WV Sunday School Teacher Arrested For Warning Shot After Being Accosted by 8+ Suspects
A WV Sunday school teacher, Chris Harris, who was on his way home from church with his girlfriend is now facing serious criminal charges after firing a warning shot into the air.
According to WTOV,
“It was one of the most scariest experiences I have ever been though,” said CC Roxby, Harris’ fiancĂ©. “They surrounded me saying some pretty vulgar things like they were going to rape my wife in front of me, cut me,” Harris said. Roxby said she called 911, but one man continued to be aggressive.
“The kid kept advancing on me, saying it wasn’t a real gun, and I would much rather shoot a shot into the air to prevent them from attacking me rather than them attacking me and me shooting someone,” Harris said.
“The cruisers were coming down the street at that point and the young men ran away,” Roxby said. “Instead of them following the gang, the officers arrested Chris for firing a shot into the air.”

Judge upholds ban on concealed weapons at State Fair
Via comment by Eric on I’ll Be Carrying Concealed At The North Carolina S...
A judge ruled Monday that concealed handguns will not be allowed at the North Carolina State Fair, a decision that disappointed gun-rights advocates who asked for the ban to be overturned.
Superior Court Judge Donald Stephens said he believed "it would be unwise and imprudent to allow firearms into the State Fair."

Michigan Concealed Carry Permit Holder Helps Thwart, Capture Attempted Rapist
The mother of a woman who told police she was attacked inside an eastside home said she is thankful for neighbors who rushed to her daughter’s aid, including a man who held the alleged attacker at gunpoint then chased him down and helped hold him until police arrived.
“She got lucky,” said the woman’s mother, who is not being identified to protect the identity of the woman. “If it wasn’t for all these people who cared enough to help her, and not turn the other cheek like so many people would, my daughter would be dead right now.”

I’ll Be Carrying Concealed At The North Carolina State Fair. You’re Welcome.
It may be tough to remember after six years under a President that routinely ignores them, but laws are meant to be enforced, not arbitrarily discarded or ignoredor amended based upon the whims of politicians and bureaucrats.
North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory and State Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler aren’t fans of a 2013 revision to the state’s gun laws, which expanded rights to carry concealed weapons in many places, including the state fairgrounds.
Troxler intends to post signs banning concealed carry at the North Carolina State Fair because he chooses to believe that the law doesn’t mean what it says.
A gun rights group in the state, Grass Roots North Carolina (GRNC), is heading to court today (Monday) to challenge Troxler’s refusal to follow the law, and a legal expert says that that their case is sound:

Probe of silencers leads to web of Pentagon secrets
Via avordvet
The mysterious workings of a Pentagon office that oversees clandestine operations are unraveling in federal court, where a criminal investigation has exposed a secret weapons program entwined with allegations of a sweetheart contract, fake badges and trails of destroyed evidence.
Capping an investigation that began almost two years ago, separate trials are scheduled this month in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Va., for a civilian Navy intelligence official and a hot-rod auto mechanic from California who prosecutors allege conspired to manufacture an untraceable batch of automatic-rifle silencers.

Abortion is a fundamental right. Especially if you're a lesbian. If you don't believe me then just ask Amy Schlag and Katie Peel. They are the "married" couple that controls forty percent of UNCW's five-office diversity industrial complex. Amy (the husband) runs the LGBTQIA Office. Katie (the wife) runs the Women's Resource Center.
I began to get the idea that these two women were really worried about getting pregnant when Amy started to use her LGBTQIA Office to advocate for abortion. Last year, she sponsored a film that defended late term abortionists as well as the gruesome practice of partial birth abortion.

Note to Mr. Klein: Government Purchases Did Contribute to Ammo 'Buying Panic'
Via avordvet
On October 9, TIME's Joe Klein published a column lumping Breitbart News reports in with "conspiracy theories" surrounding federal agency ammunition purchases and suggesting those reports are causal in confusing voters as the 2014 mid-term elections approach.
To push this template, Klein had to miss an April 8, 2013, Breitbart News column showing that government ammunition purchases were a component in the creation of a "politically-induced buying panic" that left store shelves barren of ammo. In turn, the scarcity of ammunition--combined with the frenzied demand for it--drove prices through the roof.

Prepping 101: Ebola in the US! – 100% Prevention & Treatment. Also, Can Vitamin C Cure Ebola?
has not been a virus pandemic since colonial times
for a reason. We know how viruses spread. If you stay in your house and
don’t have contact with other humans, it is impossible to get a virus.
Viruses need a host organism, therefore they cannot be spread through
water supplies, especially chlorinated water supplies which most of us
drink. Out in public, Ebola can most likely spread through the air, from
sneezing or coughing, but there are simple precautions you can take if
you absolutely must go out to the store, which I will get into below.
Treating Ebola is a crapshoot at this point, but I will explain the splintered logic as to what your options are should you contract the disease.
I’d like to try to clear the air a bit when it comes to how you contract
and treat Ebola, otherwise known as African Hemorrhagic Fever. The
hysteria surrounding this virus is stunning, because most people already
know this stuff. For one, there

Dr. Ada Igonoh: How Patrick Sawyer gave me Ebola… and how I survived
Via Iver
Even with the symptoms, I did not believe I had Ebola. After all, my contact with Sawyer was minimal. I only touched his I.V. fluid bag just that once without gloves. The only time I actually touched him was when I checked his pulse and confirmed him dead, and I wore double gloves and felt adequately protected.
