Confederate flag, 'Geronimo' are not big problems

View Image

Why would a Harvard professor by the name of Charles Olgetree Jr. concern himself with a Confederate flag on private property in front of the Caddo Courthouse? Why would the ACLU and the NAACP also be stirring up controversy in Shreveport? I, for one, do not have an answer to those questions.

Now I can surmise that Mr. Ogletree has nothing better to do at Harvard. Perhaps he is in charge of the Revisionist History Department. If so, he would want to completely change the history of the Civil War and wipe out 1860-64 completely.

I would suppose that everyone knows what "revisionist history" means. No? Well, a person who is not satisfied with the way history played out wants to change it to suit himself. This is what is happening with the Confederate flag. Mr. Ogletree wants to remove this flag from history.

  1. The reason I decided not to go back to collage in 01 was a "history" professor told me when I disagreed with his statement that the civil war was ONLY about freeing slaves that "I would never pass his class." Seemed stupid to pay money to be lied to so that was that.

Maybe being a reenactor helped see through the bullshit. Some things never change though, as he was next town over this past summer slinging the same old BS and being politely applauded for it.

    Meh.
