The Defenestration of Prague coming to our shores?

Don't mess with Czechs. On 23 May 1618 in Prague began the 30 Years War when Czech protestants tossed three Habsburg governors out a window -- the Defenestration of Prague. It was NOT a first story window, and this was not the first time the Czechs had removed offensive officials by defenestration. They killed seven city council members that way in 1419.

Now all you squeamish modern folks will wince at the thought of pitching offending officials out the window. However, think about it. Think how it would improve the manners of those defenestrated, and how respectful it would render the rest, the not-yet-defenestrated. Might work better than a recall election, and certainly more permanently.

  1. Count me in as one who would not wince, not even a little bit.

    2. I follow your posts whenever they pop up. But this one is priceless! This kind of action should have been happening here before and after Reagan. It would have improved the disposition of those who would seek to represent us. Even more so with this current bunch of criminals.

  2. Think of much better off we would be today if we did that to the big 3 back in 08. I am of the opinion that there are times when lying ought to punishable by death. And I am not talking about maybe in 20-30 years later, I mean no later than the next day. The Czechs had the right idea.

  3. Sounds like fun. But if there is no height, then a pit, filled with starving wolves is a remedy as well.

  4. I'm glad they opened the window first - be a shame to waste good glass on a scoundrel.

  6. Yes and as I mentioned to Sioux, she could get a refund on the rope she bought to use from my Pecan trees as this method is free! :)

  7. That's the problem. The swamp dwelling elites don't have to fraternize with us common people. They aren't held accountable or affected directly by the destructive, redistributive consequences their laws and regulations cause the majority of people. most of them live in gated communities with armed guards. Local governments have gotten the fascist bug and are also -in some places- using the fact that people are busy trying to eat and keep a roof over their heads - to implement nannystate policies that enrich their pockets, while draining ours.

    >>>"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security"

      Way overdue.

    2. The armed guards can be defenestrated too.

    2. Seems to be the most expedient method. No recall 'elections' with the associated costs, no lawyers (I really like that part) and probably best of all, the 'replacements' will in all likely hood toe the line for the immediate future. I say, "Brovo"!

  9. The actual drop out of the window at the Prague castle was only two stories and a number of the those defenestrated survived .The Czechs have a long history of defenestrating their opponents even into recent times .The Czech secret police continued it as a kind of signature assassination method aided in part by taller buildings.
