Police detail charges facing 33 people arrested during Saturday protests

Of the estimated 40,000 attendees at the protests that took over Boston Common Saturday, Boston police said 33 were arrested for charges including assault and battery on police officers.

Three people were found wearing ballistic vests, and one of those was armed, Police Commissioner William Evans said. Three people were charged with carrying knives.

  1. Happy to see these criminals being charged. Interesting that nearly all seem to be local, which was probably not the case in Charlottesville.
