Father of Orlando Victim: My Son Would’ve Traded ‘Everything in the World’ for a Loaded Gun

The anti-gun lobby makes a habit of mocking the idea that firearms can be effectively used in self-defense situations.

This article by The Trace, for example, gleefully notes that (according to one study) the likelihood of injury when using a firearm for self-defense is identical to that of “running and hiding.”

It is true that leaving the premises is the number one option in an active shooter situation. But what if it’s impossible to run and hide? What happens when you’re trapped in a bathroom stall with no way out and there’s a homicidal religious zealot firing rounds on the other side of the door?

As the father of one Orlando victim told Sean Hannity this week, a loaded gun could have made all the difference in the deadliest active shooter situation in U.S history.

“There is a simpler solution, as Donald Trump has said many times, if you have somebody shooting back the game’s over,” Mark Bando said. “When the shooting started there wasn’t one person in there that wouldn’t have traded everything he owned in the world to have a loaded gun. But these people don’t realize it until they’re in a situation that’s far too late.”

  1. Blaming guns is like blaming the little kid who was just
raped by a filthy, degenerate pedophile. Of course, the
ugly liberals would do this. Totally deranged.
If only there had been somebody with a dbl barreled shot-
gun behind the bar with the balls to use it.

  2. Speaking of little kids, you know that little kid that the
alligator snatched off the beach at Disney World and the
news said he was found on the bottom of the lagoon; well
they lied. The little kid was found in the stomach of a
    seven foot alligator.
He was swallowed whole. They report the news
to suit themselves. Michael Savage reported on this.

    1. Thanks and I read that some wackos were rejoicing that a white child was killed. Well, we know who needs killin'.
