Obama's Plan

Here is how I expect the shit to hit the proverbial fan.  It will not be a linear progression of events but rather several happening simultaneously, and all are already queued up to happen.

The biggest part of what I call the "Liberal Plan for the destruction of America" is financially.  As I think Bin Laden knew the best way to hurt America was by destroying or severely hampering our economy thus limiting the money available to defend ourselves.  Money really does make the world go 'round.  Without our large sums of cash we can't fund the multitude of countries around the world to do what we want, 'buy them off'.  So if we were to stop then they would be 'bought off' by either Russia or China.  Undoubtedly to do the things we were paying them not to do.  Which could start a chain events of violence that drag us into that country militarily.

Then there is the money that is spent here at home.

Texas single mom’s ‘thanks a lot’ letter to Obama goes viral

VERBATIM

An average Texas single mom’s letter “thanking” President Obama for Obamacare, and all that it entails, has gone viral
.
Yolanda (Lana) Vestal posted the letter on her Facebook page, and what started out as a way to vent, became a way for others to share frustration over Obamacare. The single mother of two blasts the president for increased taxes and lavish vacations. The post has received over 63,000 “shares,” according to FreePatriot.org.

Here is Vestal’s letter to Obama:

Dear President Obama,

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all you have done and are doing. You see I am a single Mom located in the very small town of Palmer, Texas. I live in a small rental house with my two children. I drive an older car that I pray daily runs just a little longer. I work at a mediocre job bringing home a much lower paycheck than you or your wife could even imagine living on. I have a lot of concerns about the new “Obamacare” along with the taxes being forced on us Americans and debts you are adding to our country. I have a few questions for you Mr. President.

Have you ever struggled to pay your bills? I have.

Have you ever sat and watched your children eat and you eat what was left on their plates when they were done, because there wasn’t enough for you to eat to? I have.

Have you ever had to rob Peter to pay Paul, and it still not be enough? I have.

Have you ever been so sick that you needed to see a doctor and get medicine, but had no health insurance because it was too expensive? I have.

Have you ever had to tell your children no, when they asked for something they needed? I have.

Have you ever patched holes in pants, glued shoes, replaced zippers, because it was cheaper than buying new? I have.

Have you ever had to put an item or two back at the grocery store, because you didn’t have enough money? I have.

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep, because you had no clue how you were going to make ends meet? I have.

My questions could go on and on. I don’t believe you have a clue what Americans are actually going through and honestly, I don’t believe you care. Not everyone lives extravagantly. While your family takes expensive trips that cost more than most of us make in two-four years, there are so many of us that suffer. Yet, you are doing all you can to add to the suffering. I think you are a very selfish and cold hearted man, who does not care what is best for the people he was elected by (not by me) to represent, but more so out for the glory of your name attached to history. So thank you Mr. President, thank you for pushing those of us that are barely staying afloat completely under water and driving America into the ground. You have made your mark in history, as the absolute worst and most hated president of the United States. God have mercy on your soul!

Sincerely,

Yolanda Vestal

DHS overtime abuse costing millions, watchdog says

Via Cousin John

 Carolyn N. Lerner

Could have left Obama off the "To" part since he doesn't give a rat's ass anyway.

The Homeland Security Department is conducting a sweeping review of overtime use by its employees amid allegations of widespread abuses that cost taxpayers millions of dollars annually.

The review comes in response to charges by a government watchdog agency that Customs and Border Protection headquarters employees have been regularly tacking on two hours of “administratively uncontrollable overtime” (AUO) every day and not performing work during that time. AUO is supposed to be used by field agents who work unpredictable and irregular hours.

Rather than working during those periods, staff in the CBP Commissioner’s Situation Room often spend the additional time watching television sports and entertainment channels or stay at their duty stations “relaxing, joking, surfing the Internet and taking care of personal matters,” said Carolyn Lerner, director of the Office of Special Counsel, in a letter to President Obama and Congress. In her letter, Lerner cited allegations brought by Jose Ducos-Bello, a CBP employee there. The letter is posted on the special counsel’s website.

Iowa Daycare Worker Kills 3-Year Old Girl For "Not Removing Her Coat

It is impossible to imagine a child going to daycare and suffering fatal brain trauma from an act of aggression by a caretaker. However, that is exactly what happened to adorable 3-year-old Autumn Elgersma. The toddler was brutally thrown to the ground by Iowa daycare worker Rochelle Sapp when she wouldn't take off her coat. Sapp originally lied to the police and claimed Elgersma fell down the stairs, before admitting she had thrust her down and fractured her fragile skull.

Ryan Miller and his wife Cathy awoke sometime after midnight to find their Louisiana home on fire.

Both were able to escape alive with burns sustained from the blaze. However, as Mr. Miller attempted to return into the inferno to rescue his three year old stepson Riley Miller, a city police officer tasered him three times to keep him from entering. Riley died in the fire and was pronounced dead at Pike Country Memorial Hospital.

Obama to Aides: I’m Really Good at Killing People

http://cdn.freedomoutpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Nobel-peace-drone-Obama-300x194.jpg

We have reported on Barack Obama's "Kill List," his appointment of the first ever US assassination czar (who now heads the CIA), and his use of drone strikes which have killed hundreds of innocent civilians, including children. Criticism of Obama's use of drones has come under serious criticism from his political opponents, as well as his political allies. However, according to a new book, Double Down: Game Change 2012 by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, Obama told his aides he is "really good at killing people."

Really good at killing people? Seriously, this is what the leader of the free world thinks is good? I suppose we should not be surprised that he would be "really good at killing people," since Obama is nothing more than a Chicago thug.

Virginia governor’s race is a referendum on gun control, Obamacare.

http://i0.wp.com/www.oag.state.va.us/IMAGES/KTC_family_photo2.jpeg?resize=369%2C245

Virginia gun owners will decide at the ballot box tomorrow whether they want to retain their rights by voting for Republican Ken Cuccinelli, or if they’d like to try NY SAFE-style gun control with anti-gun Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the one of the most directly “pro-gun vs. anti-gun” governor’s races in history.

After months of inattention, Republican Ken Cuccinelli II and Democrat Terry McAuliffe have drawn the polarizing issue of guns into the spotlight of the Virginia governor’s race.

For once, a Democrat is talking tough about gun control, as if daring the National Rifle Association to take him on. And gun-rights advocates are all too happy to take him up on the challenge.

It began with the Oct. 24 candidate’s debate at Virginia Tech University, the site of the worst mass shooting by an individual in U.S. history. In response to a question, Cuccinelli boasted of his A rating from the NRA.

And then McAuliffe did something surprising: He said he didn’t give a fig about the powerful lobby’s rating. And, oh, by the way, he had earned an F.

Differences over gun control between Cuccinelli, the state’s attorney general, and McAuliffe, a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, were not a secret before that debate. But Democrats rarely brag about their support for gun-control measures in statewide elections in pro-gun Virginia. McAuliffe’s change in strategy suggested a play for his liberal base — but also hinted that he felt comfortable changing the playbook in the still-evolving swing state of Virginia

Hit Piece: What I learned in concealed carry class

Could be one of Oleg's pictures, but it wasn't identified.

Earlier this year, my wife and I attended our day-long course that is a state prerequisite to obtaining a concealed handgun permit. Unsurprisingly, the room was packed full. The two of us looked not at all out of place. But a more detailed demographic might have put us in the minority. We’re both physicians at Triangle-area hospitals, both of us involved in trauma-related fields. We both see the horrific effects of very many guns in North Carolina. We both support legislation that would put forth reasonable efforts to curb gun violence. And we both voted for Barack Obama – twice.

Camp Knives: Big Blades For Heavy-Duty Cutting

The definition of a camp knife is a big, heavy knife that can do most of what a hatchet can do and much of what a knife can do. The concept is not new. Mountain men carried heavy butcher knives (and skinners, and patch knives), which would qualify nicely as camp knives. In 1849, the Ames Manufacturing Company in Massachusetts manufactured a Rifleman’s Knife for American soldiers, and today we’d call it a camp knife. In World War II, the Marine Corps issued a Hospital Corpman’s Knife to medical personnel, and a Bowie knife made by Western Cutlery, the W49, to some of its Raider units. (This is the knife that Robert Redford carries in Jeremiah Johnson.) Both would qualify as camp knives, and both are very useful.

Guns & Ammo Supports Gun Control

Guns & Ammo Technical Editor Dick Metcalf (courtesy gunsandammo.com)

Click here to download a pdf of Guns & Ammo‘s column Let’s Talk Limits. Technical Editor Dick Metcalf [above] penned the editorial for the December issue. Metcalf, a writer whose technical knowledge (or lack thereof) has earned him brickbats before, bases his editorial on a distinction between “infringement” and “regulation.” “I bring this up,” Metcalf writes, “because way too many gun owners still believe that any regulation of the right to keep and bear arms is an infringement. The fact is that all Constitutional rights are regulated, always have been, and need to be.” That, dear reader, is a major WTF moment. One of many . . .

Metcalf’s dietribe [sic] turns to the antis’ favorite justification for infringing on our natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear  arms: you “Can’t yell ‘FIRE!’ in a crowded theater.” Yes. Yes you can. It’s just that you’re legally responsible for what happens next. And what happens next in Metcalf’s editorial is bizarre—especially for an article that appears in a gun magazine:
Many argue that any regulation at all is, by definition, an infringement. If that were true, then the authors of the Second Amendment themselves, should not have specified “well-regulated.”
You’re kidding, right? Metcalf doesn’t know that “well-regulated” is “referring to the property of something being in proper working order“? That it has nothing to do with government regulation? No way!

You Also Can't Keep Your Doctor: I had great cancer doctors and health insurance. My plan was cancelled. Now I worry how long I'll survive my Stage 4 Cancer

Everyone now is clamoring about Affordable Care Act winners and losers. I am one of the losers.
My grievance is not political; all my energies are directed to enjoying life and staying alive, and I have no time for politics. For almost seven years I have fought and survived stage-4 gallbladder cancer, with a five-year survival rate of less than 2% after diagnosis. I am a determined fighter and extremely lucky. But this luck may have just run out: My affordable, lifesaving medical insurance policy has been canceled effective Dec. 31.

My choice is to get coverage through the government health exchange and lose access to my cancer doctors, or pay much more for insurance outside the exchange (the quotes average 40% to 50% more) for the privilege of starting over with an unfamiliar insurance company and impaired benefits.

HSLDA: Widows Fund

Widows Fund

M I S S I O N

The Widows Fund enables widows/widowers to continue homeschooling by helping them with the cost of curriculum and other emergency needs.

W H O   D O E S   I T   H E L P ?

Recognizing the unique challenges and often bleak financial circumstances that widows and widowers face, this fund offers HSLDA membership, curriculum scholarships, and emergency help so that dedicated widows/widowers can continue to direct their children’s education at home.

T H E  S T O R Y

In November of 1999, a father in Virginia learned of the death of a fellow homeschooling father. Burdened by the family's loss, and having heard similar reports in past years of families facing the same hard circumstances, he decided to establish a fund to assist widows with the financial costs of homeschooling their children. He presented the idea to the Home School Legal Defense Association, which enthusiastically agreed to help administer the fund. In March 2000, the Widows Fund was born.

The response from Home School Legal Defense Association members, as well as nonmembers, has been warm and overflowing. Even children have generously and sacrificially given to this fund from their small savings.

Excavator Stolen from RVA I-95 Battle Flag Memorial Site

 http://localtvwtvr.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/confederatestolen.jpg?w=363

Sometime between the morning of Thursday, October 31st and the morning of Friday, November 1st, an Hitachi excavator was stolen from the RVA I-95 Battle Flag Memorial Site in Chester, Virginia.  On September 28, the Va Flaggers raised a 15x15 Battle Flag on the site, to honor the memory of Confederate Soldiers who died defending Virginia in the War Between the States.

The equipment, valued at $20,000 was an orange Hitachi EX 100, and had a few strips of red tape on the dented engine compartment door.  "Excellent Excavator" is also printed on the side of the cab.

Evidence has been collected on the site, and the thieves apparently used a truck and trailer to steal the machinery.

As Chesterfield police officers investigated this afternoon, nearby residents who support the project came out and volunteered to clean up the brush that was to be removed today.  They rolled up their sleeves and quickly completed the work.  The Virginia Flaggers are very thankful for their support and help, as well as the quick response from the Chesterfield County Police.

This is a minor setback and will cause a brief delay in the scheduled completion of the project, which includes tree removal, lighting, and a security fence.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Chesterfield Police at (804) 748-1251.

PLEASE share this email with all of your contacts so that everyone can help keep an eye out for the stolen equipment, bring the thieves to justice, and return the excavator to its rightful owner.

Re-post

Letter from Union Lieutenant Thomas J. Myers: Feb 26, 1865 of the Morrill Tariff
"Camp near Camden, S. C.

My dear wife--I have no time for particulars. We have had a glorious time in this State. Unrestricted license to burn and plunder was the order of the day. The chivalry [meaning the Honourable & Chivalrous people of the South] have been stripped of most of their valuables. Gold watches, silver pitchers, cups, spoons, forks, &c., are as common in camp as blackberries.

The terms of plunder are as follows: Each company is required to exhibit the results of its operations at any given place--one-fifth and first choice falls to the share of the commander-in-chief and staff; one-fifth to the corps commanders and staff; one-fifth to field officers of regiments, and two-fifths to the company.

Officers are not allowed to join these expeditions without disguising themselves as privates. One of our corps commanders borrowed a suit of rough clothes from one of my men, and was successful in this place. He got a large quantity of silver (among other things an old-time milk pitcher) and a very fine gold watch from a Mrs DeSaussure, at this place. DeSaussure was one of the F. F. V.s of South Carolina, and was made to fork over liberally.. Officers over the rank of Captain are not made to put their plunder in the estimate for general distribution. This is very unfair, and for that reason, in order to protect themselves, subordinate officers and privates keep back every thing that they can carry about their persons, such as rings, earrings, breast pins, &c., of which, if I ever get home, I have about a quart. I am not joking--I have at least a quart of jewelry for you and all the girls, and some No. 1 diamond rings and pins among them.

General Sherman has silver and gold enough to start a bank. His share in gold watches alone at Columbia was two hundred and seventy-five. But I said I could not go into particulars. All the general officers and many besides had valuables of every description, down to embroidered ladies' pocket handkerchiefs. I have my share of them, too. We took gold and silver enough from the damned rebels to have redeemed their infernal currency twice over. This, (the currency), whenever we came across it, we burned, as we considered it utterly worthless.

I wish all the jewelry this army has could be carried to the "Old Bay State". It would deck her out in glorious style; but, alas! it will be scattered all over the North and Middle States. The damned niggers, as a general rule, prefer to stay at home, particularly after they found out that we only wanted the able-bodied men, (and to tell the truth, the youngest and best-looking women). Sometimes we took off whole families and plantations of niggers, by way of repaying secessionists. But the useless part of them we soon manage to lose; [one very effective was to "shoot at their bobbing heads as they swam rivers" after the army units crossed over], sometimes in crossing rivers, sometimes in other ways.

I shall write to you again from Wilmington, Goldsboro', or some other place in North Carolina. The order to march has arrived, and I must close hurriedly. Love to grandmother and aunt Charlotte. Take care of yourself and children. Don't show this letter out of the family.

Your affectionate husband, Thomas J Myers, Lieut.,

P.S. I will send this by the first flag of truce to be mailed, unless I have an opportunity of sending it at Hilton Head. Tell Sallie I am saving a pearl bracelet and ear-rings for her; but Lambert got the necklace and breast pin of the same set. I am trying to trade him out of them. These were taken from the Misses Jamison, daughters of the President of the South Carolina Secession Convention. We found these on our trip

Graham: I Will Block All Obama Nominees Until Congress Hears Testimony From Benghazi Survivors

Well, at least he got this right.

More than a year has gone by since four Americans were killed in the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack, and despite all the Capitol Hill hearings, Sen. Lindsey Graham isn’t satisfied with the information lawmakers have received. Thus, on Fox News Sunday, Graham again stated that he will continue blocking all of Obama’s nominees for executive branch positions until Congress hears from those on the ground during the attack.

“I shouldn’t have to do this—to make these threats,” he said. But until survivors are made available to Congress, he will.

“I don’t think it’s over the top to find out what happened to four dead Americans,” he said. “I don’t think it’s over the top to talk to survivors. The State Department interviewed these survivors.”

Famous comic flays Obama as lying 'maniac': 'If he wasn't the president, he'd be in jail or in a sanitarium'

Legendary comedian Jackie Mason has uncorked a full-blown assault on President Obama and his troubled attempt at providing health care for Americans.

“It’s such a ridiculous thing. The whole country’s walking around wondering if this guy’s really the president of a country. He sounds more like a maniac in an asylum,” Mason said in a radio interview Sunday night.

“He’s saying things that nobody believes. He was always lying every day of his life. Every time he talks it was a lie. The only time he tells the truth is when you didn’t hear from him.”

“This is becoming so ridiculous, that even the biggest liar can’t top himself,” Mason, 76, told host Aaron Klein on WABC in New York City. “He looks at you straight in the face, and tells you that if you want your plan, you got your plan, you keep your plan. Now, a month-and-a-half later, you got no plan, you lost your plan, and he tells you you still got a plan.”

Venezuela seizes US-owned oil rigs in dispute over unpaid bills

Venezuela has quietly seized control of two oil rigs owned by a unit of Houston-based Superior Energy Services after the company shut them down because the state oil monopoly was months behind on payments.

The seizure took place Thursday after a judge in the state of Anzoategui, accompanied by four members of the local police and national guard, entered a Superior depot and ordered it to hand over control of two specialized rigs to an affiliate of PDVSA, the state-owned oil producer.

Henry Arms Survival Kit

The whole kit fits in a small metal case.

Some things you keep handy just in case something unexpected happens. What if multiple friends show up unexpectedly for a spontaneous pool party at your house? You don't want to break out the china, crystal, or silver. Just give them the tools to not look like a bunch of drunken Neanderthals squatting over the kill: Dixie cups, paper plates, napkins, and plastic flatware. Give them items that are useful, cheap, disposable, lightweight, and don't take up much room.

That is a simple analogy for a short term, simple survival kit.

Top Five Reasons Americans Own Gun

Alexander Solzhenitsyn And The Collectivist Killer Archetype

Via Peter

 VasiliMikhailovichBlokhin-340x419

From one of the authors of A Failure Of Civility:

Read the words attributed last year to perhaps the most important and influential person in President Obama’s life. She’s been a mentor to Obama and his wife for years. No decision is made by Obama without it first being approved by Valerie Jarrett…

“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”
- Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Barack Hussein Obama

The above words come from a woman who is most likely “the power behind the throne” in the Obama administration. Obama makes no move without her approval. She’s a committed communist and a very intelligent, angry and vindictive woman.

You need to understand what is in store for you if you are an American who believes in our Founding Father’s Constitution, gun rights, individual liberties and freedom… and if America is totally lost to the control of people like Jarrett who will push to disarm us violently if necessary.

For those who haven’t read Matt Bracken’s essay and watched the video:

‘Democide: Socialism, Tyranny, Guns and Freedom’

…Concerned American has posted it again… read Matt’s essay and watch his video.

It’s critical to know what’s at stake besides just our ideals…

The authorities of many ideologies have employed brutal killers to deal with their ‘competition’ and opposition. But the following is an example of a particularly cold and calculating collectivist killer who orchestrated the mass murder shown in Matt Bracken’s video. Matt Bracken speaks for the souls of those Poles who can no longer speak for themselves.

A look at this killer will also give you a glimpse into the mentality of Marxists, socialists, communists by whatever name you use to describe… collectivists.

NC: Police Refuse To Release Video Of Cops Shooting Unarmed Man

 Via LH

police

North Carolina police are refusing to release video footage and other evidence that could shed light on an unarmed man’s death at the hands of an officer.

According to Chris Chestnut, the lawyer representing the unarmed man’s family, the police department’s unwillingness to release the footage recorded by a police cruiser’s dash cam casts doubt on the integrity of an ongoing investigation.

Last month, 24-year-old Jonathan Ferrell was shot and killed by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Randal Kerrick, who was responding to a late-night 911 call. Kerrick is facing voluntary manslaughter charges.

“We want the facts out in the public domain. Not part of them, all of them,” Chestnut said during a press conference on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

Police claim that the footage is not public record and won’t be released. The department has, however, released an audiotape of the 911 call  hat was made at the time. Ferrell was knocking on a door of an unknown household, and the audiotape reveals that the woman inside thought he was trying to break in.
