"As pressure mounts on the White House to intervene to stop Moammar Gadhafi's bloody crackdown in Libya, many commentators have been wondering why Barack Obama has been cautious in his criticism of the dictator after the U.S. president so fervently supported the removal from office of U.S. ally Hosni Mubarak of Egypt.
But Gadhafi has been tied to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's spiritual adviser for more than 23 years.
The Libyan dictator also has financed and strongly supported the Nation of Islam and its leader, Louis Farrakhan. Obama has ties to Farrakhan and his controversial group."
"The Port Washington-Saukville School District will dock the pay of 82 teachers who skipped school last Thursday to protest Gov. Scott Walker’s budget bill in Madison, Supt. Michael Weber said Tuesday."
"A significant showing by the FreeFor in ATL today, who put approximately 150 Tea Party, 9/12, and RTC folks up against the 500 or so SEIU and other union thugs at the State Capitol, with no violent incidents, injuries, or arrests."

Writing in the Washington Post, Lincoln cultist Harold Holzer (bosom buddy of Hillary Clinton and co-author of Mario Cuomo) “defends” Lincoln against scholarship that shows that he was probably gay or bisexual by writing that Abe was “a regular customer in prairie brothels.” I wonder what all those ministers who love quoting Lincoln and holding him up as a moral role model in church on Sundays will think of this!
“Defending” Lincoln against “charges” that he was too compassionate(!), Holzer points out that Abe reveled in ordering conscript/deserters to be shot; boasts that he ordered the “largest mass execution in American History” when 38 Santee Sioux Indians were hanged after each was given a five-minute military “trial”; and, after all, he waged “the bloodiest war in American history.”
Patriot and other groups with anti-government views showed the most growth last year among extremist organizations in Alabama and the nation, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center's annual Year in Hate report.
The report looks at three categories of extremist groups -- hate groups, anti government Patriot groups, and nativist extremist groups that often confront undocumented workers or the people who hire them.

Potential 2012 GOP Candidate Rick Santorum Rips the Left For Distorting The Crusades In Favor Of Islam
Rick Santorum launched into a scathing attack on the left, charging during an appearance in South Carolina that the history of the Crusades has been corrupted by “the American left who hates Christendom.”
“The idea that the Crusades and the fight of Christendom against Islam is somehow an aggression on our part is absolutely anti-historical,” Santorum said in Spartanburg on Tuesday. “And that is what the perception is by the American left who hates Christendom.”
He added, “They hate Western civilization at the core. That's the problem.”

"Phill Kline may have taken the stand in his civil suit yesterday, but it was Planned Parenthood that seemed to be on trial. During his testimony yesterday, Kline stunned the court by revealing parts of his investigation as Attorney General and Johnson County District Attorney. Together, he said, Planned Parenthood of Overland Park and abortionist George Tiller aborted the babies of 166 girls under the age of 14. Only one of those abortions was reported by each clinic. For Planned Parenthood, which is desperately fighting its reputation as a haven for child sexual abuse, the pattern of corruption continues. In at least 164 cases of underage rape or statutory rape, this organization-powered by millions of taxpayer dollars--turned a blind eye to hurting children, leaving them vulnerable to more abuse. In a suit that liberals are using to discredit, Phill Kline is using for good. Despite the hardship this trial is bringing on Phill and his family, he's turning the tables on his accusers and giving Americans an inside look at the abortion industry and its callousness toward women. This latest revelation is just more ammunition for Congress as they debate the current funding cycle. And unless America is in the business of sexual exploitation, Planned Parenthood shouldn't be a part of it."
Blah, blah, blah........
"Thank you for your comment regarding the 60-day emergency notice of information collection relating to ATF Form 3310.12 (Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Certain Rifles), published in the Federal Register on December 17, 2010. The Federal Register and supplement form may be found at: http://www.atf.gov/
The primary purpose of this program is to improve law enforcement’s ability to identify firearms traffickers, to disrupt the criminal activity and to stop deadly violence plaguing the southwest border States and Mexico. The multiple sales reports will apply only to rifles that are semi-automatic, greater than .22 caliber, and have the ability to accept a detachable magazine. Federal firearms licensees in the States of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas will complete the forms for those transactions when an individual purchases two or more of these rifles within five business days. We intend to evaluate the results at the end of a 1 year pilot period.
As mentioned in the notice, if granted by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the emergency approval of the form is valid for 180 days. All comments received in response to the notice will be carefully considered and, if warranted, revisions to the form will be made."
"........there’s no real point in Barry bashing. He is what he is. People are who they are, too. Greedy, selfish children, who want the government to give them everything. Democrats have trained hordes to expect this. Unions have locked in their entitlements beyond comprehension, really. The media’s praise of Barry Soetoro is laughable. The pretense of Democrat politicians is naked before all eyes now. Unions, money, and spending–for themselves, directly. That’s all that they are about."
"President Barack Obama’s numbers have plunged in all 50 states, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday — overall, the president’s average approval rating fell from 58 percent in 2009 to 47 percent in 2010.
The news came as the revolt against public unions started by Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin showed signs of moving to more states, according to Time magazine. Time pointed out that while anti-union legislation differs in states across the country, the conflicts in places like Ohio, Indiana and Florida all pit GOP governors or their statehouse allies against entrenched labor movements."
First violent signs, now violent songs.
The band Dropkick Murphys wants to do its part to stand with the Wisconsin protesters. What does that look like? Actually it sounds like a new song, released on union websites including the SEIU’s, that screams such phrases as “take the bastards down!“ and ”we got to smash them to the ground!”
“As part of the band’s efforts to support the workers, they are working with SEIU and other unions and labor federations to have the song available to be played at rallies across the country,” a post on SEIU’s website says.

"A reader suggested HP LaserJet Tough Paper for printing key references that might be used in the field. It is not paper. Rather, it is a plastic material that can be laser printed. It is waterproof, so it would be ideal for printing specialized maps and pages for field notebooks."
