Their Work Will Never Be Done

Today the world is different. Our nation is different. As Americans we are being pulled in different directions, called on by society to remain silent and acquiescent to the great ramrod of collectivism, or asked to risk everything for principles and ideals that are at the heart of Americanism, but no longer supported by our government(s). Indeed, to demand that the government recognize and operate under these very ideals upon which it is based is considered a threat.

If you believe, if you sing the song of patriotism, if you belong to a Tea Party, or 912, or American Legion for heaven's sake, you must side with one or the other. The time is now. And yes, I do recognize that your life is substantially unchanged from a decade ago, that it is easy to see how one might get through the Obama Administration and work to reverse some of the greatest abuses, but will the TSA come to an end? No. Will the IRS stop their abusive, arrogant treatment of the citizen? No. Will EPA, USDA stop the endless assault on the engines of prosperity? No. These are functions of an oppressive government, of tyranny and their work will never be done.

NC FIRE Illegal Alien Crime Report For April 2012

We have posted the latest monthly issue of the North Carolina Crime Report by Suspected Illegal Aliens on our website; www.NCFIRE.info. This report covers crimes by suspected illegal aliens in NC for the month of April. It is 60 pages long. That is short, when compared to previous months but, it is just as deadly. It can be viewed online as a pdf file here: http://ncfire.info/april2012.pdf.

This ongoing illegal alien crime wave against NC citizens has got to stop. Call your NC House Representative and tell them "Enough is Enough!"  You can find their contact info here: http://ncleg.net/gascripts/members/memberList.pl?sChamber=House

By issuing these reports, our goal is to draw attention to the size and scope of the problem in NC. This is not ALL of the crimes by suspected illegal aliens in NC and we do not report every crime, in every county, each month. We report as much as we can find before it is time to post the report for the month.

You can view the past 3 years worth of monthly NC crime reports on our "Crime Report Archives" page here: http://ncfire.info/crimearchives.htm

Sue Elizabeth Warren, Sue Harvard Law

Where’s the American Indian Movement when you need them? Where’s the Southern Poverty Law Center? Where’s the American Civil Liberties Union? A woman (Prof. Elizabeth Warren) claims to be American Indian, and she isn’t. Harvard Law hired her, as an Indian, and boasted about her as a minority/female statistic. This is high level legal suit material! Is there an attorney, or a group of attorneys, honest enough to uphold the law–for the sake of upholding the law?

Nah. It’s never been so. The higher level the case, the more generally insincere the attorney. Why expect anything different now?

Elizabeth Warren, Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law at Harvard School of Law, has a genealogist (Christopher Child) who claims now to have on hand a marriage certificate of Warren’s great-great-great grandmother (O. C. Sarah Smith) on which said ancestor designated herself “Cherokee.” But that doesn’t meet the standard of legal identity as an American Indian. First of all, the issue is whether or not she has an ancestor on the Dawes Commission rolls (of 1898-1914). If she does not, she is not legally Indian. The marriage certificate is irrelevant. Secondly, the marriage certificate (of obviously nearly pre-Civil War date) does not indicate blood quantum. It might be very small, in which case, Elizabeth may as well claim Eve as her ancestor.

100 blacks beat white couple, media bury attack

 Via Matthew

There’s outrage in Norfolk, Va., today after a white couple was attacked by a group of dozens of black teenagers, and the local newspaper did not report on the incident for two weeks, despite the victims being employees of the paper.

Even today, the Virginian-Pilot did not cover the crime as news, but rather as an opinion piece by columnist Michelle Washington.

“Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim,” Washington wrote, describing the onslaught that began when Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami stopped at a red light while driving home from a show on a Saturday night. A crowd of at least 100 black young people was on the sidewalk.

“Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began. …

“The victim’s friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. It happened four blocks from where they work, here at the Virginian-Pilot.”
Washington says neither suffered grave injuries, but both were out of work for a week. Forster’s torso ached from blows to his ribs, and he retained a thumb-sized bump on his head. Rostami reportedly fears to be alone in her home., while Forster wishes he’d stayed in the car.

The columnist admits the story has not, until today, appeared in the Virginian-Pilot.

“The responding officer coded the incident as a simple assault, despite their assertions that at least 30 people had participated in the attack,” Washington explains. “A reporter making routine checks of police reports would see ‘simple assault’ and, if the names were unfamiliar, would be unlikely to write about it. In this case, editors hesitated to assign a story about their own employees. Would it seem like the paper treated its employees differently from other crime victims?”
Washington says the day after the beatings, Forster searched Twitter for mention of the attack, and one post in particular chilled him.

“I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light,” wrote one person.

“I don’t,” wrote another, indicating laughter. “(do it for trayvon martin)”

Trayvon Martin, is the unarmed black teen, who died after being shot by a community-watch captain with white and Hispanic parents, George Zimmerman, in Sanford, Fla., sparking a wave of outrage long after the incident.

The newspaper is coming under heavy criticism today from residents in the greater Norfolk area, known as Hampton Roads.

“It is unbelievable that the Virginian-Pilot would BURY this story for two weeks for politically correct reasons. That is sad and disgusting,” said David Englert of Norfolk. “Someone should be fired or resign over the decision not to report this attack. It is a sad enough commentary on our society and community to read about how the responding police viewed this crime, but for our only newspaper to decide that they will hide from the truth rather than report the truth is PATHETIC! Any attack by a mob of people on any innocent victim should be put under a bright spotlight for all involved to be judged and exposed as appropriate, and to make sure that the criminal justice system does its job to protect those who obey the law.”

William Tabor of Chesapeake, Va., complained: “Surely the Pilot knew about it. A racially motivated attack is certainly news. Was it not politically correct enough to be reported? Is civilization suspended in Norfolk after dark? If we can’t rely on the police for protection, and our [news] media fails to warn us of such hazards, we can only rely on ourselves.”

Charles Chandler of Norfolk indicated: “I am not sure what I am angrier about. This story, or the crowd of black teens who needlessly and thoughtlessly beat two white victims. Or am I just angry that this still occurs in the year 2012. Nearly fifty years after the marches and the speeches and the declaration of civil liberties for all people. Clearly we are nowhere near the dream Dr. King envisioned. I am angry. I am angry at the calloused cop who stated “this is what they do”. I am angry at the Pilot for hiding it under a bushel.”

And Douglas Gaynor of Virginia Beach brought up the need for self-defense, saying, “If the young lady was armed and trained, she could have whipped out P345 and taken out a few thugs.”

Florida's violent crime rate, which fell by 12 percent in the five years before the "stand your ground" law was enacted, fell by 23 percent in the five years afterward. Since 1987, when Florida adopted a nondiscretionary carry permit law that the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence blames for "year after year of carnage," the state's violent crime rate has been cut nearly in half.

Traditional conservatives and the progressive revolution - You are the enemy because, as long as you, and your children, and your grandchildren live, the victory of the Revolution is not assured. Your question presupposes that your adversaries are playing the same game, by the same rules, that you are—and that if you can gain some understanding, and create some mutuality, that there can be peace. I might almost say about you, that "You have a dream."

If you see something, say something - Despite their all-seeing, all-knowing reputation, compared to other police departments neither the Gestapo nor the SD was ever numerically great. Post-war research has revealed that in the typical German city of Krefeld, between 1937-41 there were no more than 12-13 Gestapo officers for 170,000 inhabitants, a ratio of one officer for every 10,000–15,000 citizens. Outside of major conurbations there were often no Gestapo personnel at all. In such localities, the Gendarmerie or the Schutzpolizei conducted the police work performed by the Gestapo in the cities. The SD were even fewer in number. Both organisations relied upon a network of agents and informers to maintain their terrifying character. To a large extent, therefore, it could be said that the German population policed itself.

Anti-Bullying Speaker Curses Christian Teens

Via Ol' Remus

As many as 100 high school students walked out of a national journalism conference after an anti-bullying speaker began cursing, attacked the Bible and reportedly called those who refused to listen to his rant “pansy assed.”

The speaker was Dan Savage, founder of the “It Gets Better” project, an anti-bullying campaign that has reached more than 40 million viewers with contributors ranging from President Obama to Hollywood stars. Savage also writes a sex advice column called “Savage Love.”

Savage, and his husband, were also guests at the White House for President Obama’s 2011 LGBT Pride Month reception. He was also invited to a White House anti-bullying conference.

Savage was supposed to be delivering a speech about anti-bullying at the National High School Journalism Conference sponsored by the Journalism Education Association and the National Scholastic Press Association. But it turned into an episode of Christian-bashing.

Rick Tuttle, the journalism advisor for Sutter Union High School in California, was among several thousand people in the audience. He said they thought the speech was one thing – but it turned into something else.

“I thought this would be about anti-bullying,” Tuttle told Fox news. “It turned into a pointed attack on Christian beliefs.”

It was known to looters as the "miracle mile", actually three miles of four-lane highway west of the city, jammed with vehicular junk, parallel lines of rust and glitter and human ruins. The horror and stench deterred looting at first, afterwards the difficulty and danger of travel, finally the diminished numbers of able foragers. Rumors of how it came to be were forgotten in successive waves of catastrophes. From time to time wandering refugees came upon it, took all they could carry and moved on. Thousands of vehicles made good pickings even after all this time. Nobody stayed. Even by the standards that had become normal, this place was an unspeakable horror. What really happened was even worse.

When the collapse happened, it happened with astonishing speed. All wealth in digital form disappeared in less than an hour: bonds, checking accounts, investments, credit, debt, savings—everything. The economy immediately contracted to cash-and-carry with a side of barter. There were "addresses to the nation" and summit meetings and announcements, with draconian and contradictory decrees from DC, state capitals, mayors and even sheriffs. Everybody was in charge and nobody was in charge. The permanent government soon revealed itself for the madhouse it had been all along. Federal and state agencies were arresting each other, expanding, disbanding, merging and going rogue. Coup de 'tats and alliances and insurrections were reported and denounced and denied by turns until the tangled narrative became incomprehensible and, finally, irrelevant. Aside from the hobbyist preachers, the rumor mill took over short wave radio. Travelers from any distance were questioned closely. Only what they had seen with their own eyes was credited.

Five Anarchists Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Blow Up a Cleveland-Area Bridge, Had Similar Attacks Planned in Chicago

While the violent plot may not be officially related to Occupy Wall Street’s “May Day” plans, a quick search of the suspects’ Facebook pages shows that at least two of the individuals describe themselves as having worked at “Occupy Cleveland.”

The FBI has arrested five individuals described as “anarchists” after they allegedly conspired to blow up a Cleveland-area bridge, and wage similar attacks in Chicago in coordination with the upcoming NATO summit.

The group– at least three members of which are self-declared anarchists, according to authorities– decided to bomb the Route 82 Brecksville-Northfield High Level Bridge with C-4 as their first attack, after considering a number of other plots.

“After the Ohio attacks,” ABC writes, “the men would focus on waging similar assaults in Chicago during the upcoming NATO summit, according to FBI Special Agent Ryan Taylor…the five anarchists wanted body armor, helmets and gas masks to wear in Chicago, which was ‘the main place they were worried about having the protective gear because there is no telling what they might have to use there.’” [Emphasis added]

Suspect Douglas Wright is quoted by the FBI as predicting that a “s–t load” of anarchists would go to Chicago after leaving the Cleveland area “a pile of rubble and ashes,“ as anarchists in every major city throughout the country will ultimately be ”rioting and destroying each city.” [Emphasis added]

A written statement on the case elaborates that Douglas L. Wright, Brandon L. Baxter, and Anthony Hayne were arrested by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force on charges of conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce.  Charges against Connor C. Stevens, and Joshua S. Stafford are pending.

A Taste of Realism Yuck!

What is the point of pretending to teach the unteachable while, to all appearances, trying not to teach the easily teachable? The answer of course is that we have achieved communism, the rule of the proletariat, and the proletariat doesn’t want to strain itself, or to admit that there are things it can’t do.

I wonder what purpose the public schools serve, other than to warehouse children while their parents work or watch television. They certainly don’t teach much, as survey after survey shows. Is there any particular reason for having them? Apart from their baby-sitting function, I mean.
Schooling, sez me, should be adapted to the needs and capacities of those being schooled. For unintelligent children, the study of anything beyond minimal reading is a waste of time, since they will learn little or nothing more. For the intelligent, a public schooling is equivalent to tying an anchor to a student swimmer. The schools are an impediment to learning, a torture of the bright, and a form of negligent homicide against a country that needs trained minds in a competitive world.
Let us start with the truly stupid. Millions of children graduate—“graduate”—from high school—“high school”—unable to read. Why inflict twelve years of misery on them? It is not reasonable to blame them for being witless, but neither does it make sense to pretend that they are not. For them school is custodial, nothing more. Since there is little they can do in a technological society, they will remain in custody all

Rep. Broun: Homeland Security, TSA Use ‘Gestapo-Type’ Tactics

he top people at both the Department of Homeland Security and Transportation Security Administration should quit for using “Gestapo-type” tactics which violate privacy rights and civil liberties, GOP Rep. Paul Broun tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview.

And either the TSA should be privatized or the military should be brought in to the nation’s airports to conduct security screenings, the Georgia congressman added.

But the TSA will resist any attempts to bring private firms in, he added, “because they want to continue their Gestapo-type tactics of patting down grandma and grandpa and little children.”

Jefferson Davis Pleads for Peace

On January 10, 1861, Senator Jefferson Davis of Mississippi challenged his fellow United States Senators of the North to exhibit sufficient leadership to avert a coming war. They would not, nor did President-elect Lincoln who avoided any talk of legislative compromise with the South in order to hold the disparate factions of his purely-sectional party together – party over country.

Bernhard Thuersam, Chairman
North Carolina War Between the States Sesquicentennial Commission
"The Official Website of the North Carolina WBTS Sesquicentennial"

Jefferson Davis Pleads for Peace:

“Senator [Jefferson] Davis would speak for the South. He was still Senator, still its spokesman. Mississippi had not yet officially notified him of her action yesterday.

“Events, with a current hurrying on as it progresses, have borne me past the point where it would be useful for me to argue the question of rights.

What, Senators, today is the condition of the country? From every quarter of it comes the wailing cry of patriotism pleading for the preservation of the great inheritance we derived from our fathers. Tears are now trickling down the stern face of man; and those who have bled for the flag of their country, and are willing now to die for it, stand powerless before the plea that the [Republican] party about to come into power laid down a platform, and that come what will, though ruin stare us in the face, consistency must be adhered to, even though the Government be lost.

Why should not the garrison at Fort Sumter be withdrawn, if it would ease the tension and save bloodshed? And as for the flag:

Is there any point of pride which prevents us from withdrawing that garrison? I have heard it said by a gallant gentleman that the great objection was an unwillingness to lower the flag. To lower the flag!

Can there, then, be a point of pride so sacred a soil as this, where the blood of the fathers cries to Heaven against civil war? Can there be a point of pride against laying upon the sacred soil today the flag for which our fathers died? My pride, Senators, is different.

My pride is that the flag shall not set between contending brother; and that, when it shall no longer be the common flag of the country, it shall be folded up and laid away like a vesture no longer used; that it shall be kept as a scared memento of the past, to which each of us can make a pilgrimage, and remember the glorious days in which we were born.

I have striven to avert that catastrophe which now impends over the country, unsuccessfully, and I regret it. If you desire at this last moment to avert civil war, so be it; it is better so.

If you will not have it thus; if the pride of power, if in contempt of reason and reliance on force, you say we shall not go, but shall remain as subjects to you, gentlemen of the North, a war is to be inaugurated the like of which men have not seen.

Is there wisdom, is there patriotism in the land? If so, easy must be the solution to the question. If not, then Mississippi’s gallant sons will stand like a wall of fire around their State….”

CISPA Passes The House With Tea Party Support

Via Michael

CISPA was passed in the House largely along party lines. Why are small government advocates voting to bring more government to the internet?

CISPA, or the Cybersecurity Intelligence Sharing And Protection Act, passed the House yesterday. The bill is full of problematic intrusions into individual privacy and online liberty, and yet those members of the House who associate themselves with limited government were largely responsible for its passage.
“The complete roll call shows 206 Republicans voting for the bill, 28 against,” writes reason’s Tim Cavanaugh. “Democrats went 42 to 140 in the opposite direction.”

Of these Republicans, “47 of the 66 members of the House Tea Party Caucus” also supported the bill, notes Patrick Cahalan.

“For those tricky with the math,” Cahalan continues, “this means 88% of the overall GOP members (casting a vote) voted yea, 23% of the Dems (casting a vote) voted yea, and 71% of the Tea Party (casting a vote) voted yea (Paul and Pence didn’t cast a vote).”

Worse still, the bill underwent some last minute changes, which may have made CISPA even worse than in previous iterations.

SEALs slam Obama for using them as 'ammunition' in bid to take credit for bin Laden killing during election campaign

Serving and former US Navy SEALs have slammed President Barack Obama for taking the credit for killing Osama bin Laden and accused him of using Special Forces operators as ‘ammunition’ for his re-election campaign.

The SEALs spoke out to MailOnline after the Obama campaign released an ad entitled ‘One Chance’.

In it President Bill Clinton is featured saying that Mr Obama took ‘the harder and the more honourable path’ in ordering that bin Laden be killed. The words ‘Which path would Mitt Romney have taken?’ are then displayed.

Besides the ad, the White House is marking the first anniversary of the SEAL Team Six raid that killed bin Laden inside his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan with a series of briefings and an NBC interview in the Situation Room designed to highlight the ‘gutsy call’ made by the President.
