Trayvon™ Fight Club – The Inconvienient Truth

“Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance.

And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn’t fit in with the core belief.” -Frantz Fanon

Apparently Jahvaris Fulton-Martin, Trayvon’s™ older brother, is telling the media the fight club videos containing Trayvon™ Martin refereeing the fights are not him. This article from yesterday reflects the family position:

(WFTV) - Video showing teen encouraging others to fight was not Trayvon Martin, brother says – [...] Newly obtained video recorded before Martin’s death shows the teenager encouraging others to fight. However, Martin’s brother said Trayvon is not in the video.

Early on we fully expected the “fight club” videos and all of Trayvon’s™ U-Tube account to be scrubbed by the hired media consultant Ryan Julison. Obviouosly the risk of seeing Trayvon engaged in actual and intentional violent conduct was great because it did not support the false image of an innocent angelic child who “majored in cheerfulness“.

We were right, and they did. But not before we captured screen shots to reflect the factual reality. Here is a screen shot of Trayvon’s U-Tube account (which is not disputed)
