In spite of the admitted evidence of Turkish shelling Aleppo and Turkish ground forces inside Syria the lead story on CBS News was an accusation that Russian aircraft were responsible for strikes on "schools and hospitals" in Aleppo.  Attacks on "schools and hospitals" has become the favored vehicle for Obama administration false flag propaganda.

Toss in that Sec. of State Lurch, err Kerry, admitting that the flood of immigrants represented an "existential threat" to Europe. So then the 100,000 or so that the DoS have admitted here don't? Yeah right.

These people are so incompetent that they could stumble the world into World War III in order to convince themselves that they aren't the biggest fool's since 1914.

I'd ask God to spare us from such political fool's but I fear it may be too late.

Senator Patty Murray Called Out On Supreme Court Partisan Hypocrisy

Via Michael

United states Senator Patty Murray gave a speech at a Planned Parenthood rally at the capitol in Olympia, where she dogged on the Republicans for holding up an Obama Supreme Court nominee, made fun of Ted Cruz, and said Republicans “Watch Mad Men and think it’s a how-to.”

After the speech, I had an opportunity to ask her about Senator Schumer’s similar tactic of wanting to hold up Bush Supreme Court nominations when he was nearing the end of his Presidency. Senator Murray’s staffers blocked me as they shuttled her into the get away car, and Senator Murray had no interest in answering the question about her own party’s hypocrisy.

Burns Chronicles No 7 – What is Brandon Curtiss?

 Brandon

I received a phone call from Ryan Payne, shortly after the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge was entered by nine people, and restored to ‘open to the public’. Ryan indicated that there was a need for others to come join them, as they were concerned for the safety of such a small crew.

Now, many will question why they might be concerned for their safety, however, we need only consider the last few weeks to understand, as many patriots do, that the federal government tends to solve problems with bloodshed, unless all parties come out with their hands up, and submit to arrest whether there is a real crime, or not.

With the understanding that those who might enter the Refuge, since renamed Harney County Resource Center (HCRC), might find that the government would want to arrest them, it was felt by the Operation Mutual Defense Advisory Board (OMD-AB) that a caveat regarding that possibility be included in a call out.

Upon being advised, through other sources, that Brandon Curtiss, Idaho III%, had secured a 40-acre parcel for visitors to camp on, this seemed to be the solution to an alternate location for those who might otherwise not show up because of the caveat.

Commissioned in Hamburg in late 1942, the U 534 is a Type IX C 40 long-range ocean going submarine. She was mainly used as a weapons testing platform, and until the late summer of 1944 was also used as a weather ship in the North Atlantic. During the autumn of that year she left the massive U. boat pens at Bordeaux and sailed back to Germany where she was laid up in Kiel. So far nothing out of the ordinary, just another U. boat. But during May 1945 things changed.

Palestinians ramp up terror to gunfire. Israel Intelligence still at a loss

Sunday, Feb. 14, will go down as a landmark day in the terror campaign the Palestinians have been waging against Israel for five months. It marked the latest, deliberately ramped up phase. After advancing from rocks, stabbings, car rammings and teen attacks, through the stage of loners to gangs of two and three, it moved up this week to shooting and explosive devices. Four Palestinian shooting attacks took place in 12 hours, most using knock-off Carl Gustav submachine guns turned out by illegal foundries in Nablus.

The latest attacks were deliberately planned to maximize casualties among Israeli police officers and soldiers. In Jenin it started with an ambush: Two 15-year old boys threw rocks at a group of Israeli reservists, who gave chase. One of the fleeing boys then pulled out a submachine gun, turned round and sprayed the pursuers, who returned the fire, killing the boys.

Reconstruction in South Carolina

 Voorhees

In 1872, Daniel W. Voorhees, a Congressman of Indiana, made a speech in the U.S. House of Representatives in which he described conditions in the South after the war, during the period (laughingly) known as “Reconstruction.”  He accused the United States government, under the control of the Republican Party, of plundering and slandering the conquered Southern states, sending “powerful missionaries of mischief in the form of committees, backed by the money and power of the government, whose labors are to blacken the character and fame of their people, under the guise of official investigations and reports.”

Speaking of South Carolina, “the once proud land of Marion and Sumter,” then under Carpetbagger (Republican) control, Voorhees, stated the following:
…South Carolina…now the most wretched state that the sun shines on in its course through the heavens.  There is no form of ruin to which she has not fallen a prey, no curse with which she has not been baptized, no cup of humiliation and suffering her people have not drained to the dregs.  I am told that disorder has reigned in some counties within her borders, and we behold martial law, worse than the lawless tyranny of the dark ages, ravaging her firesides and scattering her households.

The Odd Death of Antonin Scalia

Via comment by Anonymous on Scalia found dead with 'pillow over his head'

 scalia

UPDATE: I wonder what Justice Scalia, a strict constitutionalist, thought about the TPP, the TTIP and their Investor-State Dispute Settlement provisions? Because not only do these provisions undermine US law as it stands, but they also supersede the constitution and even rulings of the Supreme Court.

Obama and the leaders of 11 other nations signed the TPP earlier this month. Obama was granted Fast Track authority, but the corporate bill of rights passing as a “trade deal” will still have to be approved by the senate in an up or down vote. It will pass and Obama will sign it leaving just one obstacle: it will certainly be challenged in the Supreme Court on the grounds that it is not constitutional.

Scalia was apparently brought out to the ranch owned by a vulture capitalist to meet with 35 substantial business people shortly after Obama signed the TPP and Obama’s offering to take Scalia’s place is a pro-business neoliberal shill?

Interesting timing, right?

Donald Trump: Since RNC ‘In Default,’ Pledge Now Voided, I ‘Can Do What’ I ‘Have To Do’ To Win

Via Billy

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks with members of the media during a news conference Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, in Hanahan, S.C. ()

2016 GOP presidential frontrunner Donald J. Trump tells reporters here that his pledge to support the eventual GOP nominee is now void because the Republican National Committee, along with local and state GOP factions, is stacking debate audiences with donor class officials.

“The RNC is in default,” Trump said at the press conference. “Just so you understand, the RNC is in default. When somebody is in default, that means the other side can do what they have to do. The RNC is in default.”

Cruz: If Trump Wins… ‘We Will See the Second Amendment Written Out of the Constitution’

Via Billy

Donald Trump threatened to file suit against Cruz today if he doesn’t stop running his dishonest ads.
Following the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz said the 2016 election should be a “referendum” on the nation’s highest court.
The Texas senator told NBC’s Chuck Todd Sunday morning that he is looking forward to debating either of the Democratic presidential contenders on the future of the Supreme Court. However, according to Cruz, it isn’t just the two Democrats who could immeasurably alter the interpretation of the Constitution, in particular when it comes to gun rights.
“If Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders wins, or for that matter, if Donald Trump wins — whose record is indistinguishable from them on a great many issues — then we will see the Second Amendment written out of the Constitution,” Cruz said,

Cruz also said that should Trump or Clinton be elected, “we will see unlimited abortion on demand.”

Poll: Ben Carson a good vice presidential running mate for Trump.

 https://cbsnewyork.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/carson_trump.jpg?w=625&h=352&crop=1

The Saturday night Republican Presidential debate held in Greenville, South Carolina, last evening was not a Saint Valentine’s Party warm up, but it was more instructive than most political events in gauging candidate positions on the issues. There were many accusatory attacks by candidates on other candidates and rounds of sharp rebuttals. Many voters are turned off by this, but otherwise voters will be left either misinformed or uninformed on candidate positions.

I was not able to attend the Greenville debate. In fact, I was only able to see the last half of it, so I enquired of an informed friend who was at the debate, how it went.I was referred to eleven online polls asking who won the debate. This is often used as a surrogate for which candidate is preferred. Online polling has some advantages, because it overcomes the reluctance of many voters to tell people what they really think. This is especially true in a culture of accommodation to political correctness. Online polls have numerous weaknesses, however. There is no real control on the age, registration, or even citizenship of those polled. There are few safeguards against people voting more than once. They don’t meet the hard-to-achieve perfectly representative sample goal of polling, but they can provide quick accumulation of massive data.

Many people have complained about the contentious atmosphere, which many people wrongly attribute completely to Trump rather than his sometimes vicious detractors. It appears Trump did extremely well. Evidently, poll responders agree with his most important positions, especially on immigration and the dangers of Islam, and appreciate his outspoken rejection of political correctness. They trust his business intelligence and know-how to improve our trade deficit and get back American jobs. They appreciate that by being able to finance his own campaign, he is much less vulnerable to political corruption. He is free enough and strong enough to do the right thing. They are not overly interested in libertarian nuances, when they feel larger problems like their jobs, standard of living, economic future, and safety of their families and culture are being threatened. They want no more of the Republican establishment politicians who care not a whit about American workers and middle class wage earners.

A total of 568,000 people had responded to the eleven online polls by 9:00 AM this morning. Results were still coming in, but the percentages had become stable since midnight. A weighted combination of these online polls indicated 59.1 percent of respondents believed Trump won the debate. In second place was Cruz with 17.7 percent, followed by Rubio with 11.9 percent.  Kasich was fourth with 5.1 percent, with Bush following with 3.5 percent. Carson, once a leading candidate but lacking big donor support, lagged badly at 2.6 percent.

More than half of the weighted poll, 54 percent, came from the Drudge online poll. Trump led with 57.2 percent, followed by Cruz with 20.4 percent, Rubio with 12.1 percent. The other candidates were very close to their representation in the total weighted poll.

The Glenn Beck online poll, which was the second largest with 14 percent of the total, showed some sharp differences.  Beck has raged against Trump for months and praised Cruz.  Cruz made his highest showing in the Beck poll, 33 percent, but still trailed Trump’s 46 percent.

I had formed a hypothesis that the Rupert Murdoch related Wall  Street Journal and two Fox online polls would be low polls for Trump and high polls for Rubio, because Murdoch has been trying to destroy Trump and is financing Rubio, all this being related to their immigration positions. Murdoch is for amnesty and open borders, which Trump strongly opposes, and which Rubio pursued through the Schumer-Rubio amnesty and proposal to more than double legal immigrant workers.  Rubio generally dodges the immigration issues, frequently using a 25 second memorized barrage of off-the-subject patriotic bromides to escape a question.  I found the three Murdoch WSJ/Fox polls matched very closely with the Time Magazine online poll. The four polls, however, yielded a strong 66 percent for Trump. They did yield a higher than average support for Rubio at 14 percent. The really big difference was that each of these liberal oriented polls yielded a unanimous and devastatingly low 5 percent for Cruz. Kasich outpaced Cruz in these four polls with an average of nearly 8 percent.

Right Scoop and four smaller online polls averaged 69.5 Percent for Trump. Right Scoop had 12.1 percent for Cruz, but the smaller four online polls ranged only from 4 to 6 percent for Cruz. Rubio ranged from 8 to 17 percent for these polls, averaging 11.8 percent.

The biggest lesson of the Greenville debate is that the Republican establishment has not been able to stop the Trump surge despite extraordinary efforts to derail him, often resorting to unprecedented distortions of his past political positions, blowing up minor issues and incidents beyond reality, and even making a major deal out of whether he says 2 Corinthians instead of Second Corinthians.

I like both Trump and Cruz, but I think Cruz has relied on over the top nuances and exaggerations of Trump’s past positions, when conservatives are concerned about much more important issues like jobs, wages, national security, and public safety. Carson’s accusation that Cruz used a dirty trick to confuse voters in New Hampshire has hurt Cruz more than I thought. Even in the most honest and well-run campaigns, it is difficult to control the actions of volunteers and lower staff levels. The issue is important ethically, but only significant, if it started with Cruz or was approved by Cruz. In addition, Cruz was asked (bated) in a TV interview about his reaction to the tragic murder of nine blacks while praying in their Charleston church, which led to Governor Haley’s and the South Carolina Legislature’s decision to remove the Confederate flag from a monument to Confederate dead near the capitol building.  He handled the first part of the interview well enough in my opinion, saying it was a state issue, and no one should come to South Carolina wagging an accusing finger about the incident. So far good, but then he went into high praise for Governor Haley’s and Senator Lindsey Graham’s handling of the situation, which created a domino effect of attacks on Confederate symbols and monuments throughout the South. This probably hurt Cruz with some of his strongest supporters in both South Carolina and other Southern states.

Low online polls also threaten Jeb Bush’s campaign viability.   Murdoch and other big donor Republicans are already switching their support to Rubio.

However, Rubio’s close association with the amnesty issue is unpopular. A recent withering letter from Eagle Forum leader Phyllis Schlafly to Eagle Forum members pointed out that Rubio had betrayed his promises to conservatives on immigration. He is in on video making opposite promises to Spanish and English speaking audiences. Rubio’s immigration record may be too steep a hill to overcome conservative opposition even with the vast financial power of Murdoch, the Koch brothers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Republican establishment.

Kasich will probably stay in the race as a safer establishment candidate than Rubio. Kasich is also for amnesty and liberal immigration policies.  His positions are just not as well known to the public.  He is therefore a greater threat to conservatives even than Rubio. One of the online polls indicated that many people would consider Ben Carson a good vice presidential running mate for Trump.

Saul Alinsky Isn’t Source Of Dem’s Strategy, Marxist Antonio Gramsci Is

The Democrat Party is being led by an obscure Communist named Antonio Gramsci. The full implications of a socialistic worldview cannot be ascertained in a country dominated to some extent by capitalism. Socialists, like their kissing cousins the Communists, are thieves. They live off the capital of others. When the capital runs out, they are left with Cuba and North Korea.

Socialists are like termites. They are indiscriminate in their choice of wood to satisfy their voracious appetites. By the time you recognize that termites have invaded your house, it’s often too late.

Termites leave the form of the piece of wood they consume by only chewing out the heart.

Socialism and Marxism can be compared to termite infestation. The forms of freedom are left intact so the underground work can be done unnoticed. Those who see the remaining forms have no idea what is going on inside. Socialism steadily extracts the nourishment from a society by continually eating away its host.

France to Shut 100-160 Illegal Mosques, “Staggering” Number of Weapons & Ammo Found

Via David

While Muslims can be peaceful, Islam was born in war and grew the same way. From the time of Mohammed, the means of Muslim expansion was always the sword. Muslim thought divides the world into two spheres, the Abode of Islam and the Abode of War. Christianity — and for that matter any other non-Muslim religion — has no abode. Christians and Jews can be tolerated within a Muslim state under Muslim rule. But, in traditional Islam, Christian and Jewish states must be destroyed and their lands conquered.

In the wake of the November 13 Paris terrorist attacks that claimed more than 130 lives, the French government is ordering up to 160 mosques to be shut down in the coming months. Raids have revealed large stashes of weapons and ammunition.

The government’s emergency powers grant it the right to take this extraordinary measure, and mosques that are unlicensed or have a history of “preaching hatred” are being singled out.

One of France’s chief imams, Hassan El Alaoui, said last Wednesday, “According to official figures and our discussions with the interior ministry, between 100 and 160 more mosques will be closed because they are run illegally without proper licenses, they preach hatred, or use takfiri speech.”

Takfiri speech involves sectarian slurs leveled by one Muslim against fellow Muslims.

“This kind of speech shouldn’t even be allowed in Islamic countries, let alone secure countries like France,” El Alaoui said.

Meanwhile, several of these mosques have been raided, revealing a “staggering” number of weapons and ammunition.

The Feds Want To Send Agents To Your House For “Home Visits” to Assess Your Children’s Well-Being

Via David

The federal government is seeking to create a new bureaucracy that would intervene in family life and could even see state-appointed monitors conduct routine home visits to assess a child’s well-being.

The U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has published adraft document which outlines a plan that will treat families as “equal partners” in the raising of children, opening the door for government intrusion at all levels. The paper describes how government employees will intervene to provide, “monitoring goals for the children at home and the classroom,” and that if parents are failing to meet the standards set, “evidence-based parenting interventions” will be made to, “ensure that children’s social-emotional and behavioral needs are met.”

‘Swedish K’: The Unsung Friend Of American Special Forces In Vietnam

The 9mm Carl Gustav M/45 submachine gun occupies a unique place in United States Special Forces history for, during the Vietnam War, it was often chosen over the then troublesome M-16 series by members looking for a reliable, controllable and reasonably accurate weapon at short ranges.  Once they fired it, the new owners found the ‘Swedish K,’ as it was to become known, a perfect weapon for close quarters combat. More specifically, Navy SEALs preferred it for its ability to keep functioning in sandy conditions when conducting over-the-beach operations.  And as the war surged on, the gun became an almost required piece of gear for those long hikes in the jungle or traipsing through muddy swamps in journeys that tested every piece of gear’s reliability.

Fury Carry Solutions Range Series holster was designed to enable effective carry of a sidearm when wearing a load-bearing vest or armor. For a lone defender unsupported other riflemen, a sidearm provides a stop-gap measure should the rifle malfunction or run dry in really close quarters.

The past field-expedient solution was to use one of the magazine pouches for the pistol. That work, but presents an increased likelihood of accidental discharge with soft pouches, and a rather difficult time re-holstering one-handed.

The Constitution Will Be Ruled "Un" Constitutional

Standing watch with tears in my eyes,

What a sad day Saturday was for the world and also the United States. Normally I try to stay with economic/finance and geopolitical logic in my writings. Half of today’s writing will discuss the Turkish (and coming Saudi) assault on Syria, the final half will discuss the very untimely death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. It is usually better to steer clear of politics but today’s missive will give the public trolls a chance to scream prior to my work becoming part of the premium content section at JSMineset.

The situation in the Middle East has been complicated for several thousand years but never more so than it is today. At its core and “publicly” you have the dislike between the two Muslim factions Sunni and Shia and the struggle between the West and the East. Business must also be added into the mix and when I use the word “business” I am speaking of oil. The situation is extremely complicated and confusing to the point of not really making sense of who friend or foe is. I believe a good description of the very confusing situation can be read here. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-02-14/road-world-war-iii-turkey-shells-syria-second-day-saudi-warplanes-arrive
From a very broad perspective here are a few observations. Because of Syria’s location, they are pivotal. You see, their land mass must be crossed in order for a pipeline from Western ally oil and gas into Europe. Russia, Syria’s “protector” Russia Prime Minister Warns US and Arab Countries:

Invading Syria “will start a new world war” for a lack of better words, does not want the pipeline built as the energy flow strengthens Western business and is a direct competitor to their own energy industry. This can also be viewed from a currency standpoint and might even be called a “currency war”. One side pro dollar and the other wanting a move away from the dollar. A power struggle of epic proportions is unfolding between dollar and non-dollar interests.

One might ask “why now”?

The federal government and its One World Government advocates in the United Nations and elsewhere are locked in a culture war with the American West in much the same manner as they are with the American South (Dixie). Here in Dixie they simply loathe people who display or carry Confederate flags and who want to preserve their culture.  In the West they loathe and despise  people who wear cowboy hats and boots and who just might work the land for a living.

They hate these folks because, with their Marxist worldview, they feel all the land belongs to them and private property is something that should be beyond the pale for anyone (except themselves). The Westerners, their way of life and their culture have to go. There is just no room for them in the “Brave New World” these Marxist mentalities in Washington and New York are “reconstructing” for all of us docile people who don’t know any better than to believe the prevarications they spin out there for us to swallow.''

Both people involved in a bizarre botched robbery over pricey sneakers have been arrested after the victim rammed the teenage robber with his SUV, severing his arm, police said Saturday.

Zachary Sam, 17, had arranged online to meet Philippe Pierre to buy a pair of $190 Air Jordan sneakers on a Brooklyn street, police said. But when he hopped into Pierre's SUV, he pulled out a gun and demanded the shoes for free, according to authorities.

Surveillance footage from the scene shows the teenager get out of the car, put something in his pocket, and walk away with a white plastic bag.

Pierre, 39, drives away slowly, but then makes a sharp U-turn and rams Sam, pinning him under the car and a fence. The teen hopped up and staggered away, his sleeve flapping. The arm and the gun were discovered at the scene, officials said.

Raising Feral Children

Via WRSA

 Language, as usual.

One of the prize-winning article requests was: “engagement/psychological preparation of children/youth in your planning and preparations—what the hell are you going to do with TMO?”

The following article is actually an excerpt from the working draft of the new book. It is not the exact content in the finished book, but pretty close. Mostly, just the layout is changed, to fix contextual issues that only make sense if you’ve read the six and a half chapters that lead up to this point, before getting into the training-specific aspects of the book.

For most people, the mental image that arises with the term “feral children,” is the boomerang-chucking little mute kid in the Mad Max: Road Warrior. Sociologically, the term “feral children” however refers specifically to children who live isolated from human contact from a very young age.

This leads to a lack of cultural behaviors and understanding, including care and language. While historically, many feral children have been abandoned or confined by their parents as a rejection of intellectual or physical handicaps, there are cross-cultural mythological examples of feral children growing into successful adults. From the Roman foundation myth of Romulus and Remus, to the modern fiction examples of Kipling’s Mowgli, and Burrough’s Tarzan, we can reflect back to the earlier point from this book that “myth is history, told better.”

In the mythological examples, we see children with relatively normal levels of human intelligence and physicality, growing into a superior being, because of their enhanced physical attributes and survival instincts that have not been dulled by exposure to social behavioral norms. Of course, this concept is closely tied to the “noble savage,” or “Myth of the Golden Age,” but it also offers an extremely useful approach for developing cultural identity and raising children that will continue the survival of cultural values and tribal identity.
