RS had 'secret research project' on conservatives: Lois Lerner warned colleague questions by Congress were 'dangerous'
The government watchdog group Judicial Watch has unearthed more bombshells in the IRS scandal, using the federal court system to get information Congress has been unable to obtain directly from the tax agency or the Justice Department.
Tom Fitton, the group’s president, told WND the scandal has now become so massive, “President Nixon resigned over lesser abuses of the IRS.”
The just-released emails reveal the IRS had a “secret research project” using lists of donors to mostly conservative organizations that an agency attorney appeared to admit it never should have had in its possession.
The documents do not describe the project or show how the IRS used the names on the lists, but they do show they were in the possession of Lois Lerner, the former agency employee and central figure in the scandal.
Referring to all the emails released Thursday by Judicial Watch, Fitton told WND, “These documents show how justice has been abused by this administration. That Eric Holder’s Justice Department has done no serious criminal investigation of the IRS abuses is no surprise since that agency is implicated in the scandal and obstructed investigations.”

I want the police to be better armed than the bad guys, but what exactly does that mean today?
Apparently, it means the Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security equip even the tiniest rural police departments with massive military vehicles, body armor and grenade launchers. The equipment is surplus from the long wars we fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
To a hammer, everything resembles a nail. SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) teams were once used only in emergencies such as riots or robberies where hostages were taken. But today there are more than 50,000 “no-knock raids” a year.
It’s not because crime got worse. There is less crime today. Crime peaked around 1990 and is now at a 40-year low. But as politicians keep passing new criminal laws, police find new reasons to deploy their heavy equipment.
I think they need a bigger one........

Speed Kills Racial Profiling Study
In an article about police shootings in last Sunday's New York Times (8/31), Michael Wines disputes the conventional wisdom about a disproportionate number of African-Americans being shot by police, saying there are no data one way or another. But Wines revives the canard about blacks being disproportionately targeted in traffic stops.
There actually is a study for that.
Throughout the 1990s, the nation was fixated on tales of jack-booted New Jersey state troopers who were stopping speeders on the turnpike just because they were black! In a 2000 primary debate, Vice President Al Gore sneered at then-New Jersey Sen. Bill Bradley, saying, "Racial profiling practically began in New Jersey, Senator Bradley."
Attorney General Eric Holder recently paid tribute to the myth, claiming that when he was in college, he had been stopped "driving from New York to Washington." He didn't mention how fast he was going.
The story never made sense. How could the troopers tell the race of drivers in speeding cars? Did they wait until the driver rolled down his window and, if he was white, say, "Oh, sorry -- have a nice day!"

A man in Inglewood, California, is receiving both praise and criticism for the way he handled a recent exchange with a pair of police officers who knocked on his door while searching for a wanted felon accused of beating his girlfriend. Avel Amarel uploaded video of the interaction to Facebook on August 25 and it has since been shared more than 10,000 times.
In the video, Amarel answers the door with his cellphone camera recording. One of the officers immediately asks him to turn the camera off.
“No, I can’t,” Amarel responds.
“OK, I said turn it off,” the officer says.
Amarel refuses to comply with the officer’s order and things eventually calm down after the situation briefly turned chaotic.

I have been searching for moderate Islam since September 11 and just like a lost sock in the dryer, it was in the last place I expected it to be.
There is no moderate Islam in the mosques or in Mecca. You won’t find it in the Koran or the Hadiths. If you want to find moderate Islam, browse the newspaper editorials after a terrorist attack or take a course on Islamic religion taught by a Unitarian Sociologist wearing fake native jewelry.
You can’t find a moderate Islam in Saudi Arabia or Iran, but you can find it in countless network news specials, articles and books about the two homelands of their respective brands of Islam.
You won’t find the fabled land of moderate Muslims in the east. You won’t even find it in the west. Like all myths it exists in the imagination of those who tell the stories. You won’t find a moderate Islam in the Koran, but you will find it in countless Western books about Islam.
Moderate Islam isn’t what most Muslims believe. It’s what most liberals believe that Muslims believe.
The new multicultural theology of the West is moderate Islam. Moderate Islam is the perfect religion for a secular age since it isn’t a religion at all.

Judge Sets Hearings for Illegal Alien Minors--4 Years From Now

defendant's desk. As his lawyer took the seat beside him, Cristian

Within a minute, Bryant had accepted the plea and scheduled a hearing in which the court will determine if Cristian is eligible to receive asylum. The date was set for June 11, 2018.
“Are you available that day?” Bryant jokingly asked the lawyer.
“I don’t have my 2018 calendar in front of me, but yes, I believe so,” the lawyer responded.
“Okay, good. Have a good school year,” Bryant told Cristian. “I’ll see you in a few years, okay?”
The entire ordeal was over in less than five minutes.

1. You get to pay into Social Security even though your average life span for males means you will be dead before you collect a dime. All those rich White Women in Florida thank you. But your friends in the Democratic party are certain that Social Security must be preserved. Well, maybe they need to adjust the retirement age up, and the tax rate up… So more of you die first.
2. You are mostly all died-in-the wool Democratic party supporters. The same party that also universally supports Planned Parenthood, an organization that was founded on the premise that there are too many black children being born and they need a way to cut that back.
3. You universally support the Democratic party, the same party that supports universal gun control. Gun control laws were established in the USA as a way to control black populations and prevent them from acting effectively in self defense. Places police won’t go because universally Democratic party mayors won’t make their Democratic party supporting Union police officers go there.

Father of SEAL Team 6 Hero: Obama Administration Lied to Us
The father of a SEAL Team 6 member who died in a helicopter crash says the Obama administration lied to him and the other families about the details surrounding the deaths of members of the squad that killed Taliban leader Osama bin Laden.
Billy Vaughn, father of Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn, who was among 30 who died in 2011 when their Chinook helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan, told J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV Wednesday that what the families were initially told about why the helicopter was shot down later turned out to be a lie.
"When the chopper was shot down, we learned many disturbing things," Vaughn explained.
"We learned that when the shots were fired, when the chopper was down, we did not take out the men who fired the [Rocket Propelled Grenades] because of the rules of engagement," he said. "That's what we were told three times in that debriefing."
However, Rep. Thomas Rooney of Florida, who was Vaughn's congressman at the time, heard a different story when he attended "a classified, high-level military briefing."
"He was told in the debriefing that they did not take them out because of the rules of engagement," but because "they didn't know where the shots came from."
Billy Vaughn said he knew at that point that "what we'd been told" was a lie.
