Who could have thought that in 2012 young people in Moscow would put on a "flash mob", dancing to an 83 year old American song written by a Russian born American/Jew (Irving Berlin) whose last name is the capital of Germany?:)

In what was thought to be the aftermath of the Zimmerman-Trayvon episode, there was a solid, if perhaps, premature, column from Matt Parrot, which noted:
Even if White Americans did want to feel guilty about the death of Trayvon Martin, the guy who shot him isn’t even White. George Zimmerman is of Peruvian descent, votes Democrat, mentors Black youth in his spare time, and is an anti-racist activist…For us, the most important and exciting development was the effectiveness with which Kyle Rogers of the Council of Conservative Citizens, Hunter Wallace of Occidental Dissent, Nicholas Stix (Jewish) of VDare, and others from across the movement effectively subverted and scooped the lumbering and lazy media conglomerates at every turn. The mainstream media kept lying, and our people kept catching and exposing them.
But alas, the story is only just beginning.
The Republican Governor of Florida—that hotbed swing state—appointed a special prosecutor, Republican Angela Corey, to replace the local prosecutor who originally handled the death of Trayvon Martin and did not press charges.
Republican Angela Corey is moving forward with 2nd Degree Murder charges.
In the background, Presidential aspirant (then aspirant) Rick Santorum sided against Zimmerman and with the mob. Alleged Tea Party Congressman, Allen West, sided with the mob against Zimmerman. And most recently in the news as far as this web site is concerned, Rich Lowry sided with Sharpton and the mob.
It’s clear that this is a political prosecution of Zimmerman, or rather, a witch hunt, based on discredited political calculus that pleasing the mob, will get the mob to vote Republican.
But circle back to Zimmerman’s original defenders, the ones who will remain his defenders.
A sense of justice, or at the minimum, the old concept of a fair trial, perhaps does triumph other considerations—an ethic evolves.
Zimmerman is going to be railroaded, in some post-modern combination of the Dreyfus Affair, ‘To Kill a Mocking Bird’, and Bob Dylan’s (born Zimmerman) misleading account of a song, Hurricane.
Stay tuned…
I saw on Twitter that the Martin family held a press conference with Al Sharpton by their side, but I didn’t get to see it. Although Zimmerman now is charged, and the case is in the courts, I expect the Martin family attorneys, Sharpton, and others continue to work the case in the media from a racial angle and to inflame passions in the community as a means of tainting the jury pool.
For the prosecutor to embrace the Martin family attorneys with thanks at the press conference, and for AG Eric Holder verbally to praise Sharpton today, tells me that a case which should be about facts of who did what to whom is going to turn into an even bigger racial narrative for a variety of purposes which have noting to do with the guilt or innocence of the accused..
George Zimmerman is now in custody charged with second-degree murder in connection with the February shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
Special prosecutor Angela Corey, a Florida state attorney, made the announcement at a news conference this evening.
Corey said Zimmerman, a neighborhood-watch-commander who claims he fired in self-defense, turned himself in.
“I will confirm that Mr. Zimmerman is indeed in custody,” Corey said.
But she refused to state exactly where Zimmerman was being held, out of concern for the suspect’s safety.

This happened despite the fact that one member of the delegation had been implicated – though not charged – in a U.S. child pornography investigation, the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has learned.

Some possible good news from western Pennsylvania — thanks to continued pressure from patriotic citizens, a ban on the Erie Tea Party participating in the annual Millcreek Fourth of July parade may be reversed:
Millcreek resident Lou Aliota, a participant in the group, said it has been denied entry into the parade. The issue resurfaced Tuesday when Aliota asked some questions during the Millcreek supervisors’ meeting.
Bob MacIsaac, parade committee chairman, didn’t attend the meeting but said later that the volunteer committee is still weighing a decision.
MacIsaac said he initially responded that the parade does not allow political parties or candidates seeking election. But MacIsaac said members of the committee have talked, and they are reconsidering.
“They’re not registered as a political party, like Democrats or Republicans. So, there’s some gray area there, as to what they are,” he said.
That’s very broadminded, considering the radical nature of the Erie Tea Party:
Aliota said in an e-mail to Supervisor Joseph Kujawa that the tea party parade float honors the military and those who have died defending the country. The party distributes U.S. Constitution booklets and provides literature on the Founding Fathers and the group’s values and principles.
Meanwhile, overtly political militants pressing for the mainstreaming of homosexual depravity have had no problem getting permission to take part in this same parade. Local bureauweenies must find their agenda more compatible with Fourth of July festivities.
Too controversial for the Fourth of July?Most of us have heard about how the media won’t report on black-on-white crime. We also may know that authorities sometimes sweep it under the rug due to political pressure, usually with a wink and a nod. But not so in rural Alabama, where the police actually told a white crime victim that they “don’t mess” with a local black motorcycle gang.
The tragic event that led to this shocking admission occurred on March 28, as truck driver Nick Stokes and neighbor Johnathan Cooper were heading out of Birmingham hauling a portable cabin. While rounding a curve, one of Stokes’ tires slipped and kicked up some gravel, which angered a black motorcycle-gang member who was in close proximity. The gangster – part of the notorious “Outcasts of Alabama” – gave chase and tried to force Stokes to pull over to the side of the road. Here’s what happened next, as reported by the Macon Beacon’s Scott Boyd, whose piece has been published online by J. Christian Adams:

Should have listened to your lawyers.
Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.
It was not immediately clear what charge Zimmerman will face.
Martin, 17 and unarmed, was shot and killed Feb. 26 by Zimmerman, who said he was acting in self-defense. Police in Sanford, Fla., where the shooting took place, did not charge Zimmerman, citing the state’s “stand your ground” law.
Corey’s office released a statement saying it would hold a news conference “to release new information regarding the Trayvon Martin shooting death investigation” at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Jacksonville, Fla.

What's the best armament for drones? Smart bullets and micro-missiles.
Simply: extremely small devices that are smart enough to guide themselves to their targets.
In the case of the smart bullet, like the one currently being developed by Sandia Labs (video) guides itself to the target using fins + actuators. The current prototype uses a smooth bore, travels at 2,400 fps, and hits within 8" of its target at 1 mile. Here's a picture of one taken at night with an LED attached.

A federal appeals court has rejected claims by passengers and pilots that the TSA invaded their privacy and violated their rights by demanding pat-down inspections or full-body scans.
The decision affirms a district court ruling from Judge Henry H. Kennedy Jr., who cited a “secret” order from the TSA as the reason he rejected the cases.
The government, insisting that the “secret” order contains “sensitive security information,” has refused to make public the document outlining the procedures, according to John Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute.
Institute attorneys had argued that since the TSA “order” has remained “secret,” there has been no opportunity for the public to comment on it, and “passengers and pilots are not only being deprived of their Fourth Amendment rights, but also their due process right to a fair hearing on their challenge to the secret TSA policy.”
Whitehead said today the ruling is a dark cloud.
“This ruling does not bode well for attempts to ensure transparency in government or efforts to safeguard Americans against virtual strip searches and other excessive groping of our bodies by government agents, especially when there’s no suspicion of wrongdoing,” he said.
“When civil liberties are tossed out the window – by government agents or by the courts – we all lose. No American should be forced to undergo a virtual strip search or be subjected to such excessive groping of the body as a matter of course in reporting to work or boarding an airplane when there is no suspicion of wrongdoing,” heOn the campaign trail in 2008, Barack Obama was charismatic and sold himself well. Unfortunately, he also sold out his country.
In modern political history there has scarcely been a politician who promises so many things, then does precisely the opposite. I agree with everything Obama says and nothing he does.
Obama is the man everyone hopes to hear on the campaign trail and the man everyone should hope to never see reelected. Obama could not be more correct in his astute assessments that our foreign wars are a blight, our courts are a dictatorial disgrace, and our economic system is in mortal peril.

I watched this pitiful, I mean PITIFUL, press conference. It was a disgrace to unbiased justice. It was a political theater from the VERY fist sentence. I was ashamed of the predestined implied conclusions of the "state" prosecutor.
While I, myself, have reservations about the preconceived conclusions of this predestined theater it "IS" a fore gone conclusion that a conviction has been determined to head off a vast racial armada of vigilantes, in the spirit of union strikes, has determined that holding the nation hostage to racial bias.
As though we have never seen this EXACT same thing before from black radicals.
It's clear, there "IS" no resolution here. I mean for the underlying racial hatred. Not for the justice aspect.

Corey; is falling for politic's and not justice. At most it could be considered manslaughter, 2nd degree murder is crazy at best. The left and the slaves on the plantation are running this country and it time it stopped befor it's too late. If Zimmerman is found innocent, watch the riots by the stupid slaves of the plantation along with thier master, Al, Jesse and Obozo. They only know violence and it will show itself or Zimmerman will be railroaded to appease the left and thier slaves on plantation
========
It is impossible for Zimmerman to get a fair trial in America today !!!!!! Thank you "liberal media" !!!!
========
Don't charge because of public pressure?? Since when!
========
Anybody else think the charges are solely because of public (primarily "racial") pressure?
========
You can bet your bottem dollar this is the reason !! If Zimmerman was the victim you would never have heard of it !!!!!!!
========
And when he is found not guilty as he will be the blacks will try to burn down Sanford. Mark my words this is coming in spades....pun intended.
