FBI tip led to Ontario terror take down

Good afternoon Brock!

Hope all is well! It would appear we owe you a thank you, the FBI was able to prevent a terrorist attack in Canada! Thank you!

Shucks, we honestly believed that the court order for this nutjob to not associate with terrorists and not plot terrorist attacks was going to be effective! lol

I highly doubt this lesson will actually stick in regards to our Liberal Government, they're still claiming no serious concerns for Canadians!

Take care for now!

Aaron Driver leaves the Law Courts in Winnipeg, Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Terrorism suspect Aaron Driver was killed in a confrontation with police in the southern Ontario town of Strathroy.

Police say it was an FBI tip early Wednesday that alerted them to the "imminent threat" posed by Aaron Driver, who was later killed in a confrontation in Strathroy, Ont.

RCMP deputy commissioner Mike Cabana says the tip included a video of Driver, 24, and a warning that he planned to detonate a homemade explosive device in an urban centre during morning or afternoon rush hour.

Cabana says that while Wednesday's confrontation had a tragic end, it could well have had a "completely different ending" with a "significantly larger loss of life."
