NC: Sherman's Escaped Fiends from the Lower Regions

Image result for bloody general Sherman's Escaped Fiends from the Lower Regions

After terrorizing the civilian population of Georgia and South Carolina, the enemy entered North Carolina in early March 1865 to bring the same to its women and children living in their path. Houses were ransacked for anything of value, livestock was taken or killed, and the defenseless were left to starve.

Sherman’s Escaped Fiends from the Lower Regions

“General Sherman was traveling with the Fifteenth Corps on March 8 [1865] when it crossed the line into North Carolina, and that evening both the General and the corps went into camp near Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church, a region his soldiers thought looked “Real northern-like. Small farms and nice white, tidy dwellings.”

General Sherman, still riding with the Fifteenth Corps, took refuge on the night of March 9 from a “terrible storm of rain” in a little Presbyterian church called Bethel. Refusing a bit of carpet one of his staff had improvised into a bed on the pulpit platform, the General stretched himself out on one of the wooden pews for the night. Not far from Bethel Church, at the meeting hall of the Richmond Temperance and Literary Society, could be found another reminder of Sherman’s visit. J.M. Johnson, secretary of the society, entering in the minutes, April 22, 1865:

“After a considerable interruption, caused by the unwelcome visit of Sherman’s thieves, the Society meets again. And, of course, when God’s own house is outraged by the Yankee brutes, temples of morality and science will not be respected. We find the ornaments of our fair little Hall shattered and ruined; our book shelves empty; the grove strewn with fragments of valuable, precious volumes; the speeches and productions of members who are sleeping in their silent graves, torn and trampled in the mire, “as pearls before the swine.”

“Ye illiterate beasts! Ye children of vice! Ye have not yet demoralized us, Today we marshal our little band again; and with three cheers for Temperance and literature, unfurl our triumphant banner to the breeze.”

A resident of the village of Philadelphus [Robeson county], after passing through “the ordeal of brutal, inhuman and merciless Yankeeism,” wrote: “They visited us in torrents,” and acted like “escaped fiends from the lower regions . . . ”

The President Gets it Wrong Once Again -- Guns are actually saving lives

Just hours after the tragic shooting in a South Carolina church, President Barack Obama resumed his fanatical war on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners.

“Now’s the time for mourning and for healing, but let’s be clear -- at some point we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries,” Obama said.

Really?  Has the President forgotten just some of the foreign massacres that have taken place during his presidency -- shootings that claimed far more lives than the nine which were tragically lost in South Carolina?  How about:

A day after nine people were shot to death at a historically black church in South Carolina, American flags were flown at half staff.

The Confederate flag, however, is flying high at the state capitol in Columbia, prompting an outcry on social media.

"In a matter of hours after the attack, more than 30,000 tweets were sent including the word "confederate" - the vast majority referring to events in South Carolina," BBC News reported. "On Twitter some liberals and civil rights activists went so far as to link the flag and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, a Republican who supports the flying of the banner, to the attack at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church."

The country is reeling from a Wednesday night attack at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal, a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, by a white shooter.

But while Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen and Mayor Joseph Riley said at a press briefing that the mass shooting is being treated as a hate crime, a Confederate flag still flies on the grounds of the statehouse in Columbia. Though the debate in South Carolina over the controversial flag is far from new, it has been stoked by Wednesday’s shooting.

WACO II Cell Phone Searches

 http://www.agingrebel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Sam-Key-wide.jpg

The black shroud the Waco Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives threw over the Twin Peaks Massacre 33 days ago leaks a little more light every day.

The most interesting breaking information today comes from Dallas attorney F. Clinton Broden who has filed a civil rights lawsuit on behalf of Scimitar Motorcycle Club member Matthew Clendennen against the City of Waco and McLennan County, Texas. Today Broden released a search warrant and search warrant affidavit for Clendennen’s cell phone. The two documents contain information that directly contradicts statements made by Waco Police last Friday and that indicates the extent to which law enforcement has tried to control the commonly agreed upon narrative of what happened that day.

The documents illustrate not only the Waco police’s complete lack of credibility but the arrogance with which the department has lied. “I was lied to by the Waco police,” Broden complained. The Waco police have been lying to everybody. The Waco police have lied constantly in order to deliberately confuse the public’s understanding of what transpired that day. It might be time to start asking why they’re lying.

The Mongols Nation Fiasco

The altogether unreasonable Mongols Nation case, in which two Assistant United States Attorneys named Christopher Brunwin and Stephen Welk decided to try the same racketeering case over and over and over again until they either got the verdict they wanted or the Mongols Motorcycle Club went broke, could be over as soon as next Monday.

The case had been assigned to the Honorable Otis D. Wright for almost two years until he resigned in shame on May 26. The case was then immediately, briefly assigned to Judge John A. Kronstadt, presumably because he has some expertise in trademark law.

Kronstadt didn’t want it and Mongols attorneys Joe Yanny and Elliot H. Min offered him a way out last week – a motion that said the case should more properly be assigned to Judge David O. Carter. Yesterday Kronstadt handed the case off to Carter who will probably entertain a motion for dismissal next Monday morning.

Some History

United States versus Mongols Nation is the culmination of  a long and malicious attempt to beat the Mongols Motorcycle Club into submission and it has been largely incomprehensible to the mainstream press that has tried to report it. So, a brief summary is in order.

Military clearance OPM data breach 'absolute calamity'

Via Iver

A chart of data breaches is shown on Capitol Hill on Tuesday as witnesses testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee's hearing on the Office of Personnel Management data breach.

Anxiety is spreading among defense officials and the military community that the recent theft of federal government data linked to China may affect hundreds of thousands of service members.

Compounding those concerns is the limited information made public by the Office of Personnel Management.

Some military officials believe the recent hack targeting the civilian-run OPM seized information from tens of thousands of Standard Form 86s, which are required for all service members and civilians seeking a security clearance. That includes service members of all ranks, officers and enlisted, in a wide range of job specialties and assignments.

"They got everyone's SF-86," one Pentagon official familiar with the investigation told Military Times.

Charleston Shooter Was on Drug Linked to Violent Outbursts

Charleston shooter Dylann Storm Roof was reportedly taking a drug that has been linked with sudden outbursts of violence, fitting the pattern of innumerable other mass shooters who were on or had recently come off pharmaceutical drugs linked to aggression.

According to a CBS News report, earlier this year when cops searched Roof after he was acting suspiciously inside a Bath and Body Works store, they found “orange strips” that Roof told officers was suboxone, a narcotic that is used to treat opiate addiction.

Suboxone is a habit-forming drug that has been connected with sudden outbursts of aggression.

Obama Sets New Record Exploiting Murdered Church Members To Push Gun Control

 http://minutemennews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/gun-control-obama-barack-hussein-child-exploitation-birth-certificate-sad-hill-news.jpg

With less than 24 hours since a twenty one year old killer murdered nine innocent church members in Charleston, SC, president Obama has set a new record of politicizing their deaths in the name of gun control.
“I’ve had to make statements like this too many times,” he said. “Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times. We don’t have all the facts, but we do know that once again, innocent people were killed, in part, because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.”
While Obama noted that now is a time for mourning and healing, he said that America must eventually “reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries.”
Maybe it is his obvious frustration at his inability to erase the Second Amendment after multiple defeats that have him losing patience and jumping into the blood so soon. Just like we saw today with the Brady Campaign, who could not wait as well.

The horrendous events in South Carolina Wednesday evening are a liberal wetdream come true. They now have the right wing, mentally deranged, white guy, nut job that they will say personifies everyone who disagrees with them. This event will be used tar and feather anyone and any everyone who dared to say that the left's cuddling welfare state has been bad for this country.

Supreme Court: Texas can refuse to issue Confederate flag license plate

Via Billy

The Supreme Court has upheld Texas' refusal to issue a license plate bearing the Confederate battle flag, rejecting a free-speech challenge.

The court said Thursday that Texas can limit the content of license plates because they are state property and not the equivalent of a bumper sticker.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans had sought a Texas plate bearing its logo with the battle flag. A state board rejected it over concerns that the license plate would offend many Texans.

Americans lose confidence in everything

Via Skynet

gallup_2015

An explosive new Gallup poll shows Americans have lost confidence in almost every major institution – from the U.S. presidency, Congress and the Supreme Court to banks and organized religion.

“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said.

Only the military (72 percent) and small business (67 percent) have Americans’ increasing confidence, both of which are now rated 4 percentage points higher than their historical norms, according to the poll.

Eastern Europe may be forced to take illegal immigrants

easterneurope

Poland, Latvia, and Estonia are just some of the countries which are being looked at to take in the increasing number of illegal immigrants from Africa and the Middle East.

The European Union has proposed a quota system, whereby 40,000 to 60,000 of the migrants will be spread across Europe, and particularly in Eastern Europe where almost all the people are Native White Europeans.

Under the present EU agreements, countries may choose to accept the numbers of illegal immigrants they take, or if they take any at all.

However, some anti-White EU bureaucrats want Europe to be forced by law to take in illegal immigrants; Eastern Europe would no doubt be the first target.

The European Commissioner for Migration, Dimitris Avramopoulos, said that the migrants must be settled through-out Europe by legal force, not by a country’s choice.

Sudanese refugee killed in Kentucky wanted to go home to Africa

This is something you rarely hear about because those in the refugee industry don’t want you to know that refugees sometimes just want to go home to their homeland, to their own culture, when they find out that America can be a tough place in which to live.

Apparently that was the case for Deng Manyuon shot last Saturday when he attempted to assault a police officer in Louisville, KY.   We reported the story here yesterday.

I can see a PR campaign now with a poster like this one and an 800-number with operators waiting to hear from unhappy refugees and other immigrants who want to go home, and want information on how to apply for the funding.

Munyoun’s is not the first case I’ve heard of.   I had a back-and-forth discussion a few years ago with Iraqis who found that America’s streets were not paved with gold and they wanted to return to Iraq.  But they were unable to get the money together needed for a move back to the Middle East. Even airfare was too much for out-of-work refugees.

Honestly it’s almost like slavery, they’ve been brought here largely to supply big business with cheap labor or as voters for the Democrats and can’t go home!

9 dead in shooting at black church in Charleston, S.C.

Whatever his actual race/races may turn out to be, it's irrelevant whether it's a "hate" crime or not.

Nine people have died in a shooting at a historic black church in Charleston, S.C., police said early Thursday morning.

"I do believe this was a hate crime," Police Chief Gregory Mullen said.

Eight people died on the scene at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and one person was pronounced dead at a hospital, Mullen said. The suspect, who remains on the loose, is a white male about 21 years old, officials said.
