    Another sickening example of how far we've fallen: A sizable percentage of people around the young Lady's age would look at that picture and think "Awesome piercing, Yo!" (rolleyes)...

    My - just 18 - daughter recently asked my permission to get her nose pierced. I told her I thought it was stupid, ugly and disgusting, but she's 18 and it's her nose, so... I assured her I would not disown her over *THAT*... but I still just don't get it.

    Ears? OK - so long as they're not stretched out to donut-proportions - but...

    What's this fascination with poking holes in various parts?

    You could throw our off balance version of capitalism in the mix as well. We demand a free market then throw money at banking, oil, farming and auto industries. If we really believed in a free market, we would stop subsidizing these firms. Please, show me a conservative candidate that feels this way and I'll vote for them.
