Here’s why Somali Muslim Refugees are moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Prepare to be shocked

Via Susan

They are going there to get subsidized Section 8 housing vouchers to take to another state.

Refugee resettlement is a euphemism for importing whole Muslim communities, importing jihad. I have long documented the targeting of gateway cities (smaller cities) overwhelmed with Muslim refugee immigration from countries like Somalia — cities like Emporia, Kansas, Nashville, Greeley and Fort Morgan, Colorado, Lewiston, Maine et al. The over-saturation and drain on city resources has driven these immigrants northward to settle in Wyoming, according to these reports.

Organizations like Lutheran Family Services profit enormously from the Federal government handling these refugees.

ferguson targets

The Justice for Mike Brown Ferguson protest group released its list of potential targets following the decision by the St. Louis County Courthouse on the Mike Brown case.

The published map shows expected landmarks like the Ferguson City Hall and the County Courthouse.

But it also marks things that have NOTHING to do with the Michael Brown situation, like Anheuser Busch and Boeing.

10-year-old competitive shooter draws national attention in gun control debate

 MAGAZINE_LIMIT_IMPACT_JHW_4371_12012383.JPG

It started with one article. Then two. Shyanne Roberts, then 9, drew statewide media attention after she testified in March before the state Assembly's Law and Public Safety Committee hearing against a bill reducing the legal limit of rounds in a firearm's magazine.

The bill was vetoed by Governor Christie in July, but focus on Shyanne's amateaur competitive shooting career and outspoken opposition to gun control measures continues to swell.

It took a tragedy in Arizona — where in August, a 9-year-old girl from New Jersey accidentally shot and killed an instructor at a shooting range when she lost control of an Uzi — to propel Shyanne to the national level, as she tried to be a living example that children can handle guns safely.

3 Billion Gallons Of Fracking Wastewater Pumped Into Clean California Aquifiers: "Errors Were Made" State Admits

Via comment by Anonymous on Everything you want to know about fracking fluid ...

Dear California readers: if you drank tapwater this morning (or at any point in the past few weeks/months), you may be in luck as you no longer need to buy oil to lubricate your engine: just use your blood, and think of the cost-savings. That's the good news.

Also, the bad news, because as the California’s Department of Conservation’s Chief Deputy Director, Jason Marshall, told NBC Bay Area, California state officials allowed oil and gas companies to pump up to 3 billion gallons (call it 70 million barrels) of oil fracking-contaminated waste water into formerly clean aquifiers, aquifiers which at least on paper are supposed to be off-limits to that kind of activity, and are protected by the government's EPA - an agency which, it appears, was richly compensated by the same oil and gas companies to look elsewhere.

Obamacare guru: Obama himself plotted deception

In yet another revealing video, Obamacare adviser Jonathan Gruber disclosed President Obama himself was part of the discussion about the need to deceive the American people to pass his signature health-care law.

“The problem is it’s a political nightmare, and people say, ‘No, you can’t tax my benefits,” Gruber said in a June 13, 2012, interview with the PBS program “Frontline. ” … So what we did a lot in that room was think a lot about, well how could we make this work.”

Gruber describe Obama as “really a realistic guy.”

“He was, ‘Look, I can’t just do this.’ He said, ‘It’s just not going to happen politically. The bill will not pass. How do we manage to get there through phase-ins and other things?’ And we talked about it. He was just very interested in that topic,” Gruber said.

Second lawsuit filed challenging federal ban on new machine guns

Via LH

While federal law allows older (pre-May, 1986) machine guns to be purchased if registered and taxed, a lawsuit filed Nov. 14 claims Congress has no authority to ban new ones, and that doing so violates the Second Amendment.

A complaint for declarative and injunctive relief was filed Friday in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Plaintiff Ryan S. Watson, acting individually and as trustee of the Watson Family Gun Trust, is suing Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director B. Todd Jones in their official capacities for administering, executing and enforcing “statutory and regulatory provisions [that] generally act as an unlawful de facto ban on the transfer or possession of a machine gun manufactured after May 19, 1986.”

Surgeon who contracted Ebola virus in Sierra Leone dies at Nebraska hospital

A surgeon who contracted the Ebola virus while working in Sierra Leone died Monday at a Nebraska hospital where he was being treated in a biocontainment unit, the facility said in a statement.

A statement released Monday by Nebraska Medical Center said Dr. Martin Salia "has passed away as a result of the advanced symptoms of the disease." Hospital spokesman Taylor Wilson said Salia died shortly after 4 a.m. Monday. Salia's body will be cremated, Dr. Phil Smith, medical director of the biocontainment unit said in a press conference.

Salia, 44, was being treated in the medical center's biocontainment unit after arriving Saturday by plane from West Africa. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where two other Ebola patients have been successfully treated. On Sunday officials had described his condition as "an hour-by-hour situation."

Parrots, Whores, and Clowns: Barack Obama’s Press Corps

 Media Clowns

The press leans left. That is an objective fact. Trace the roots of many reporters’ careers or that of their spouses or now, in some cases, their children, and you will find they are ideological brethren with the Democrats’ base.
This is why they can herald the activist left’s defeat of Joe Lieberman in the 2006 Connecticut Democratic Primary as the rise of grassroots democracy, then spend the next seven years angrily denouncing the tea party’s much more successful and sustained house cleaning on the right.

The press is a herd of progressive lemmings. It plays whore to the courtiers of the Obama Administration, parrots their talking points, and acts as national political clown.

Consider the collective consensus of the press on how to describe the 2014 election. Just listen:

Obama Met With Ferguson Activists – Said He’s Concerned They “Stay on Course”

 ferguson market looting

President Obama met with Ferguson protest leaders on November 5th, the day after the midterm elections. The meeting was not on his daily schedule. He was concerned that the protesters “stay on course.”

What does that mean?

And why is the president meeting with the violent Mike Brown protesters before a verdict is reached in the court case?

Chuck Hagel comforts the nation: America’s ability to respond to attack no longer partly hinges on speed of FedEx

Via Jonathan

I did a double-take today when I heard SecDef Chuck Hagel say this today because it sounds sort of like a Dr. Strangelove outtake:
One telling example of the decay in the nation’s nuclear arsenal emerged from reviews released by the Pentagon Friday. Maintenance crews at the nation’s nuclear bases had access to only one wrench required to tighten bolts on the warhead end of the Minuteman 3 missile, and this same wrench was being used by crews at all three ICBM bases in North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana, according to reviews by the Pentagon and by outside experts.
Asked about the wrench by CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Friday that crews at the three bases exchanged the tool by “federal expressing” it to each other. “They were creative and innovative,” he said, but he acknowledged that’s not how the system is supposed to work.

Parents furious over Florida school's surprise 'active shooter' drill

Braindead

An unannounced “active shooter drill” at a Florida middle school left teachers and students frightened and confused, and has angered parents who say police and administrators terrified their children.

The Thursday morning drill at Jewett Middle Academy in Winter Haven began when the school principal announced the school was going on lockdown. Winter Haven police officers then burst into classrooms brandishing guns, including an unloaded AR-15 rifle, to check on students huddled in the dark. Teachers were also clueless a drill was taking place.

“All of sudden there was a gun barrel,” 8th-grader Xavier Tate told "Fox & Friends"Sunday, describing what he saw from his classroom. “We didn’t know it was a drill. We thought it was a gunman (coming) right through the door.”

The CMMG Mk3–a Hard Hitting Heavy Rifle–Review

 kkk

The AR-10 is nothing new. It is where the AR-15 and the whole American-made black rifle market began. The AR-10, chambered in .308, is a clear descendent of the heavy battle rifles that dominated early 20th century wars. The prevailing wisdom decided that soldiers needed heavy rounds that offered reliable stopping power at long ranges. These were considered opinions that wanted a rifle platformed that mirrored the abilities of the Garand and M-14. Yet they also knew that speed and capacity and modularity were important.

At the other end of the table were those who wanted smaller, faster rounds, and more of them. These dudes eventually won the debate. But the AR-10 platform didn’t go away. The draw of the .308 is still strong, and the desire for the perfect delivery system has driven companies like CMMG to continue to develop the basic AR-10 premise. Their Mk3 is a big-ass .308 that delivers on the promise of the AR-10: the stopping power of a heavy round, the fighting versatility of a lighter, faster rifle.

FBI Director: Mobile encryption could lead us to 'very dark place'

Via Wes
it-security
Summary: Apple's and Google's encryption plans have not gone down well with US law enforcement, and the agency's director says the companies are leading us down a dark path.
FBI Director James Comey believes that in a "post-Snowden" world, the pendulum has swung too far — and unchecked encryption could lead us all to a "dark, dark place" where criminals walk free.

Speaking at an event at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C., Comey said that public misconceptions over the data collected by the US government and technological capabilities of agencies such as the NSA have encouraged heightened encryption — but the consequences could be dire.

The FBI chief, who has been in his post just over a year, said that "the law hasn't kept pace with technology, and this disconnect has created a significant public safety problem." In particular, "Going Dark" worries law enforcement the most — the spectre of facing black spots in surveillance, and not being able to gather or access evidence related to suspected criminals.
