The Constitution In Waco

http://www.agingrebel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Burning-Constitution-Wide.jpg

The First Amendment to the Constitution states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The Waco Police Department and other police departments blatantly tried to prevent a peaceful assembly and public officials have slandered the attendees ever since.

The majority of the 176 people arrested after the Waco Massacre were arrested because they were wearing motorcycle club indicia, or insignia, and such insignia is a constitutionally protected form of expression – even in Texas. Current case law can be succinctly summarized as: “Implicit in the right to engage in activities protected by the First Amendment is a corresponding right to associate with others in pursuit of a wide variety of political, social, economic, educational, religious, and cultural ends. This right is crucial in preventing the majority from imposing its views on groups that would rather express other, perhaps unpopular, ideas. Clothing identifying one’s association with an organization is generally considered expressive conduct entitled to First Amendment protection.”

“John, John, bad King John
Shamed the throne that he sat on; …
So the Barons brought a Deed;
Down to rushy Runnymede,
Magna Carta was its hight,
Charter of the People’s Right,
Framed and fashioned to correct
Kings who act with disrespect –”
-Eleanor Farjeon, Bad King John, 1940
June marks the 800th anniversary of 25 medieval English barons forcing King John to affix his beeswax seal to the calfskin parchment of Magna Carta, the Great Charter, among the oldest and most important legal documents in the history of Anglo-American law.

In 1215 King John was an incorrigible tyrant. His reign was marked by the arbitrary exercise of power through force, expensive and unsuccessful foreign wars, and fathering several children with wives of various noblemen. England’s feudal barons had had enough.

Entire World Headed to U.S.: Ann Coulter Denounced for Noticing

Via David

http://savingtherepublic.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Ann-Coulter-Sets-Jorge-Ramos.png

Of all the people I know in the world of political commentary, Ann Coulter is the most un-ransomable captive to truth, in-depth-study of facts, consequences and her Daughters of The Revolution passion for America.

The other week, I traveled to Miami with Ann for her debate with Jorge Ramos, of Univision TV, over her new book, "Adios America." She'd crawled out of her sickbed to keep that date.  I know, because I was the pal who for days dashed back and forth with the raw ginger, mango juice, Alka-Seltzer Plus/Nightime, cases of water, various lozenges and prescriptions from CVS.  It was imperative that she be well for what she considered an important interview.  And, whew, she made it!

Although still ill, Ann came with a fully loaded quiver and Jorge was no match for her.  I was disappointed, for I'd expected a sparkling event but this reporter came to the test without his homework. He began the interview by challenging her numbers.

Anyone with the slightest exposure to Ann knows never to do that

American Keith Broomfield Killed Fighting Against ISIS in Syria

Via Generic Views

An American man killed fighting alongside Kurdish forces against ISIS believed it was "God's will" that he go to Syria, his mother told NBC News.

"I didn't want him to go but I didn't have a choice in the matter," Keith Broomfield's mother, Donna, tearfully said in a phone interview Wednesday from Westminster, Massachusetts.

A State Department official confirmed to NBC News that Broomfield, 36, was killed in Syria. The official did not provide further details, saying only that the State Department was in touch with his family.

Twitter accounts and Facebook pages linked to Kurdish fighters were first to report his death, calling Broomfield a "martyr" and saying he was killed in the Syrian countryside surrounding Kobani. There was no immediate official confirmation from the secular Kurdish forces fighting ISIS in Syria known known as the YPG.

Bilderberg 63rd Conference agenda: 'U.S. elections and artificial intelligence'

Via Billy

Bilderberg

The 63rd annual conference of the very secretive Bilderberg group is set for Telfs-Buchen, Austria, beginning June 11, and among this year’s topics of planned discussion: U.S. elections and artificial intelligence.

Few in the media have reported on the looming four-day affair, and what’s released by the group itself is barebones. The Independent, for instance, reported the meeting of the world’s elites will take place this year at the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, located in the middle of the Austrian Alps. And security, as always, will be tight.

AMA Opposes Parental Rights

 statue

The American Medical Association (AMA) on Monday voted to oppose religious or philosophical exemptions for childhood vaccinations, in what its members hope will be a determinative blow against informed consent and a parent’s right to protect the bodily integrity of their child.

Two states already deny parents and children these rights under law. Neither Mississippi nor West Virginia allow for a religious or philosophical exemption by law. These states coincidentally both rank at the very bottom in both education (43rd and 50th) and economic (50th and 45th) outcomes, but suddenly the AMA finds them “cutting-edge.”

Teach for America's Professional Agitators

It's increasingly difficult to tell the difference between Teach for America -- whose leaders are at the forefront of inflammatory anti-police protests in Baltimore, Ferguson, and now McKinney, Texas -- and left-wing activist groups such as Organizing for Action (President Obama's partisan community organizing army).

Guess what, taxpayers? You're paying for it!

Army refuses to provide Honor Guard for church's (1774) July 4th celebration

For nearly two decades, the U.S. Army has provided an honor guard for an Independence Day celebration at a Baptist church that predates the founding of the nation. But this year – that tradition has come to an end.

Officials at Fort Gordon say they will not be able to send an honor guard to a July 5th service at Abilene Baptist Church because it violates a military policy banning any involvement in a religious service

Disney Blacklisted Displaced American Workers

Via avordvet

Mickey Mouse rides in a parade through Main Street, USA with Cinderella

The American tech workers Disney laid off in January after forcing them to train their foreign replacements were put on a “black list” that disqualified them from hire by any contractor that works with Disney, emails obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation between one of the laid off workers and a recruiting firm show.

The worker, who asked to remain anonymous because he is waiting on legal advice, learned of the black list when he sent his resume and performance review to a local IT recruiting firm that wanted to place him with a company contracting with Disney.

ATF TO RECLASSIFY AR/AK PISTOLS AS NFA ITEMS

Via Michael

 jmOneNationUnderSocialism 001

This serves as a follow up to a previous article I wrote concerning Obama’s “Hail Mary” move to ram through more anti-gun laws before he leaves office.  He has directed his anti-gun leaders at the DOJ and ATF to reclassify AR/AK Pistols as an NFA item.  See new rule here.

What does this mean?  Well, as we all know, or in case you don’t, an NFA item is highly regulated by the ATF.  The NFA was originally enacted in 1934. Similar to the current NFA, the original Act imposed a tax on the making and transfer of firearms defined by the Act, as well as a special (occupational) tax on persons and entities engaged in the business of importing, manufacturing, and dealing in NFA firearms. The law also required the registration of all NFA firearms with the Secretary of the Treasury. Firearms subject to the 1934 Act included shotguns and rifles having barrels less than 18 inches in length, certain firearms described as “any other weapons,” machineguns, and firearm mufflers and silencers.  As it is described on the ATF’s website,

Army Gen. Randy Taylor introduces his husband at Pentagon Gay Pride event

Via 82 Winters "Not my Father's Army, or my Grand-father's, or my Great-grandfather's, and sure as Hell not mine!"

A married Army general on Tuesday introduced his spouse at a Pentagon event that featured lots of top brass, including Defense Secretary Ashton Carter as the keynote speaker.

What made this seemingly routine introduction noteworthy is that Brig. Gen. Randy S. Taylor introduced his husband, Lucas.

“My husband Lucas is sitting up front here,” Gen. Taylor said of the man in the same row as Mr. Carter, Army Secretary John McHugh and other senior officials. He said Lucas has subjugated his own career to support the general’s frequent moves over an 18-year relationship.

I'm a liberal professor, and my liberal students terrify me

Via Skynet

http://static.digg.com/images/0498d98afe794db4ac4cdc1837bd1cac_1IcgpXw_1_www_marquee_standard.jpeg

I'm a professor at a midsize state school. I have been teaching college classes for nine years now. I have won (minor) teaching awards, studied pedagogy extensively, and almost always score highly on my student evaluations. I am not a world-class teacher by any means, but I am conscientious; I attempt to put teaching ahead of research, and I take a healthy emotional stake in the well-being and growth of my students.

Things have changed since I started teaching. The vibe is different. I wish there were a less blunt way to put this, but my students sometimes scare me — particularly the liberal ones.

Not, like, in a person-by-person sense, but students in general. The student-teacher dynamic has been reenvisioned along a line that's simultaneously consumerist and hyper-protective, giving each and every student the ability to claim Grievous Harm in nearly any circumstance, after any affront, and a teacher's formal ability to respond to these claims is limited at best.

AMERICAN PATRIOTS ADVISED TO ARM THEMSELVES DURING THE FEDS 'WAR ON COPS'

Via comment by Anonymous on Six Seconds – The Threat Matrix – McKinney Pool Mo...

A former editor for the National Rifle Association (NRA) and board member of the National Association of Chiefs of Police is urging American patriots, who believe in protecting themselves and their loved ones, to arm themselves and not count on the current government to protect them. In an exclusive to NewswithViews.com, he explains why.

In a heartbreaking incident attributed to the "war on cops" being led by President Barack Obama, his administration, and numerous Democratic Party lawmakers and activists, an Omaha city police officer who had decided to forego taking maternity leave following the premature birth of her daughter, was shot to death by a fugitive. Meanwhile, in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, the murder rate is going up, but police are avoiding confrontation with criminals to protect themselves from politicians.

But a top police adviser on guns and gun policy is urging his fellow Americans to read the tea leaves and take action to protect themselves. "Americans need handguns now more than ever," gun rights expert John M. Snyder told NewswithViews.com. Snyder is a former editor for the NRA (National Rifle Association) who now serves on the advisory boards of police organizations such as the 13,000-member National Association of Chiefs of Police.
