I attended the Spring PATCON in Tarboro this year which resulted in a personal epiphany.
A question was posed to the audience: how many people believed there was a political solution to our nation’s problems? Not only did no one believe that there was a political solution, half of the people broke out in laughter. Although I had no doubt before this that there was no hope for the government, I could always pray that I was wrong. The epiphany was simple: I was not alone or even in a minority in my logic. I will always remember that day as being the day that I knew in my heart that the country was over. We were no longer free, the rule of law was not in effect and tyranny had replaced the Republic.
Flash forward to today. In a short nine week span of time, the people have been betrayed by Congress (trade legislation), the Supreme Court (gay marriage and SCOTUScare) and the pResident has divided the country using race, gun control and homosexuality.
These actions have shown the American people that the government has been usurped. I do not have to solicit people’s reactions to current events: everyone is discussing the state of the government. I do not even respond to their conversations. I just listen to people who are having their own epiphanies. What will happen as this number increases to the point that III% will take action?
No one can argue effectively that the Constitution is still in effect. A Supreme Court justice has told us that the Constitution is not valid. Will you accept the loss of two of your first amendment rights to a homosexual agenda? Will you accept your church sermons regulated by the state? Will you watch your son or daughter become purple penguins? Will you submit or resist?
I agree with David. Now what do we do to show that Resistance? If you have been going to a church where the pastor has been wishy washy or even supportive of the Leftie/Gay Fascist agenda, then you must stand up before the entire Congregation and declare your dedication to Jesus and the Gospel - there certainly are others who agree with you. Then demand that 'pastor's' resignation. If you have to leave and start your own church in someone's house, do it!
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't already gotten your precious children out of govt. schools, DO IT! Do it before it is outlawed, and then stand firm when it is outlawed.
At work, when your employer is mandated to 'enrich' the Diversity program to a point where you can no longer be silent, time to let them know what you really think, and make preparations to leave. That means living on a lot less money - that retirement you have been saving for, don't worry about that either as the Fed will cause a huge crash soon, and your money will be gone.
I am so nauseous and my heart is in deep pain, so am not thinking too straight now as to what else to do.
Thanks sweetie and it's five o'clock somewhere. :)
Delete@ Sioux, I do understand how you feel. This has been a very rough week for all who believe in the rule of law, and common sense. The bad news is that things are going to get much worse and more openly evil. The country we once knew is gone forever.
ReplyDeleteHowever, please read the OT book of Habakkuk. God is still fully in control. The ungodly and the unrighteous will be made to answer for the evil they have done. I do like Brocks observation, to which I will add...If you are going to have a drink, buy the good stuff, life is too short to drink cheap booze ( in moderation of course).
It is good to born in a depraved time, for compared to others you gain a reputation for virtue at small cost.
Thanks and I've averaged about four hours sleep each night since this crap started.
DeleteYou got four hours??? Lucky man! :-)
DeleteIf you haven't, read A Bright Shining Lie on John Paul Vann who was a remarkable man. He came from a poor family in Virginia and could go months on end with two hours of sleep and never needed more than four.
DeleteBrock always has good suggestions for bringing me back down to earth. I do know that God is in control, and that is what really scares me. Is me railing at the moon and Free North Carolina enough??? Is merely buying lots of rope enough??? If it is, then I need to go purchase something to drink soon - it is almost 5:00 here where I am. It is good to have comfort from y'all...it's all I have, which is a sad statement. No one in my real world seems to give a rat's patoot.
ReplyDelete:) Thanks.
DeleteSioux... a six pack of Blue Moon, an orange, and 20 rounds of 5.56 is still less than $20.... it's kinda like therapy.... stormfriend sends
DeleteIt's time to stick to the moral compass. Sounds goofy but I've gotten in the habit of watching the old westerns on tv on Saturdays now that it's hot as blazes out. Those ol cowboys stuck to their guts n guns. I believe that's the only choice we have now. I saw something briefly about Moochele obama saying we have to CHANGE our history. We are being attacked, for our christianity and our history. Stand tall, follow your moral compass and to hell with the rest. Gather as many likeminded as possible because I believe it's gonna get squirrelly here directly.
ReplyDeleteThis country has gone.
DeleteAs I commented on another site: when is enough enough? When will/does people take a stand beyond bitching about what is happening? When the first person takes a stand, who will stand behind him/her? Who will stand behind them? How much more?

There will have to be an occurrence so vile, that even the potato couches understand that something needs to be done.
