Modern war





In Iraq, NATO forces are in 26 countries, but most troops from Britain and the United States.

• At times, the number of NATO military bloc in Iraq reached 46,000 people.

• According to media reports, during combat operations in Iraq, the number of civilian casualties totaled about 900,000.

• 210 journalists were killed, 15 missing since March 2003.

• Interestingly, the survey showed the Iraqis in 2000: 43 percent believe that pre-invasion life was better, 36 percent said they were worse and 22 percent thought that about the same.

• During the 3904 war in Iraq, NATO troops killed and 28,773 seriously injured.
