brownstein (and perhaps other SPLC employees) raise suspicions that he likely attended our events for the purpose of gathering information about the ideas and activities of The League of the South and other organizations to which he belonged and in which he actively participated (including at least one and possible several Southern motorcycle clubs).
It is our considered opinion that Bill Cox has acted immorally and dishonestly. His membership in The League of the South is hereby revoked.
On behalf of the League of the South Board of Directors,
