US military personnel forced to submit to the sharia during Ramadan
Our troops must adhere to the sharia during the Islamic month of Ramadan in Bahrain and other Muslim countries. Subjected to dawah (proselytizing) by an Islamic cultural adviser at the Naval Support Activity, soldiers are forced to sit through lessons on Islam. No eating, drinking, alcohol, smoking during the month of Ramadan.
This is what the Obama administration and the US military are obsessed with as armies of jihad tear through the Middle East.

Supreme Court Rules Unanimously Against Obama for 12th and 13th Time Since 2012
Via avordvet
Did you know the Obama administration’s position has been defeated in at least 13 – thirteen — cases before the Supreme Court since January 2012 that were unanimous decisions? It continued its abysmal record before the Supreme Court today with the announcement of two unanimous opinions against arguments the administration had supported. First, the Court rejected the administration’s power grab on recess appointments by making clear it could not decide when the Senate was in recess. Then it unanimously tossed out a law establishing abortion-clinic “buffer zones” against pro-life protests that the Obama administration argued on behalf of before the Court (though the case was led by Massachusetts attorney general Martha Coakley).

And Maybe Concealed Carriers Should Be Forced To Wear Clothing With Stars Or Triangles On Them?
Citizen control cultists have rarely been accused of being able to string coherent thoughts together, but a gun control supporter from Point Pleasant, New Jersey, may have come up with the must absurdly offensive idea yet:
There should be a law requiring every household with a gun (no matter what kind) to post a sign in a window or on the front lawn warning that there are firearms in that home. We post signs for security, letting thieves know there is an alarm and cameras there if they attempt a break-in.

NC Universities: Questions from a Concerned Parent
Discrimination against X Atheist converted Christian Professor costs college $700,000.
A parent wrote to me last week asking for my honest assessment of my university. His reason for writing is that his son is enrolling at UNC-Wilmington in the fall. He directly asked whether I would send my own son to the university where I teach. He also asked some other pointed questions. I thought my answers would make an informative column for parents who are about to send their Christian children to secular universities like UNCW. So here goes. His unedited questions and my responses follow:
1. On a scale of 1 to 100 (1 = Hillsdale College and 100 = UNC Chapel Hill), how liberal would you say UNCW is? Why?
I would say 90. I know of several genuinely conservative professors here at UNCW. That is probably several more than at Chapel Hill. Regardless, most UNCW social science and humanities departments lack even one single conservative voice. So I would give UNCW an “F” on intellectual diversity as opposed to the “F-minus” I would give to UNC-Chapel Hill.
2. How supportive/antagonistic are the faculty at UNCW toward Christianity/Christians?
The support is almost entirely lacking and the antagonism is pervasive. There is, however, variation from one department to the next. Christian students just need to be careful in their selection of general studies requirements as well as general electives. Be very careful when taking courses in philosophy. Try to avoid English, Sociology, and Education altogether. If your son has any questions, send him to my office. I'll make sure he avoids the more outspoken anti-Christian professors.

Video: Black McDonald's worker pummels white gal
“There is a moral and social breakdown in the fabric of our society which is clearly evident when a woman gets pummeled in broad daylight in front of her child while a dozen people pull out their phones to record the incident instead of calling for help.” said Police Chief John Pelura.
Authorities are preparing to file charges against a black McDonald’s employee who violently beat a white woman in front of her toddler.
The attack happened Tuesday afternoon in the city of Salem, New Jersey and video of the assault was later posted on Facebook.
The video shows the woman, identified as LaTia Harris, 25, briefly exchanging words with the victim in a grassy area behind the McDonald’s restaurant. Moments later, she throws the victim to the ground, sits on top of her and repeatedly punches the victim in the head and chest.
The victim’s toddler son kicks the attacker in an attempt to protect his mother, but the punches continue to fly.
“Mommy!” the child cries as the beating intensifies.
The attacker then gets up and kicks the woman in the lower back before threatening the boy. “You better get your son before I kick him in the [expletive] face too,” she screams.

Many of those at the Izvaryne crossing on Thursday were taking household items, including refrigerators. One family from a village south of Slovyansk, a separatist stronghold that has come under frequent shelling from the military, said they "hated Ukraine" and would not return.
Thousands of Ukrainians in cars stuffed with belongings lined up
Thursday at the eastern border to cross into Russia, with some saying
they felt betrayed by their government and vowing never to return.
A commander at the rebel-controlled border post southeast of the city of
Luhansk said 5,000 people had left by evening, joining a stream he said
has continued unabated through a shaky cease-fire set to expire on
Friday.

SWAT Team Refuses Public Records Request, Says ‘We’re Not a Government Agency
After being petitioned by the ACLU, the North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC), the group that overseas the SWAT team, claimed it was not subject to public records laws.
“When we asked NEMLEC for records about their SWAT policies and deployments, we were startled to receive this response: we don’t have to give you documents because we aren’t government agencies,” the ACLU blog, PrivacySOS, revealed.
Although claiming to be a private entity, the group seemingly has no issue with using government grants and public funds to purchase and maintain armored vehicles and military equipment.
“NEMLEC can’t have it both ways,” said Jessie Rossman, a staff attorney with the ACLU of Massachusetts. “Either it is a public entity subject to public records laws, or what it is doing is illegal.”
The ACLU immediately responded by filing suit against NEMLEC, asking the Suffolk County Superior Court to order the group to release all relevant documents including training materials, incident reports and deployment statistics.

America Is Well Armed and There Is Nothing the Gun Grabbers Can Do About It
Americans own so many guns that it’s causing sales to decline.
Since Barack Obama’s re-election, gun sales have spiked dramatically after he made comments calling for stricter gun laws. But two years later, American gun sales are declining, CNBC reports.
Analysts from KeyBanc reported an almost 10 percent decrease in gun sales during the previous year.
Some analysts are saying this is proof those worried about gun bans have quelled that fear, but some, including Makshim Soshkin of IBISWorld, think it is simply the market returning to stability.

Emails Reveal Lerner Targeted GOP's Grassley for Audit
Startling new emails from the woman at the center of the IRS tea party-targeting scandal show that in 2012 she suggested referring Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley for a possible audit.
The email exchange — released by the Republican-controlled House Ways and Means Committee on Wednesday — took place in December 2012, and shows that Lois Lerner, former director of the IRS' Exempt Organizations Unit, mistakenly received an invitation to speak at an event. Her invitation was meant for Grassley.
Lerner and Grassley were both invited to speak at a seminar, ABC News noted. The group mixed up their tickets and Grassley’s invitation indicated the group was also paying for Grassley's wife to travel and attend the seminar. Grassley's wife, Barbara, is a lobbyist.
The House Ways and Means Committee did not name the group hosting the seminar, but said instead of forwarding the invitation to Grassley's office, Lerner immediately suggested that the issue should be referred for examination.
Lerner commented in an email to a colleague that the organizers of the event "inappropriately offered to pay" for Grassley's wife, and suggested Grassley be referred for a possible audit.
The colleague, Matthew Giuliano, a legal counsel at the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division of the IRS, later shot the idea down, the exchange shows.
"I think the offer to pay for Grassley's wife is income to Grassley, and not prohibited on its face," he wrote, according to the email chain.
After hearing from Giuliano, Lerner dropped the idea, but not without the snarky observation that she wouldn't "want to be on stage with Grassley on this issue."
Grassley was stunned.

High court rebukes Obama on recess appointments
The Supreme Court on Thursday limited the president's power to fill high-level vacancies with temporary appointments, ruling in favor of Senate Republicans in their partisan clash with President Barack Obama.
The high court's first-ever case involving the Constitution's recess appointments clause ended in a unanimous decision holding that Obama's appointments to the National Labor Relations Board in 2012 without Senate confirmation were illegal. Obama invoked the Constitution's provision giving the president the power to make temporary appointments when the Senate is in recess.
Problem is, the court said, the Senate was not actually in a formal recess when Obama acted.
Obama had argued that the Senate was on an extended holiday break and that the brief sessions it held every three days — what lawmakers call "pro forma" — were a sham that was intended to prevent him from filling seats on the NLRB.
The justices rejected that argument Wednesday.

NC: NO GUNS ALLOWED: Bogue Inlet Pier Changes Policy
I've gone there constantly for 15 years. When I asked the nice lady who had worked there all this time, she said the owner didn't want guns on the pier and she didn't want to be around them either. I replied that the signs would only encourage those with evil intent and I would not return as I carried all the time
