Goodies from Ol' Remus
Y'think they're in it together? - Immediately de-fund
100% until and unless Napolitano answers their questions, in full and
in public... If The House does not do so then despite the bluster of a
few of their members they are the ones soliciting the billion+ rounds of
ammunition intended to be used to execute Americans and the
responsibility rests jointly and severably with each and every member of
The House of Representatives.
Remus says - Military analysts
pretty much agree Japan lost the war in the Pacific because they were
playing chess while we were playing checkers. Overthinking all but
guarantees failure. Engineers will tell you complexity increases as the
square of the subsystems involved, or near enough, something
survivalists should keep in mind when they attempt to replicate their
'normal' life. And no, being a nice, deserving person with good
intentions won't make failure modes go away.
Big government bastardizes the original intent of the founders, who
formed a small subservient central federal structure to fulfill one
purpose – as a protector of the natural freedoms of the population. The
federal system was never meant to have any domestic power beyond this
task, nor should it. Today, as we have shown over and over again, the
centralized political behemoth we live under is absolutely unnecessary
and completely destructive to the freedom and prosperity of the culture
it was originally tasked to defend.
Kansas -
At Blue Steel Guns & Ammunition in Raytown, the ammo truck rolls
into the parking lot on Fridays. Last week, a crowd of customers was
waiting for the shipment, and all 60 boxes of .22-caliber and 9 mm
ammunition were gone in 18 minutes... "We are sold out for 2013," said
David Shaw, marketing director for Fiocchi, an international ammunition
manufacturer. Fiocchi added an extra shift to increase production, but
Shaw said the plant can't get in front of the demand, says Mara Williams
in this article at the Kansas City Star.
The skeletal remains of an individual living in northern Italy 40,000
to 30,000 years ago are believed to be that of a human-Neanderthal
hybrid. If further analysis proves the theory correct, the remains
belonged to the first known such hybrid, providing direct evidence that
humans and Neanderthals interbred, says Jennifer Viegas in this article
at Discovery News. Also see this article at Daily Galaxy .
To what will the people of Cyprus turn when they revolt against the
corruption they enjoyed for so long? They won't turn to the wisdom of
our founders because they've long ago thrown them off as mere dead white
men. No, they will simply seek another despot that will promise more of
what they really want: bread and circuses.
Capital controls -
No way Apple is going to sell ipods in Cyprus if they cannot at some
point repatriate their profits... If I can't export money, I might
instead buy jets, fly them out of the country, and then sell the jets.
Unconscious, underage girl was to blame for gang rape - The former president of the Steubenville chapter of the
places the blame for the rape case that has shocked the nation on the
16-year-old victim. Royal Mayo, a lifelong resident of the Ohio city
that gained national infamy following the rape of the girl by two
Steubenville High School football players, says that attention should be
focused on the role of the young woman, whom he calls the "alleged
victim."
Paternalistic government never works, always overreaches, and will take
away as much of our freedom as it can possibly get away with —
cost-benefit analysis be damned. It is not about making the lives of
people better. It is not about helping them make better decisions. It is
not about anything good, or compassionate, or worthy or liberal. It is
about control.
Va Flaggers Update 4-2-2013: Museum of the Confederacy
Over the weekend, The MUSEUM OF THE CONFEDERACY celebrated the one year anniversary of REFUSING to fly a CONFEDERATE FLAG on the grounds of its Appomattox museum...
“Appomattox is a metaphor for the reunification of the country,” Museum of the Confederacy director Waite Rawls told the Richmond Times-Dispatch. “To put the Confederate flag into that display would be a historical untruth.”
http://blogs.artinfo.com/
...AND recently announced that ULYSSES S. GRANT was voted "Person of the Year" for 1863 at its symposium...
www.c-spanvideo.org/program/
"Who would Time have selected as the Person of the Year 1863? The Museum of the Confederacy and the Library of Virginia considered that question by inviting five historians to nominate someone for the title. Before the audience cast their votes for Person of the Year 1863, each historian presented an argument for their nominee and responded to questions from the audience.
*** The audience voted Ulysses S. Grant as Person of the Year 1863. ***
Professor Edward Ayers nominated U.S. Colored Troops; Professor Joseph Glatthaar nominated Ulysses S. Grant; Historian Robert Krick nominated “Stonewall” Jackson; Professor Thomas Sebrell nominated John Russell; and Professor Jennifer Weber nominated Clement Vallandigham.
...
The Museum of the Confederacy’s 2013 Symposium was held on February 23, 2013 at the Library of Virginia."
Many individuals and SCV Camps have cancelled their memberships and let Museum of the Confederacy officials know WHY, but hundreds more STILL support those who apparently would join the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the NAACP, and other groups in calling for the removal of the flag of our ancestors from public display.
Are YOU mad enough yet?
Boycott the museum. Cancel your membership. Tell museum officials you will not support a Museum of the Confederacy that is too ashamed to fly the Battle Flag of the Confederate soldier.

Why do bullies pick on cowards?
Because no matter how much they punch, insult, and shame them, cowards won't punch back. They just take it.
All bullies are tyrants, and all tyrants are arrogant. Our reigning tyrants, like Ben Bernanke & Mario Draghi, believe they are Masters of the Universe because no matter how often the punch, insult, and rob their docile victims in America & Europe, the victims just keep on taking it. The tyrants are convinced they can steal from y'all all they want, print money till a pack of gum costs $9,000, and you all will never punch back, never object you'll just wipe the gobs of spit off your face and call it dew And if you dare to object, dare to take to the streets, they'll turn their police thugs on you and teach you not to punch back at bullies.
One of these days y'all will catch on, and y'all will pound those bullies into the pavement. I just want to be a fly on the wall, watching, when y'all finally admit it's spit.
Georgia Baby Shooting Update: James Henry Brooks, Brunswick city official, arrested for obstruction and influencing a witness
Via Ol' Remus
A Georgia city official was arrested Thursday on charges of obstructing enforcement and influencing a witness in the case involving the fatal shooting of a one-year-old boy.
An attorney for Brunswick city commissioner and mayor pro tem James Henry Brooks told WTLF-TV that his client was arrested for stepping between police and Karimah Elkins, the mother of 17-year-old suspect De'Marquise Elkins, when police tried speaking with her during a court appearance Monday.
Karimah Elkins and De'Marquise's older sister, Sabrina Elkins, were charged with evidence tampering. The indictment says they threw the revolver that police suspect was used in the shooting into a saltwater pond where investigators recovered it Tuesday.
Karimah Elkins and the suspect's aunt, Katrina Elkins, were also charged with making false statements to police.

GOA: Gun Control can be Passed Only If Republicans Sell Out
Tell them Gun Owners oppose "universal" background checks
We realize that you have been receiving several emails from Gun Owners of America in recent days. And while we apologize for filling your inbox so frequently, we hope you realize that we are in an all-out fight to stop Congress from infringing upon our liberties.“Gun-control measures that seemed destined to become law after the school shootings in Newtown, Conn., are in jeopardy amid a fierce lobbying campaign by firearms advocates.”
- The Washington Post, April 1, 2013
Your activism is making a difference, but we need to keep the pressure on!
As so, as we approach “gun control Armageddon” next week, we are faced, not surprisingly, with “sell-outs and rumors of sell-outs.”
But we can conclude that all gun control will die UNLESS Republicans flinch. And this is why, now that anti-gun Senator Chuck Schumer is on the verge of a humiliating defeat, he’s scrambling for some feckless Republican who will help him turn GOP victory into GOP defeat.
Anti-gun columnist Ruth Marcus spoke for Schumer last Wednesday morning when she suggested that, as a desperation measure, anti-gunners might have to drop recordkeeping from the universal registry bill.
But even if ALL recordkeeping were dropped, which is doubtful, background checks would mean that:
- Americans would still have to get the government’s permission to own a firearm from whatever source.
- Americans in rural areas without access to the Internet could be barred from gun ownership.
- The Brady Check system would break down on weekends even more often than it currently does.
- Eight percent of all applicants would still be illegally denied the right to purchase firearms through “false negatives.”
- Schumer would still claim that he “broke the back of the gun lobby.”
- The universal registry bill would still be nothing but a vehicle for consideration of other gun control now - and a platform for gun control demands in the future.
ACTION: Click here to contact your Senators. Demand they support the Paul-Cruz-Lee filibuster and oppose the motion to proceed to any gun control vehicle.
The system will automatically select a pre-written editable response, depending upon whether your Senator is a Republican or Democrat.
UN Passes Sweeping Gun Control Measure
The United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday signed off on a sweeping, first-of-its-kind treaty to regulate the international arms trade, brushing aside worries from U.S. gun rights advocates that the pact could lead to a national firearms registry and disrupt the American gun market.
The long-debated U.N. Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) requires countries to regulate and control the export of weaponry such as battle tanks, combat vehicles and aircraft and attack helicopters, as well as parts and ammunition for such weapons. It also provides that signatories will not violate arms embargoes, international treaties regarding illicit trafficking, or sell weaponry to a countries for genocide, crimes against humanity or other war crimes.
With the Obama administration supporting the final treaty draft, the General Assembly vote was 154 to 3, with 23 abstentions.
American gun rights activists, though, insist the treaty is riddled with loopholes and is unworkable in part because it includes “small arms and light weapons” in its list of weaponry subject to international regulations. They do not trust U.N. assertions that the pact is meant to regulate only cross-border trade and would have no impact on domestic U.S. laws and markets.
Critics of the treaty were heartened by the U.S. Senate’s resistance to ratifying the document, assuming President Obama sent it to the chamber for ratification.

Stop the Federal Power Grab of Our Elections
No fewer than five bills to increase federal control over American elections have been filed in the 113th Congress. The Obama administration has appointed a bipartisan presidential commission supposedly for the purpose of streamlining election procedures and reducing the long lines. However, even a cursory review of the bills already proposed reveals that passage of these bills would enable an unconstitutional federal power grab over American elections accompanied by drastic reductions in the safeguards against electoral fraud that remain in at least some of the states.
The bills submitted so far are:
- H.R. 50 – Streamlined and Improved Methods at Polling Locations and Early Voting Act of 2013 (SIMPLE)
- H.R. 280 – Same Day Registration Act of 2013
- H.R. 281 – Voter Access Protection Act of 2013
- H.R. 289 – Value Our Time Elections Act of 2013 (VOTE)
- S. 9 – Clean and Fair Elections Act
The Founding Fathers of our republic knew how dangerous to freedom centralized control over elections would be. But they also feared opponents of the proposed U.S. Constitution might try to undermine the new form of government by failing to call elections. That’s why they put a provision in Article I, Section 4 saying Congress may alter the states’ voting laws. The purpose of this grant of power was explained in Federalist Paper #59 as only to be used to address specific extraordinary situations and would be temporary. Further confirmation of this explanation can be inferred by its placement in Article I, Section 4 and using the word “may.” The ongoing permanent powers for Congress are granted in Article I, Section 8 using the word “shall” in listing those powers under the phrase “Congress shall have the Power To.”
History has proved the dangers of centralized control over a country’s elections. Witness those of modern-day, third world dictatorships or those of an earlier day in Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. United States Ambassador Arthur Bliss Lane documented the fraud in the Polish election in 1947 where he quoted reliable estimates that 60 percent of the Polish voters voted for the Polish Peasant Party and its freedom agenda, but that the Stalin-controlled, centralized elections bureaucrats counted the votes behind closed doors and declared the Communists the winners.
We urge contact with members of Congress to alert them of this danger and ask them to pledge to block the dangerous centralized control over our elections that would be enabled by the five bills mentioned above. The ability for us to cast our ballots in free and unfettered elections is at stake.
Click here to send a message to your representative and senators to alert them to this danger and to request that they block this legislation.
Thanks.

Nightfall: "They'll ensure future trials have high production values."
VERBATIM
The game's afoot. We're hearing less of what will happen and more of what is
happening. The hour isn't late, it's here. Predictions are giving way
to dispatches and alerts. Some of those who forewarned this day are
falling, or being felled, at their post. Others are decamping, weary of
being hectored, or in fear of the star chamber's
chart.
As noted in Woodpile Report 310, Lawrence Auster at View From the Right
had "pancreatic cancer which has now spread to the brain and spine, and
with me being taken care of because I'm too weak and sick to care for
myself, and with the doctors telling me I have three or maybe six months
to live." He passed away the 29th of March ,
may he rest in peace. Add to Mr. Auster's passing the sudden and
suspicious death of Andrew Breitbart, and the two public experts on
weaponry murdered outright.
Francis Porretto, formerly at Liberty's Torch
said, "I'm calling it quits. I'm an old man, and not a well one. I'd
like some peace for the conclusion of my life... It appears that the
only way I can acquire those things is to cease to write these op-eds."
And so he has. Mike Vanderboegh at Sipsey Street Irregulars , the venue of choice for leakers at the ,
the man instrumental in bringing the Fast and Furious scandal to
light, is posting irregularly, citing ongoing health problems. And
well respected and oft-quoted blogger [Friend Of a Friend Of Another] appended this note to his article of March 12th, Checkmate 2 - Slow History ,
"One day this blog will end with little or no notice... One day I will
grow tired of doing this, or perhaps I will find a better use of my
time."
More ominously, in his March 26th article, When the Watchmen Go Silent , John Galt at Shenandoah
said, "Their voices limited, terminated, or no longer heard for
self-preservation purposes. When the Watchmen go silent there is no
tomorrow... Yet in the end, those who heeded the word of the Watchmen
will survive, will thrive, and will save our world to restart
civilization anew. Until that time, the Watchmen will fade into history,
blamed for the failures of others and thriving in the darkness which
has fallen. I sincerely hope many have paid heed to these warnings as
dusk envelops us all... The voices of freedom are about to go silent."
See the Book of Ezekiel for the duties of a Watchman and why John Galt
chose that term.
Again, John Galt's words: "the Watchmen will soon go quiet. Their voices limited, terminated, or no longer heard for self-preservation purposes... The voices of freedom are about to go silent."
Night is falling. The birds are
roosting, the hyenas are out, yet there are still those innocents who
believe the fast-departing sunny afternoon will return momentarily. All
during the long twilight, those who know different, who've seen
different, have said all they can say. They're weary and talked out.
They've told you who and what your adversaries are. They've told you to
have a clear-eyed, sober grip on who and what you are. Your
intentions count only in the doing. There'll be no time outs or second
chances, no shortcuts or gimmicks, no turning your head away.
Wherever we look now, leadership are realizing that the limits of fiscal and monetary policy have been reached and now changing rules, limiting freedom, and outright confiscation are the only way to maintain a status quo.
In Woodpile Report 312, Remus said, "if
you wonder what a catastrophic collapse looks like, look around." Then
he described the fast-approaching formal repudiation of the Republic and
outlined what to expect at the onset of martial law, saying, "this is
the orderly part, the part that takes the trouble to appear legal.
Compared to what follows it's almost cordial and gentlemanly. For those
who stay away from crowds, this part is doable."
Overt police states invite "politics by other means". The Resistance-minded believe
's Einsatzgruppen can be defeated by the populace with means on hand, or with 's
own equipment and resources if need be. Perhaps. History is
unconvincing one way or the other, main force allies intervene and
repeatedly leave the question unresolved. Those few stand-alone examples
as exist largely cancel each other in terms of results, the Warsaw
Uprising of 1944 as versus
Josip
Tito in Yugoslavia, for two. It's also not a given Resistance movements
of the past translate well to a continental, first-world country in the
21st century. But it's not a given the 21st century will be any less
'interesting' than the 20th either. So, no help there.
Remus also told you martial law will be widely
seen as a coup de' tate, bringing about internal fracturing in addition
to external insurrection. Partisans will do as partisans do, lighting
up the night sky with sabotage, ambushing armored vehicle crews on
their tea-and-pee break, offing Big Name pols in public places, and the
like, when they're not defecting or fighting each other that is. But
moles will be at least as busy as the partisans and as significant,
perhaps by retargeting those Wonder Weapons we can't seem to hear enough
about, or reprogramming selected natural gas lines to self-destruct, or
arranging friendly fire meetups for the black hats. Remus also told you
you're up against people who will watch the battles from afar, shoot
the survivors and pocket the spoils. Whatever else it may be, it will
not be neat and orderly, events will twist and turn in surprising ways,
although crowds will always offer the best return for the ordnance
dollar.
Once le déluge begins, storm warnings
lose their value. Duh. Many of those who warned of this day are
slipping out the side door, some feet first, but most "for health
reasons" or "to spend more time with family". Or "fear". They're off
to "pursue other opportunities". Upgrading their motion-detector array
at Galt's Gulch, say. Some still attend to their self-appointed duties;
documenting events, collecting evidence, keeping a list of who's been
naughty or nice. They'll ensure future trials have high production
values. Last time it was paper documents and testimony of witnesses with
a sprinkling of crappy photos. Downright Dickensian. This time the
miscreants will be prosecuted by their own words, captured digitally, as
will be their crimes and outrages in high-def video. Whatever
ambiguities remain, guilt will not be among them.
Carson: White Liberals the Most Racist
Dr. Ben Carson on Tuesday accused critics of his stance on gay marriage of trying to completely shut down debate on the issue and called his white liberal critics “the most racist out there.”
In an appearance on the Mark Levin radio show, Carson said he represents an existential threat to gay marriage proponents, which is why attacks on his stance against gay marriage have been so vicious.
“They need to shut me up, they need to get rid of me. They can’t find anything else to delegitimize me, so they take my words, misinterpret them, and try to make it seem that I’m a bigot,” he said.
After Levin asked him about white liberals, Carson, who is black, said, “They’re the most racist people there are because they put you in a little category, a box. How could you dare come off the plantation?”

Marlin Firearms Closes In North Haven, Ending 141 Years Of Manufacturing In Connecticut
Via avordvet
A half-dozen workers were in otherwise empty offices Friday at The Marlin Firearms Co. as the company wound down 141 years of manufacturing in Connecticut.
A security phone at the visitor's gate was unattended next to a large barren parking lot off Bailey Road near I-91. A reception room that resembles a ski lodge, complete with a fireplace, was dark. The few people left working Friday declined to comment, but one employee said there were six people inside and that Friday was their last day of work.
Marlin was acquired in 2008 by Remington Arms Co. Inc., which is a subsidiary of Freedom Group Co. of Madison, N.C. Three years ago, Marlin employed 345 people at its headquarters in North Haven and 225 in Gardner, Mass., at the former Harrington and Richardson plant that Marlin had acquired.
"I think it's a huge loss," said Larry Lazaroff, co-owner of Arnold's Jewelers, a longtime local business in the North Haven Shopping Center.
He cited Pratt & Whitney closing its North Haven plant in 1993, saying that the loss of any major employer reduces the customer base for local businesses.
Remington said in March 2010 that it would close the North Haven Marlin plant, which had 265 employees at that point. The company has been at its 225,000-square-foot facility on a 23-acre site in North Haven since 1968. Before that, it was on Willow Street in New Haven.
Marlin was founded when John M. Marlin left Colt in 1870 and started manufacturing his own line of revolvers and derringers. In 1924, Frank Kenna, an attorney, bought the company at auction and the Kenna family owned Marlin until its sale to Remington.
Marlin was the rifle of choice for famous sharpshooter Annie Oakley, who was in William "Buffalo Bill" Cody's circus.

PolitiChicks Proudly Stands By Dr. Gina Loudon & Family
When you’re given immense gifts in life, very few people know how to use them to their fullest extent. Vincent Van Gogh was a brilliant artist but he never understood how to market and sell his work; as a result, he died penniless, having sold only one of his paintings during his lifetime. Child prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart also died broke, never experiencing the benefits of his genius.
Perhaps out of fear, laziness, or indifference, many people born with such gifts either ignore them or underutilize them.
My friend and patriot warrior friend (and PolitiChick co-anchor) Dr. Gina Loudon knows how to use her gifts.
Gina has been on the front lines fighting for all of us much longer than most activists. She was one of the founders of the Tea Party movement, and she was also instrumental in starting the “Buycott Arizona” program in support of Gov. Brewer’s fight with the DOJ over illegal immigration.
For many years, Gina has been a powerful speaker at Tea Party rallies and conservative events across the United States, along with being a best-selling author and the very popular radio host of the Dr. Gina Show. Gina has also proven to be a fearlessly loyal friend. After former Missouri Congressman Todd Akin made his unfortunate “legitimate rape” comment and was virtually run over by the GOP bus, Gina got on another bus—along with Gov. Mike Huckabee and others—and campaigned across Missouri for Rep. Akin.

Oregon Women Fends Off Attacker with Handgun
Joe Biden and the Left (some recently in Colorado) have been spouting ridiculous tips to repel attackers–fire your double-gauge in the air, wet your pants, tell the perp it’s “that time of month.”
All of these bizarre and inane suggestions are made to avoid the one method of self-defense that actually works: concealed carry hand guns aimed, and if need be, fired to stop agressors.Sunday night, March 31st, at 10:21 PM Pacific in Oregon City, Oregon, a 22 year old woman was attacked after having parked her car near the intersection of 8th St and JQ Adams St.
The male assailant approached the victim from behind, grabbed her ponytail, and drug her backwards until the young woman was able to grip her legally-owned, conceal carry handgun and turn it on the man, who fled on foot.

"How will they register a magazine?"
With an announcement of sweeping proposals to curb gun violence, Connecticut lawmakers said they are hoping to send a message to Congress and other state legislators across the country: A bipartisan agreement on gun control is possible. Legislative leaders on Monday revealed proposals spurred by the Dec. 14 Newtown school shooting following weeks of bipartisan, closed-door negotiations. A vote is expected Wednesday in the General Assembly, where Democrats control both chambers, making passage all but assured.
"Democrats and Republicans were able to come to an agreement on a strong, comprehensive bill," said Senate President Donald E. Williams Jr., a Democrat from Brooklyn, who called the proposed legislation the strongest, most comprehensive bill in the country. "That is a message that should resound in 49 other states and in Washington, D.C. And the message is: We can get it done here and they should get it done in their respective states and nationally in Congress."
The massacre reignited the gun debate in the country and led to calls for increased gun control legislation on the federal and state levels. While some other states, including neighboring New York, have strengthened their gun laws, momentum has stalled in Congress, whose members were urged by President Barack Obama last week not to forget the shooting and to capitalize on the best chance in years to stem gun violence.

After reading Seven Antibiotics to Stockpile and Why, readers have asked what dose of antibiotics to stockpile. As a general rule, I suggest that you not request multiple strengths of a single medicine, as few if any doctors would agree to this.
Here are my recommendations for the most appropriate doses of common antibiotics to stockpile and why.
1. Amoxicillin – Many pharmacies offer the 250 and 500 mg capsules at the same unit price. Amoxicillin tablets are also available, but may cost somewhat more than the capsules, depending on the pharmacy. Amoxicillin tablets may be split more easily (than the powder in the capsules can be divided) to provide a lower dose if needed for children or small adults. (Babies are usually administered a reconstituted powder, but few pediatricians would prescribe this for stockpiling.) The best single option is amoxicillin 500 mg tablets (or capsules).

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving as a platoon sergeant in Company B, in action against enemy aggressor forces. Immediately rallying the men in his area after a fanatical and numerically superior enemy force penetrated the center of the line under cover of darkness and pinned down the platoon with a devastating barrage of deadly automatic weapons and grenade fire, S/Sgt. Van Winkle boldly spearheaded a determined attack through withering fire against hostile frontal positions and, though he and all the others who charged with him were wounded, succeeded in enabling his platoon to gain the fire superiority and the opportunity to reorganize.
Realizing that the left flank squad was isolated from the rest of the unit, he rushed through 40 yards of fierce enemy fire to reunite his troops despite an elbow wound which rendered 1 of his arms totally useless. Severely wounded a second time when a direct hit in the chest from a hostile hand grenade caused serious and painful wounds, he staunchly refused evacuation and continued to shout orders and words of encouragement to his depleted and battered platoon. Finally carried from his position unconscious from shock and from loss of blood, S/Sgt. Van Winkle served to inspire all who observed him to heroic efforts in successfully repulsing the enemy attack. His superb leadership, valiant fighting spirit, and unfaltering devotion to duty in the face of heavy odds reflect the highest credit upon himself and the U.S. Naval Service

St. Louis Anti-Gun Rally Becomes Rally To Cede US Sovereignty
Earlier today a bunch of well-heeled progressive women from the nice, safe part of Missouri rolled into crime-ridden St. Louis city to condescend to city residents and hold signs proclaiming “Moms Demand Action! For Gun Sense In America!” Because what mom doesn’t demand action for things, gun sense especially? These moms aren’t like those pro-Second Amendment moms, who apparently do not demand gun sense, whatever that’s supposed to mean.
St. Louis City Mayor Francis Slay stood onstage behind speaker Dr. Robert Flood, who remarked how the United States should cede sovereignty to the United Nations because they can deal better with gun crime. You know, the United Nations that has has as members of its security council top-rated countries like Rwanda and Pakistan who are famous for citizens’ safety.

SWAT team breaks door, windows at wrong home
Via avordvet
"I feel violated," Carla Glover told WTAE. "There's not even words to describe what I was feeling."
Police were searching for a suspect in the early Saturday morning shooting death of 21-year-old Steven Lee Jr. of McKees Rocks. Lee was killed after a fight on a "party bus" on Chartiers Avenue in Sheraden.
The SWAT team later surrounded a row of homes on Sutherland Street. They were apparently looking for someone in Glover's neighbor's apartment, but home video from people who live nearby shows officers dropping chairs off of Glover's porch and standing in her broken down front door. Her windows were also shattered.
Glover knew nothing about what was happening at her home until she received a call from police.
Par for the course.
