Warning to U.S. Military and Federal LEOs: Do Not Follow Orders to “Waco” Ammon Bundy Occupation, or Risk Civil War

Uphold a true warrior's memory by being honorable.

*******************************

This is addressed first and foremost to the entire U.S. military, but especially to the military Special Operations Command and community.    Secondly, it is addressed to federal LEOs, and especially to their SRTs, such as the FBI HRT (many of whom are former military special operations).  This comes from combat arms and special operations veterans, along with veteran Sheriffs and police officers, within the Oath Keepers organization:

Critical Warning:

The Ammon Bundy led occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon must be handled as a normal, non-crisis, law enforcement matter, and preferably by Oregon Sheriffs (who are organized as the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association), and their deputies, together with the local community there in Harney County, OR.   The locals can resolve this, if given enough time.   The Oregon Sheriffs can resolve this, if given enough time.

This situation must not be handled in a military or paramilitary fashion, using military assets, military rules of engagement, or otherwise attempting to end it suddenly by use of dynamic assault, resulting in catastrophic loss of life, as has occurred twice in recent American history, with horrific results (at Ruby Ridge in 1992, and at Waco Texas in 1993).  If you do it “Waco” style here, you risk pushing this nation over the edge into a civil war, because there are “no more free Wacos.

This is not an emergency situation, unless you turn it into one.  Ammon Bundy’s occupation of an empty building is essentially the same as civil-disobedience sit-ins that the political left has engaged in for decades, from anti-war and civil rights protesters in the 60s and 70s (including a nineteen month occupation of Alcatraz by American Indian activists), to Occupy Wall Street Movement and Black Lives Matter activists today.

These ranchers, cowboys, and veterans just happen to be armed, as westerners tend to be.   Get over it.  There are no hostages, there are no close-by neighbors at risk, there is nobody there except those who want to be.

 Good riddance to bad rubbish.

A company hired to help New Orleans take down four Confederate monuments has walked away from the job after its employees received death threats and other businesses threatened to cancel their contracts, a city attorney said in court Thursday (Jan. 14).

A pair of articles for your perusal this evening and tomorrow....

First, from Fox news:
BALTIMORE –  Congressional Republican leaders found themselves caught Thursday in the middle of a mounting feud over South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s criticism of Donald Trump, complicating their efforts to ease party divisions and craft a legislative agenda for the year.
Hill Republicans are meeting at a retreat in Baltimore to hammer out their 2016 priorities, including on health care and national security. But they’ve also had to weigh in after Haley, during the official GOP response to the State of the Union address, cautioned Americans about following “the angriest voices” on immigration, a reference to Trump’s hardline views on the issue.
Haley later made clear she indeed was referring to Trump -- spurring rhetorical reprisals from the Republican front-runner and leading conservative figures.
Oh really?

Well maybe that's because the GOP has sold out Americans for the last 30 years.  They've lied repeatedly about their economic plans, about the budget, about immigration and about jobs.
But Washington Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, appeared Thursday at the retreat to try to ease the Haley-Trump controversy and bridge the divide, saying she understands voters have “a lot of frustration” with how Washington is being run.
Frustration?

**** you McMorris Rodgers.

You, Ms. Evil Incarnate, are one of the chief architects that has refused to stop deficit spending.

 13hours

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” – Rated R: This is a great movie. Very well done. I liked it much better than “American Sniper” (read my review). It’s nearly 2.5 hours long, but you’d hardly know it, as it is full of heart-pounding action, suspense, and–yes–comedy. It is very entertaining, but an important education for every American, even if you know many of the details of the true story of what happened on September 11, 2012 at two U.S. installations in Benghazi, Libya–one a diplomatic outpost and the other a secret CIA base.

Although Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are never mentioned, it’s very clear that they are the failed “leaders” who bear responsibility for the Muslim murders of three security team members and Ambassador Chris Stevens. As indicated by the title, the movie details the 13 hours of horror faced by six security detail members and how they begged the CIA station chief to give them permission to respond to the attack on the Ambassador’s residence, permission he repeatedly refused to give. The movie shows in stark detail the arrogant, smug, hateful attitude exemplified by many a State Department diplomat toward our military men and contractors. They treat the military and security contractors like dirt and constantly tell them they are “not needed.”

Trump Rents Out Iowa Theater – Offers Free Tickets to See ’13 Hours’ the Benghazi Movie

The Des Moines Register reported:

Donald Trump has rented space at an Urbandale movie theater and will give Iowans free tickets to a showing of the Benghazi movie that critics of Hillary Clinton have been eagerly awaiting.

“Mr. Trump would like all Americans to know the truth about what happened at Benghazi,” the GOP presidential candidate’s Iowa co-chair Tana Goertz said Thursday night.

Trump will pay for the showing of “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” at 6 p.m. Friday at the Carmike Cobblestone 9 Theatre at 86th Street and Hickman Road, Goertz said.

“The theater is paid for. The tickets are paid for. You just have to RSVP,” she said.

Donald Trump’s mortal enemies in mainstream politics and media have shifted strategy. In the ramp-up to the Iowa, February 1, Caucasus, the culprits have been pushing presidential hopefuls Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio onto a defiant Republican base. The Cartel has taken to discussing Trump as a nightmare from which they’ll soon awaken. Candidate Trump’s energetic, politically pertinent speeches, and near daily rallies—packed to the rafters with supporters—are covered by media only to condemn this or the other colorful altercation. Ted Cruz, we‘re being lectured, is poised to topple Trump in Iowa.

But what do you know? On the eve of January 12, as if in recoil to the concentrated toxicity of Barack Obama’s last State of Disunion address, featuring the divisive Nikki Haley in the GOP’s corner, Trump punched through the lattice of lies. The media-political-complex was caught trousers down again. National polls have Trump at 36 percent, Reuters at 39 percent. A CBS/NYT poll placed him 17 points ahead of Ted Cruz, his closest rival. In Iowa, Trump leads Cruz 28 to 26 percent.

The central conceit that currently defines media’s self-serving surmises is that the Trump Revolution is confined to the Right and is thus self-limiting.
