Uncle Sam, Global Gangster

Via Looking in the Mirror

If all goes as planned, it will be the happiest of wartimes in the U.S.A. Only the best of news, the killing of the baddest of the evildoers, will ever filter back to our world.

After all, American war is heading for the “shadows” in a big way. As news articles have recently made clear, the tip of the Obama administration’s global spear will increasingly be shaped from the ever-growing ranks of U.S. special operations forces. They are so secretive that they don’t like their operatives to be named, so covert that they instruct their members, as Spencer Ackerman of Wired’s Danger Room blog notes, “not to write down important information, lest it be vulnerable to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.” By now, they are also a force that, in any meaningful sense, is unaccountable for its actions.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS IN UNCONVENTIONAL WARFARE THEORY

Unconventional warfare is a doctrinal military term covering a wide spectrum of military and paramilitary activities, generally carried out by irregular forces. For purposes of the contemporary American resistance movement (I will forthwith refer to this “movement” as the American Constitutional Liberty Resistance, or ACLR, for lack of a better term. ARM would work, if it hadn't already been taken and misused), the term should be considered to encompass guerrilla warfare (GW), sabotage, subversion, intelligence activities, and information operations (IO) including psychological operations (PSYOPs) in support of resistance activities.

Guerrilla warfare is simply one aspect of a resistance movement's activities.

April 14th should be a national holiday, commemorating the American hero John Wilkes Booth for dispatching the tyrant lincoln

Comment on "Sic Semper Tyrannis", Proposed Motto for 2012

"His diary entry should be required reading"

Until today nothing was ever thought of sacrificing to our country's wrongs. For six months we had worked to capture, but our cause being almost lost, something decisive and great must be done. But its failure was owing to others, who did not strike for their country with a heart. I struck boldly, and not as the papers say. I walked with a firm step through a thousand of his friends, was stopped, but pushed on. A colonel was at his side. I shouted Sic semper before I fired. In jumping broke my leg.

I passed all his pickets, rode sixty miles that night with the bone of my leg tearing the flesh at every jump. I can never repent it, though we hated to kill. Our country owed all her troubles to him, and God simply made me the instrument of his punishment. The country is not what it was. This forced Union is not what I have loved. I care not what becomes of me. I have no desire to outlive my country. The night before the deed I wrote a long article and left it for one of the editors of the National Intelligencer, in which I fully set forth our reasons for our proceedings. He or the gov'r-

After being hunted like a dog through swamps, woods, and last night being chased by gunboats till I was forced to return wet, cold, and starving, with every man's hand against me, I am here in despair. And why? For doing what Brutus was honored for. What made Tell a hero? And yet I, for striking down a greater tyrant than they ever knew, am looked upon as a common cutthroat. My action was purer than either of theirs. One hoped to be great himself. The other had not only his country's but his own, wrongs to avenge. I hoped for no gain. I knew no private wrong. I struck for my country and that alone. A country that groaned beneath this tyranny, and prayed for this end, and yet now behold the cold hands they extend to me. God cannot pardon me if I have done wrong. Yet I cannot see my wrong, except in serving a degenerate people. The little, the very little, I left behind to clear my name, the Government will not allow to be printed.

So ends all. For my country I have given up all that makes life sweet and holy, brought misery upon my family, and am sure there is no pardon in the Heaven for me, since man condemns me so. I have only heard of what has been done (except what I did myself), and it fills me with horror. God, try and forgive me, and bless my mother. Tonight I will once more try the river with the intent to cross. Though I have a greater desire and almost a mind to return to Washington, and in a measure clear my name - which I feel I can do. I do not repent the blow I struck. I may before my God, but not to man. I think I have done well. Though I am abandoned, with the curse of Cain upon me, when, if the world knew my heart, that one blow would have made me great, though I did desire no greatness. Tonight I try to escape these bloodhounds once more. Who, who can read his fate? God's will be done. I have too great a soul to die like a criminal. Oh, may He, may He spare me that, and let me die bravely. I bless the entire world. Have never hated or wronged anyone. This last was not a wrong, unless God deems it so, and it's with Him to damn or bless me. As for this brave boy with me, who often prays (yes, before and since) with a true and sincere heart - was it crime in him? If so, why can he pray the same?

I do not wish to shed a drop of blood, but 'I must fight the course.' 'Tis all that's left to me.

How Ron Paul Would Effectively End Abortion In America

Via The Battle of Atlanta

"To summarize my views--I believe the federal government has a role to play," said Paul. "I believe Roe v. Wade should be repealed. I believe federal law should declare that life begins at conception. And I believe states should regulate the enforcement of this law, as they do other laws against violence."

"I don't see the value in setting up a federal police force on this issue any more than I do on other issues," Paul said. "The Fourteenth Amendment was never intended to cancel out the Tenth Amendment. This means that I can’t agree that the Fourteenth Amendment has a role to play here, or otherwise we would end up with a 'Federal Department of Abortion.' Does anyone believe that will help life? We should allow our republican system of government to function as our Founders designed it to: protect rights at the federal level, enforce laws against violence at the state level.

"As President, I will sign and aggressively advocate for a law that removes abortion from the jurisdiction of the federal courts," said Paul. "This approach, done by simple majority vote and stroke of my Presidential Pen, would effectively overturn Roe v. Wade and allow states to pass strong pro-life legislation immediately. Millions of lives would be saved by this approach while we fight to make every state a right to life state."

Black History Month Spotlight -- The National Negro Congress

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) helped rally black support for the union movement and attract new members through the National Negro Congress (NNC), a Party initiative founded in February 1935 by black communists James W. Ford and Manning Johnson, and faculty members at Howard University. The NNC replaced the League of Struggle for Negro Rights (LSNR) formed in 1930, which had followed the American Negro Labor Congress---all were subsidiaries of the CPUSA. Black communist and poet Langston Hughes was the president of the LSNR in 1934; Hughes was a recipient of the NAACP’s highest award, the Spingarn Medal.

Representing over 800 black organizations, the NNC held its first national meeting in February 1936 in Chicago. As a convergence of black socialists and communists, fellow travelers and a wide range of black personalities, the organization campaigned in favor of a federal anti-lynching bill and against racial discrimination, but the preponderance of its activities centered around bringing blacks into the labor movement and Sidney Hillman’s communist-dominated Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO). Hillman had been instrumental in delivering the communist vote to FDR in New York in his race for governor, Hillman became FDR’s labor union advisor after entering the White House in 1932.

National Negro Congress founder James W. Ford became the first black American on a presidential ticket when he was tapped as the CPUSA’s vice-presidential nominee in 1932, 1936, and 1940, running with William Z. Foster the first campaign, and Earl Browder the second and third. The NNC’s executive board selected black socialist and union organizer A. Philip Randolph to be president of the Congress. The anti-fascist NNC initially supported the Soviet Union, but foundered after the Hitler-Stalin non-aggression pact.

President's Day - Best and Worst Presidents

Borepatch
Verbatim Post

It's not a real President's birthday (Lincoln was the 12th, Washington is the 22nd), but everyone wants a day off, so sorry Abe and George, but we're taking it today. But in the spirit intended for the holiday, let me offer up Borepatch's bestest and worstest lists for Presidents.

Top Five:

#5: Calvin Coolidge

Nothing To Report is a fine epitaph for a President, in this day of unbridled expansion of Leviathan.

#4. Thomas Jefferson.

Jefferson is perhaps the last (and first) President who exercised extra-Constitutional power in a manner that was unambiguously beneficial for the Republic (the Louisiana Purchase). He repealed Adam's noxious Alien and Sedition Acts and pardoned those convicted under them.

#3. Grover Cleveland.

He didn't like the pomp and circumstance of the office, and he hated the payoffs so common then and now. He continually vetoed pork spending (including for veterans of the War Between the States), so much so that he was defeated for re-election, but unusually won a second term later. This quote is priceless (would that Latter Day Presidents rise so high), on vetoing a farm relief bill: "Federal aid in such cases encourages the expectation of paternal care on the part of the Government and weakens the sturdiness of our national character."

#2. Ronald Reagan

He at least tried to slow down the growth of Leviathan, the first President to do so in over half a century (see entry #5, above). He would have reduced it further, except that his opposition to the Soviet fascist state and determination to end it cost boatloads of cash. It also caused outrage among the home grown fascists in the Media and Universities, but was wildly popular among the general population which was (and hopefully still remains) sane.

#1. George Washington

Could have been King. Wasn't. Q.E.D.

Bottom Five:

#5. John Adams.

There's no way to read the Alien and Sedition Acts as anything other than a blatant violation of the First Amendment. It's a sad statement that the first violation of a Presidential Oath of Office was with President #2.

#4. Woodrow Wilson.

Not only did he revive the spirit of Adams' Sedition Acts, he caused a Presidential opponent to be imprisoned under the terms of his grotesque Sedition Act of 1918. He was Progressivism incarnate: he lied us into war, he jailed the anti-war opposition, he instituted a draft, and he was entirely soft-headed when it came to foreign policy. The fact that Progressives love him (and hate George W. Bush) says all you need to know about them.

#3 Lyndon Johnson.

An able legislator who was able to get bills passed without having any real idea what they would do once enacted, he is responsible for more Americans living in poverty and despair than any occupant of the White House, and that says a lot.

#2. Franklin Roosevelt.

America's Mussolini - ruling extra-Constitutionally fixing wages and prices, packing the Supreme Court, and transforming the country into a bunch of takers who would sell their votes for a trifle. At least Mussolini met an honorable end.

#1. Abraham Lincoln.

There's no doubt that the Constitution never would have been ratified if the States hadn't thought they could leave if they needed to. Lincoln saw to it that 10% of the military-age male population was killed or wounded preventing that in an extra-Constitutional debacle unequaled in the Republic's history. Along the way, he suspended Habeas Corpus, instituted the first ever draft on these shores, and jailed political opponents as he saw fit. Needless to say, Progressives adore him.

So happy President's Day. Thankfully, the recent occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue haven't gotten this bad. Yet.

Economy of Force

Economy of force doesn't mean using the bare minimum to get the job done, it means using enough to ensure the job gets done without being wasteful. As cool as it is to take out a lone bad guy with an AK with a 500 pound JDAM it isn't cost effective.

In Desert Storm the number one killer of Iraqi Tanks was not American Tanks, it was Apache Helicopters. So what did the US Army plan to do with that lesson learned? Upgrade the M1 and ensure that we had plenty of tanks on hand. Now people are saying "What?" if they are logical. Obviously if we killed more enemy tanks with helicopters we should be buying more and better helicopters right? Yup, you bet.

Until it comes time to fight in a sandstorm, or protect an armored column that rolls up into an Iraqi formation like at the Battle of 73 Easting. It isn't about having the "best" weapon, it's about having the "best mix" of weapons. Even the M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle killed more enemy tanks than the M1 Abrams in Desert Storm. Once again the rules of logic are saying that we should buy more Bradleys, right?

Anyways, trying to explain this to folks who control our budget is sometimes like explaining rocket science to a botanist. The people in power are often smart individually, but not experts in the field of warfare. Right now we have fewer experts in warfare in our civilian leadership than at any previous point. This explains some of the ham fisted diplomacy going on, and it also explains why the Defense budget is being gutted (some of which is completely necessary gutting of money pit pork projects) while rattling sabers at Iran and Syria.

But what does "economy of force" mean to four guys with rifles, pistols, and a pickup truck?

Hitler had son with French teen

Jean-Marie Loret, who died in 1985 aged 67, never met his father, but went on to fight Nazi forces during the Second World War.

His extraordinary story has now been backed up by a range of compelling evidence, both in France and in Germany, which is published in the latest edition of Paris's Le Point magazine.

Hitler is said to have had an affair with Mr Loret's mother, Charlotte Lobjoie, 16, as he took a break from the trenches in June 1917.

Although he was fighting the French near Seboncourt, in the northern Picardy region, Hitler made his way to Fournes-in-Weppe, a small town west of Lille, for regular leave.

There he met Miss Lobjoie, who later told their son: "One day I was cutting hay with other women, when we saw a German soldier on the other side of the street.

'Now it's my turn': Greenbrae man, 90, testifies about shootout with suspect

Via The Dorkfish Express

When a residential burglar fired a gun at Jay Leone last month, he was initially too angry to realize he had been shot in the head, he testified Friday.

"To tell you the truth, I never felt a thing," said Leone, 90, of Greenbrae. "I said, 'F—- you, you son of a bitch, now it's my turn.'"

Whereupon he shot five bullets at the suspect from his .38-caliber Smith & Wesson snubnose revolver, hitting the burglar three times in the abdomen. A scuffle ensued between the wounded men.

"Then he took the gun and put it to my head — click!" said Leone, who knew there were no bullets left in the gun. "And that was the end of that. He ran away."

2nd N.C. Mother Says Daughter’s School Lunch Replaced for Not Being Healthy Enough

Via Milton Wolf

North Carolina officials have said there was a misunderstanding when a preschooler’s homemade lunch was sent home for not meeting certain nutritional requirements, but now a second mother from the same school has come forward exclusively to The Blaze to say the same thing happened to her daughter.

Diane Zambrano says her 4-year-old daughter, Jazlyn, is in the same West Hoke Elementary School class as the little girl whose lunch gained national attention earlier this week. When Zambrano picked Jazlyn up from school late last month, she was told by Jazlyn’s teacher that the lunch she had packed that day did not meet the necessary guidelines and that Jazlyn had been sent to the cafeteria.

The lunch Zambrano packed for her daughter? A cheese and salami sandwich on a wheat bun with apple juice. The lunch she got in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets, a sweet potato, bread and milk.

“She never eats breakfast or lunch at the school,” Zambrano said of her daughter during an interview with The Blaze. “We always wake up early and make her lunch.”

Obama Gestapo Arrests Group for Praying in Front of White House

Occupy Washington protesters have been camping on US Park Service property for the past four months. They littered and trashed the park. They urinated and defecated all over it. They even defaced public property and nearby buildings.

But few arrests were ever made.

However, let a group of six religious leaders kneel and pray in front of the White House, only to have Obama’s Gestapo-like US Park Police swoop down like vultures on a fresh kill and carry the men off to jail. From being on their knees in front of the presidential palace, the peaceful protesters were charged with failure to obey a lawful order. After being booked, they each paid a fine of $100 and then were released.

Father Wilde of Priests for Life and Rev Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition organized the prayer meeting in front of the White House to follow up on the lawsuit that Priests for Life filed against the Obama administration to put a stop to the contraceptive mandate.

Speaking to a reporter, Father Wilde said,

"...Isn't it odd that a nation built on the concept of protecting the individual has found so many ways to attack them?"

No not at all. It makes perfect sense. After all, in light of the rule of law, it is the only method of supplanting republican form of government with tyranny. It certainly has worked to a very high degree to date.

In fact, outside of full blown overt outright police state/Marshal law being instituted and implemented, there is really was no other viable method in our time and circumstances that could be effective in undermining our Liberty with the subsequent results of a coup of this here constitutional Republic from the inside out.

Consider the truth. We live under a system of rule and indenture, where we who observe the rule of law, who pay the bills, keep by our very own examples of decency and conscience, the entire leviathan together. It is our faith, belief in something larger, grander, better than ourselves, that which makes us the great society we are, that this is all that stands in the way of the hordes and their elites. The inherent power of the sovereign contained in this reality is something that must be understood. It must be.

Understanding this truth is the sprout of recourse that grows into the tree of Liberty.

Which in all if you give it a good think, unquestionably leaves it to ourselves to redress such crimes of tyranny and restore Liberty virtue and principle as the driving force in our lives culture and government.

There are certainly none who is coming to our rescue. We of the people have been left out to hang in the breeze. It is to ourselves we must look and depend on. Look inward, but look outward also. It is this that we must come to terms with.

The details of tyranny do not matter any longer. It is here, it exists in every facet of our lives. It is understanding the choices before us. I think many have made the choice of what they will, can, or are doing, on a gut level, an instinctual plane. It is understanding this choice that is the crux of our Liberty and the restoration of it.

========

This statement of truth below is paramount to understanding something profound about us as a people of Liberty:

It is not ours to restore the power of the Constitution. It is ours to show them the wrath of America without the protections the Constitution offers them.

Let them restore it to find refuge from us.

– TL Davis
Aside from the fact it is the defining statement of our time, it defines the profound nature of who and what we are. There is inherent in this, the understanding of those choices we have before us.

The Tyranny breathing down our throats is like a leech. And like a leech, killing its host is not in its best interest. The idea for the leech is to get its host used to being almost bled dry, leaving just enough blood for its victim to keep up the supply of sustenance the leech can not function without.
For the leech the key here is keeping its victim from the truth, the truth the victim does not need the leech. It is the exact opposite. But shhhhh! don't tell the host that.

Its like the protections of The Constitution.

What protections?

Where are the men of America?

Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God

Via NC Renegade

What will it take for Americans to understand how perilously close we are to permanently losing our country and way of life? Where are the real men and where is the real American spirit? As a patriotic American who believes in the rights bestowed from our Creator and enumerated by our Constitution and Bill of Rights, I am calling on all men to take a stand and hold our elected officials accountable for their direct assault on our Constitution or their complicity in the same.

If that makes me a “domestic extremist” by definition of “Big Sis” Janet Napolitano and the DHS, I enthusiastically embrace that description.

The consequences of not fulfilling our duties as men, as Americans, and as protectors of our families and country will be more severe than anyone appears able to comprehend. The parallels between Nazi Germany under Hitler to present day America are frighteningly real, yet few men in America appear to be concerned.

If we fail to take a stand now, what makes anyone think we will have that ability in the immediate future? If it is us who fail to act, what can we expect from a generation brainwashed by revisionist history and influenced by the progressive media?
