…RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KTLA) — A massive manhunt is underway for a double murder suspect who is a former police officer, after three officers were shot overnight, one fatally.
The suspect is believed to be Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, a former LAPD officer and Navy reservist, known to be a skilled sniper. Officials warned that he is armed and dangerous.
Dorner is believed to be driving a blue or gray Nissan Titan pickup, California license plate 8D83987 or similar. He may have changed the plates.
A blue alert for the suspect has been issued for Kern, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial counties.
Two LAPD officers were in Corona around 1:45 a.m. Thursday on a special detail related to the search for Dorner, who posted an online manifesto threatening police.
A citizen approached the officers, and directed them to a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect’s truck…

I know most of you who personally know me are in disbelief to hear from media reports that I am suspected of committing such horrendous murders and have taken drastic and shocking actions in the last couple of days. You are saying to yourself that this is completely out of character of the man you knew who always wore a smile wherever he was seen. I know I will be vilified by the LAPD and the media. Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name. The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days. It has gotten worse. The consent decree should never have been lifted. The only thing that has evolved from the consent decree is those officers involved in the Rampart scandal and Rodney King incidents have since promoted to supervisor, commanders, and command staff, and executive positions.

This morning, the cops SMOKED 2 Asian women delivering papers driving a similar looking truck to this man. The pictures of the truck are pretty sick. They just opened up on them. No confirmation of death, but look at the photo of their truck in the link above. Evidently it matched the one of the killer and they just opened up on it from the rear. F------ cowards.BT

Shooting before identity is verified, or even attempted, is gangbanger-like mentality. Third world, life is cheap mentality.

I didn't catch it until I read the comments, but the police were looking for a Nissan Titan. The truck they shot up was a Toyota Tundra!

Apparently, as it is with most leftists, he too is merely a legend in his own mind. I hope they get him before any more innocent lives are lost.
Marksman, surprising. As I remember, although there were many who qualified as such, many also received Sharpshooter and a few Expert. I received Sharpshooter initially, but got an Expert later on. Of course, I'm also the culprit who managed to shoot a hole in the roof of our indoor range as a member of my military school's rifle team.........:)
