The New York Times called Perry “one of the least thoughtful and most damaging state leaders in America, having done great harm to immigrants, abortion clinics and people without health insurance during his 14 years in office.”
But with that preface, the newspaper continued: “But bad political judgment is not necessarily a felony, and the indictment handed up against him on Friday — given the facts so far — appears to be the product of an overzealous prosecution.”
Scary when even the communist New York Times questions the indictment.

Thanks and I saw that thinking much the same. It's hard to believe their audacity thinking they would succeed with this as I believe all it has done is garner more support for Perry.
I live here in Austin, Texas. Lehmberg is a joke. She was given preferential treatment on her sentence. If you and I got a similar DUI we would still be paying in one way or another. This attack is pure partisan politics. Austin is not the liberal playground the nation paints it, but there is a very vocal active far far left wing population that will do what they can by any means necessary. What is funny is there was an article on the front page od the Austin American Statesman how pro-illeagal imigration politcians want to cut off funding to Sherrifs Departments who deport illegals. So if Perry does cuts funding it is unlawful, if they do it it is ok. Such BS. These Progs nedd to be stopped!
Yes, in both of them. She doesn't have a leg to stand upon. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes and I believe she served about half of the sentence if my memory serves me correctly, although that is probably par for the course these days.

The left is not stupid. They know if this practice becomes accepted they are just as vulnerable if not more so.

If so, then they are going for broke in a short time.
DeleteDon't you love it when a power trip crashes!
