2nd Amendment

Via The Lonely Libertarian

Wow is this good.:)

VERBATIM

"When the second amendment was written, no one had even dreamed of the modern guns we have today. The second applies to muskets, as those were what America had when the amendment was written. It wouldn't have been an amendment if the founding fathers had imagined machine guns killing our children and other high technology weapons."

Thanks for your email. But you don't have the right to speak your opinion. You do not have freedom of speech. "What about the first amendment" you may blurt out? Sorry. The founding fathers didn't imagine email, blogs, the internet, TV, radio or any other "high technology" ways that you may wish to express yourself. God-given human rights only applied to the technology level of the 18th century, right?

Keep your putrid stupidity off the internet, please, and do us all a favor and GTFO of this country.

The truth and the fact is that the Second Amendment was conceived and written when ordinary civilians had exactly the same kind of weapons, ammunition, armor, and transport as the strongest military that operated at the time. The Founding Fathers would be *enraged* to discover that US citizens do not have direct and easy access to military hardware today.

As they would be to see that we pledge allegiance to a flag instead of the Constitution.
