The
nation is mourning the loss of 20 children and 26 lives.... shame on
you and GRNC for sending these emails out now. Our thoughts are for the
children and their families not the politics of guns. And whether gun
legislation is needed
is a thought for another day, but the one thing I am not going to do
today is blame the 1995 federal Act for this tragedy or suggest it
should be repealed because a man used legally obtained assault rifles to
shoot his way into an elementary school where he
killed 26 people--many first grade children-- with those same guns.
What an ill-timed and ill-conceived email and argument.
