The comedian Rich Hall, who himself hails from that region (Charlotte, North Carolina), aims to overturn the Hollywood stereotype of the South as one gigantic Ku Klux Klan rally in his new documentary, Rich Hall’s the Dirty South, which goes out on BBC Four on Monday.'
