My Perspective of the UDC Organization
Via Billy
As I previously stated on this forum I think there are many fine ladies in the UDC but the problem seems to be with the ones they elect to the top leadership positions both state and national. They appear to want to be only a history group and unwilling to get involved in the defense of our monuments, flags, symbols and all. Just meet-eat-retreat and feel great about themselves while our CSA history, heritage, and culture is under all out Marxist Socialist attack at the national, state, and local levels.
Marxist Socialism-Communism uses HUMANITARIANISM as a cloak to shelter their evil agenda of stripping people of their freedom and taking total control. They lure and entice people by offering free financial aid and free goods and services. A socialist is best described as a communist who does NOT YET have enough political power to take everything you have. Progressive and critical thinker are deceptive names used in place of socialist and communist to gain public acceptance. Karl Marx said "people separated from their heritage are easily persuaded" and communist Vladimir Lenin coined the term "useful idiots" to describe those who through ignorance work to help achieve adoption of the socialist communist manifesto.
There is a story-probably fictional- but good enough to be true that explains how the socialist-communist trap operates. In the Okefenokee swamp in southeast Georgia there was a drove of wild hogs that none of the locals had been successful in catching with dogs. One day a stranger showed up. He built a pen but left the gate open. He put corn out away from the gate. Slowly the young pigs began to come and eat the corn. Finally the older hogs decided if the young pigs were going to eat the corn that they might as well also. The stranger kept placing the corn closer and closer to the pen and gate and eventually inside the pen. Then one night when all the pigs and hogs were inside the pen eating he sat in a tree stand and pulled a rope which sprung the gate shut.
This upper UDC leadership appears to have been indoctrinated with Marxist political correctness and a desire to be liked and approved of by the liberal socialist left. They seem terrified that their good image will be stained if they defend the Confederacy which is associated with slavery. Never mind that the north (New England) who was primarily responsible for the development of American slavery gets a near free pass although attacks on the U.S. flag have now started as us Confederates warned would happen.
I think the original UDC ladies who accomplished so much in the late 19th and early 20th centuries would be ashamed of this seemingly timid and cowardly group who is now in leadership positions and would deem them unworthy of their sires and fit only for a tyrants yoke. Unfortunately we have some like this in the SCV also.
Four ladies that I know and have tremendous admiration for who are doing all within their ability with the resources they have available to defend our CSA history, heritage, and culture are Mrs Rena Cobb of Preston Georgia, Mrs. Joan Hough (pronounced Huff) of Texas, Mrs.Pat Godwin of Alabama, and Mrs.Susan Hathaway of Virginia. And I am sure there are many many more. Thanks ladies for all you do.
And two of the many many gentlemen who deserve recognition, appreciation and respect for the work they do are Chuck Demastus in Mississippi who publishes Southern Heritage News and Views (SHNV) and Bernhard Thuersam of North Carolina who publishes info. in SHNV. Mr. Thuersam is chairman of the North Carolina Sesquicentennial Commission. I don't think anyone could have done a better job. He is a native New Yorker who came south in the military, learned the truth, and became a more staunch Confederate than most southerners.

His mother was born in Kansas. His father hailed from Kenya. These star-crossed lovers met in a Russian Language class at the University of Hawaii in 1960. A year later, he was born on August 4, 1961. Even today, his origin of birth remains a topic of national concern. In fact, the subject of his birth certificate was recently raised by the NBC moderator, Lester Holt, during the presidential debate on September 26, 2016. This, in turn, fomented a very heated discussion between the presidential candidates: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
His origin of birth was first challenged during the primaries for the 2008 presidential election by his then opponent, Hillary Clinton. The controversy was later claimed to be settled upon the release of his long-form birth certificate in 2011. However, many today still claim his long-form birth certificate is a fake. Multiple electronic document experts currently contend the document uploaded by the White House is not a scanned version of the original long-form, paper birth certificate. It is instead, a “nine-layered” document with many electronically added overlays proving it to be assembled digitally as opposed to being an exact copy of the original.

ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Just when you thought the media could not get any more dishonest and unserious, along comes Lester Holt.
Yeah, the guy blundered through Monday night’s debate getting his “fact checks” wrong with Donald Trump and letting Hillary Clinton skate along on her river of lies. And, yeah, the guy interrupted Mr. Trump seven times as much as he interrupted Mrs. Clinton. And, yeah, he asked far more probing follow-up questions of Mr. Trump and seemed to only shut down any lines of inquiry into Mrs. Clinton that opened up.
But all that is just typical partisan noise we have come to expect from the leftwing media.

“News” items like this, isolated, unverifiable, bordering on the apocryphal, strike me as dubious. They straddle that line of legitimacy and believability that makes them hard to discount, yet you still have to wonder how rigorous the fact-checking was that went into checking the story before publication. But still, there is that nagging reticence I experience as an open-minded cynic; it could easily be true, and since the MSM is essentially a Hillary-apologist tide of idiocy and vile manipulation, makes some pragmatic sense.
And especially, it is Hillary we’re speaking of. Would this be so shocking?

20+ Historic Photos Of Love During Wartime
Via Cousin Colby
Times change. Nothing remains the same forever. But as you can see from these heartwarming pictures compiled by Bored Panda, one thing doesn't change no matter how much time passes, and that's love.
Usually
when we say goodbye to somebody, we're pretty sure that we're going to
see them again, and soon. But many of the people in the photographs
below, taken during WW2, had no idea if they were ever going to be
reunited with their loved ones again. And sadly, many weren't.
These
pictures serve to remind us that life is short, so don't wait until
Valentine's Day to tell somebody you love them. Tell them today!

Trump Right on Trade Predators
Is America still a serious nation?
Consider. While U.S. elites were denouncing Donald Trump as unfit to serve for having compared Miss Universe 1996 to “Miss Piggy” of “The Muppets,” the World Trade Organization was validating the principal plank of his platform.
America’s allies are cheating and robbing her blind on trade.
According to the WTO, Britain, France, Spain, Germany and the EU pumped $22 billion in illegal subsidies into Airbus to swindle Boeing out of the sale of 375 commercial jets.

Hillary Clinton is not above cheating, lying or stealing to get what she wants so it shouldn’t be any surprise that she is being accused of cheating during Monday’s 1st Presidential debate. Various ways that Hillary apparently cheated have already been identified (e.g. the moderator Holt’s bias, Hillary’s hand signals to Holt during the debate and the noticeable unexplained wires on her back).
Other unusual items are now literally coming to light that show that Hillary may have cheated in additional ways. The below video shows a light on Hillary’s podium go out after the debate. Trump did not have the same light on his podium. The bright light that went out after the debate was a not a light for reading because it was too high and faced her and not the podium. The light appears to be more like a small monitor or teleprompter perhaps used to transmit messages to her during the debate.

The Transformation and Subjugation of American Culture by Privilege and Immigration
Via Dan
My grandparents immigrated
legally to our country from Europe around 1900. They came to
participate in the financial opportunities afforded by our free market
economy, to raise and create a prosperous future for their children and
grandchildren, and to live as free citizens.
Anxious to establish
themselves as Americans , not Hungarian-Americans, Austrian-Americans,
or Russian-Americans, my grandparents enrolled in night school to learn
English and went to work.
While keeping some of the customs and
traditions from their past, they accepted nothing less than complete
immersion, especially for their children, in the culture, laws, and
history of our nation. My grandparents took great pride in grabbing
their piece of the American Dream by using their own two hands and a lot
of hard work.

2016 Election: Desperation’s Extreme Alternatives
Via Billy
Terms such as “shadow players” and “powerbrokers,” circulate loosely during election seasons since they are in charge of selecting those who will be. And it is to these unknowns, those who operate without recognition or restraint, that Trump has manhandled and mystified.
As events unfold, the credit for this Trump movement rests squarely upon the shoulders of those elitists. During their ongoing pursuit for control, they themselves fell prey to one of nature’s ever present callings. Although difficult to accept and even harder to admit, the urge of “impatience” beckoned and disrupted their best laid plans.
For as long as I dare remember, the art of gradualism has been steadily at play. Way back when unwarranted building blocks were established, those credited with such were content in knowing that they started the greatest of revolutions without firing a shot.
Those long-ago players assumed others would fill their vacancies and carry on their quest. Since this policy of gradual revisionism necessitated lifetimes, a general understanding was shared that eventually all efforts would be justified and fulfilled by those who followed faithfully.
This process granted the schemers and plotters the same undetectable action which the hands of a clock offers. Appearing to be stationary, they move at a very slow and unseen pace. This is the system of gradualism and its theme is patience.
Americans have been given one last chance and it came about quite by accident. If everything continued creeping along, as was the case during the last century, eventually, it would have been too late to reverse. However, happenstance interrupted and Trump beckoned our hearts and minds with his “make America great again” and “what do you have to lose!”
His introduction and subsequent success was made possible based upon one blunder which went both unnoticed and naturally unreported. In all probability, this faux pas was due to the human instinct of impatience since an easy win was hard to pass up.
It’s understandable that the “powers to be” were at ease with a Clinton Presidential campaign in 2008. That was until an unknown Senator from Illinois blustered onto the scene with an impassioned speech at the democrat convention. From that performance, his presidential potential was irresistible.
Instead of realizing that this young Senator would be a perfect follow up to Clinton’s socialized styled Administration, the social draw for racial equality screamed with a magnetic appeal. As we now are mercifully wrapping up Obama’s second term, that impulsive shuffling of candidates is currently posing a turbulent stretch run and in retrospect, a pause for regret.
Just imagine if the original progression was maintained. After eight years, an aging Clinton would hand the gavel over to a younger Obama, who after additional Senate service, would be a more formidable candidate. Given the public’s rapture which he inspired back in 2008, is there any doubt that today, we would be looking at an Obama presidency with a probable re-election in 2020?
And how did this mishap occur? Simply from the frailties of the human spirit which are often irresistible, even to the point of affecting those shadowy Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) elites. So, they took the bait and succumbed to the easy win. And it was way too easy. But now, the reverse is true.
Emerging from the first Presidential debate, a campaign that otherwise would have been a “no-brainer” is now a grind-it-out slug fest. But most importantly, that interloper has awakened a sleeping giant.
All the post debate media spinning has Clinton winning hands down. However, voters don’t agree. If only from the last eight years, public trust of the media’s word has waned drastically. It’s ironic that while we are fed reports of the low Congressional approval ratings, those same numbers could and should be shared by the media’s punditry.
As a result, their bantering about the recent debate falls upon deaf ears. At this point, after nearly eight dreadful years of Obama spins and distortions, the democrat’s weightiest ally has lost its effectiveness.
So, is it any wonder that desperation has now crept onto the democrat slate once again? Without a credible candidate to showcase and with its propaganda arm in disarray, extreme measures are now being revisited. Is it possible that street violence has replaced the influences from the journalistic sword?
Given that such discord is based upon racial inequality, a political theme has reared its ugly brow in that the locales for such mayhem do not conflate with that perceived style of injustice.
What caused such rioting in Charlotte when both participants were racially identical? That compared to what occurred in Oklahoma, where a white/black incident took place? Could it be that Oklahoma, as a “red State,” offers less political incentive than the “toss up” State of North Carolina? Has racial rioting become a political tool?
While this thought may seem vulgar and unacceptable, so is the fact that four Americans were abandoned at their time of need. Repetitious is this pattern of pre election desperation which again dictates extreme alternatives.

Yesterday's most ignored headline was that our horse faced, horses ass of a Secretary of State had given Russia what amounted to an ultimatum demanding that all offensive operations against anti Assad forces i.e. ISIS, in Aleppo be halted immediately or all cooperation between the US and Russia would stop.
Never mind the arrogance of such a statement, I would like for these bungling fools to tell us just one thing in Aleppo or all of Syria for that matter, that is worth creating a direct military confrontation between the US and Russia. A confrontation that could well drag us and Europe into another world war.
And no I won't accept any BS answers about how brutal the Assad regime is or how the assault constitutes s humanitarian crisis. In both cases I would respond, so what? The Assads have ruled Syria with an iron fist for half a century. And if we're so worried about a body count in Aleppo why aren't we worried about the body counts in Chicago or Baltimore or our own nations capital? Seems to me this is the same Bashier Assad that old horse face and the Democrats were declaring to be a "great reformer" just a few short years ago when they thought such declarations could be used as a political bludgeon against both the Bush administration and Israel.

State AGs sue to stop Obama's internet transition
Via Billy
Four Republican state attorneys general are suing to stop the Obama administration from transferring oversight of the internet to an international body, arguing the transition would violate the U.S. Constitution.
The lawsuit — filed Wednesday in a Texas federal court — threatens to throw up a new roadblock to one of the White House’s top tech priorities, just days before the scheduled Oct. 1 transfer of the internet’s address system is set to take place.

The Stupid Empire

Reprinted from brionmcclanahan.com
As the first leg of the American invasion force rolled through Iraq in 2003, Sergeant Brad Colbert of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the United States Marine Corps leaned out the window of his Humvee and urged the Iraqi people to “vote Republican.” This moment was captured by the embedded reporter, Evan Wright, and made famous in a series of articles that appeared in Rolling Stone magazine and later in the HBO mini-series Generation Kill. (I recommend this series to anyone who wants a realistic view of the early stages of the war in Iraq. It is not for the faint of heart, however. The vulgarity and violence may turn some viewers off, but it also helps explain why people in other parts of the world hate the United States.) Wright later recounted that Colbert was not making a joke; he firmly believed what he was saying. While this surprised Wright, it typifies the “stupid empire” of the Republican Party and progressives in general.
From the war to “end slavery” to the war to “liberate Iraq,” the United States has been waging war for the last one-hundred and fifty years to theoretically bring “liberty and democracy” to “heathen” parts of the world. These are, rhetorically, wars for “humanity’s sake,” but more than anything they bring a perverted form of empire, one in which United States taxpayers are on the hook for trillions of dollars with nothing to show for it except more war, higher taxes, inflation, and resentment from many of the people the military sought to “liberate.” Liberation becomes a relative term, and most of the people “freed” by the United States become dependents of the federal government or are betrayed by the loose promises of “freedom and democracy.”

Syrian Conflict Explained: Highly restricted briefing document on Syria…...
Via Iver
President Assad (who is bad) is a nasty guy who got so nasty his people rebelled and the Rebels (who are good) started winning (Hurrah!).
But then some of the rebels turned a bit nasty and are now called the Islamic State (who are definitely bad!) and some continued to support democracy (who are still good).
So the Americans (who are good) started bombing Islamic State (who are bad) and giving arms to the Syrian Rebels (who are good) so they could fight Assad (who is still bad) which was good.
By the way, there is a breakaway state in the north run by the Kurds who want to fight IS (which is a good thing) but the Turkish authorities think they are bad, so we have to say they are bad whilst secretly thinking they're good and giving them guns to fight ISIS (which is good) but that is another matter.
Getting back to Syria......
So President Putin (who is bad, cos he invaded Crimea and Ukraine and killed lots of folks including all those people on board the Malaysian airliner and that nice Russian man in London with polonium poisoned sushi) has decided to back Assad (who is still bad) by attacking IS (who are also bad) which is sort of a good thing?
But Putin (still bad) thinks the Syrian Rebels (who are good) are also bad, and so he bombs them too, much to the annoyance of the Americans (who are good) who are busy backing and arming the rebels (who are also good).
Now Iran (who used to be bad but, now that they have agreed not to build any nuclear weapons and bomb Israel, are now good) are going to provide ground troops to support Assad (still bad) as are the Russians (bad) who now have ground troops and aircraft in Syria.
So a Coalition of Assad (still bad), Putin (extra bad) and the Iranians (good, but in a bad sort of way) are going to attack IS (who are bad) which is a good thing but also the Syrian Rebels (who are good) which is bad.
Now the British (obviously good, except that nice Mr Corbyn in the corduroy jacket who is probably bad) and the Americans (also good) cannot attack Assad (still bad) for fear of upsetting Putin (bad) and Iran (good / bad) and now they have to accept that Assad might not be that bad after all compared to IS (who are super bad). So Assad (bad) is now probably good, being better than IS (but let’s face it, drinking your own wee is better than IS so no real choice there) and since Putin and Iran are also fighting IS, that may now make them good.
America (still good) will find it hard to arm a group of rebels being attacked by the Russians for fear of upsetting Mr Putin (now good) and that nice mad Ayatollah in Iran (also good) and so they may be forced to say that the Rebels are now bad, or at the very least abandon them to their fate.
This will lead most of them to flee to Turkey and on to Europe or join IS (still the only constantly bad group).
To Sunni Muslims, an attack by Shia Muslims (Assad and Iran) backed by Russians will be seen as something of a Holy War: and the ranks of IS will now be seen by the Sunnis as the only Jihadis fighting in the Holy War and, hence, many Muslims will now see IS as good (Doh!).
Sunni Muslims will also see the lack of action by Britain and America in support of their Sunni rebel brothers as something of a betrayal (mmm…might have a point) and hence we will be seen as bad. So now we have America (now bad) and Britain (also bad) providing limited support to Sunni Rebels (bad) many of whom are looking to IS (good / bad) for support against Assad (now good) who, along with Iran (also good) and Putin (also, now, unbelievably, good) are attempting to retake the country Assad used to run before all this started? ……
I hope that clears all this up for you.

#BlackLivesMatter is a front for a Marxist takeover of our Country
Via Billy
The #BlackLivesMatter movement is not a movement against institutionalized racism in America. It cannot be, because institutionalized racism in America, for the most part, doesn’t exist. We have a black president (notice I didn’t say African-American), our schools are integrated, our military is integrated and opportunity abounds for those who seize it in this country.
No, BLM is simply a front for a Marxist takeover and destruction of what made this country great — freedom and individual responsibility. It is a threat from within. It is seditious garbage. It is Marxism pure and simple. The movement is being funded from outside and the youth of our country are being manipulated and brainwashed.
Most of the “protesters” in Charlotte were from out of state and paid from outside.

Voting for growth: Trump would shake up Hillary’s entrenched Washington
ANALYSIS/OPINION:
Voters must shake up Washington if they want a more prosperous future.
Janet Yellen and the Federal Reserve have pronounced 2 percent annual economic growth — perhaps a bit less — the new normal. Factoring in labor force growth that implies 1 percent growth for productivity and +* pre-tax wages, hardly anyone is average these days.
Workers are supporting — through taxes for government benefits — more retirees and prime-age adults who choose not to work at all.
Earned income from wages and other sources continues to become less equal. New technologies — robots in warehouses, apps that replace taxi dispatchers and the like — are eliminating jobs and driving down wages for ordinary workers. Meanwhile, those with degrees from the most prestigious universities or with training in science, engineering and technology enjoy rising incomes.

FBI Director James Comey EXPOSED: Received millions from Clinton Foundation, on their Corporate Partner Board, brother works for law firm that does Clinton Foundation taxes
REFRESHER:
Lead FBI agent John Giacalone abruptly resigned from the FBI in the middle of the investigation (February, 2016).
Pay-for-play involving the Clinton Foundation were not properly vetted, ultimately white washed
FBI agents were blocked from serving search warrants to retrieve key evidence
FBI agents were not allowed to interrogate witnesses and targets without warning
FBI agents had been trying to interview Clinton since December 2015, approval delayed by top brass
FBI agents believed Clinton case was being “slow-walked” to run-out-the-clock
FBI agents stunned that targets Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson were permitted to sit in on Hillary Clinton’s FBI interview.
Clinton and her closest aides cited "amnesia." In Clinton’s case she claimed due to medical complications.
Attempts to secure Clinton’s medical records to confirm her head injury were sabotaged by FBI Director James Comey
...and then, 3 days before the "investigation" ended, the Attorney General of the US met with the husband of the target of the investigation.

It appears that James Comey did not recommend federal charges against Hillary Clinton, in part because he is connected to the Clinton Foundation through the Swiss bank HSBC. More than 200 republicans sent a letter demanding to know why he didn’t recommend federal charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of private email servers. Clinton “clearly placed our nation’s secrets in peril,” the letter states. “No one is above the law, and the American people deserve a more robust explanation for your decision to not recommend criminal charges.”
According to Mini Planet ,a review of FBI Director James Comey’s professional history and relationships shows that the Obama cabinet leader — now under fire for his handling of the investigation of Hillary Clinton — is deeply entrenched in the big-money cronyism culture of Washington, D.C. His personal and professional relationships — all undisclosed as he announced the Bureau would not prosecute Clinton — reinforce bipartisan concerns that he may have politicized the criminal probe.

It was a fun event, but very hot. The whole town really gets into and supports this. One of the highlights for me was meeting a bombardier from a B-24. He had on one of those "WWII Veteran" caps. Then I noticed he had the names of three different Stalags (German POW camps) embroidered on the back. When I inquired he told the tale and was quite humorous about certain aspects of his ordeal. He was one of a very large group of veterans that the event organizer had bused in for special VIP treatment at the event.

Undocumented Shopping: Legacy of an African President
Headline on Drudge. THUGS OF CHARLOTTE WHITE MAN DRAGGED, BEATEN BEGGING FOR MERCY
Just another day at the Exceptional Nation. Racial attacks, racial threats, looting, burning. When I am politically upset, I loot stores. Don’t you?
It is worth understanding what we deal with. The video makes it clear.
The rioters grow in imagination. This time they tried to throw a photographer into a fire. There was stealing, of course. They steal in response to anything they don’t like. What they can’t lift, they break.
And they attack whites. It doesn’t matter to them who did what to whom. An African cop in an African city with an African police chief shoots an African criminal, and the rioters attack whites. In Milwaukee a black cop shot a black criminal and the tribesmen called for burning white suburbs. We seeing an episodic, one-sided–so far–race war. We will not admit it as then we would have to do something about it, and we do not know what.

Jon Voight: Donald Trump has no blood on his hands, as does Hillary.

A Hollywood powerhouse came forward this week to speak well of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. In an interview with Fox News, Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight called the candidate “an extraordinary fellow who has accomplished much in his life,” adding that Mr. Trump remains “clear and strong” even at the end of a 12-hour day — and is exceptionally considerate to event staff and other personnel he encounters on the campaign trail.
Mr. Voight grew blunt regarding Democratic rival Hillary Clinton during his interview with Fox anchor Neil Cavuto.

Video Surfaces Contradicting Hillary’s Claim That Trump “Fat Shamed” Miss Universe Winner

From BizPac Review:
CNN Tears Trump Apart For “Miss Piggy” Comment, But Yet They Fat Shamed Alicia Machado In 1997
From BizPac Review:
A 1997 video has surfaced showing former Miss Universe Alicia Machado laughing and being complimented by Donald Trump even while she tells the world what a monster he was to her.
Despite Machado’s claims that Trump called her “Miss Piggy” and shamed her for gaining weight as a contestant in the pageant, the video shows a very different relationship. In fact, Trump makes fun of his own weight and lack of exercise several times and pays the Venezuelan beauty queen a few compliments along the way.
It sure doesn’t look like the video backs up the former pageant queen’s claims her eating disorders were brought on by Trump’s awful behavior towards her

How Reuters "Tweaked" Its Latest Poll (Again) To Show A Clinton Lead: Actually A 2.5% lead for Trump
Via Billy
Reuters has taken some heat in recent months for "tweaking" their polling methodology seemingly every time the data reveals "inconvenient" results for Hillary (see our previous posts on the topic here and here). But the latest Reuters/Ipsos polling "tweak" is truly amazing. Having run out of options for slyly "tweaking" questions and categories to sway respondents in their preferred direction, Reuters has apparnetly resorted to blatant poll tampering by altering their polling samples to include a disproportionate number of democrats.
In their latest poll, released just two days ago, Reuters found Hillary to have a 6 point lead in a head-to-head contest with Trump. But, when you dig a little deeper you find that Reuters' polling sample included 44% democrats and only 33% republicans. Which would be fine, of course, if it had any basis in reality. But, as The Pew Research Center points out very clearly (see table abovebelow), registered democrats represent about 33% of the electorate while republicans are 29%...a modest 4 point gap versus the 11 point advantage in the Reuters sample.

Fallout From The Va Flaggers Anniversary Celebrations - Changing Hearts & Minds
Via Susan
Last week was a big one for us in many ways. We have already reported on the great turnout and successful fund raising at our picnic on Sunday, but it turns out that there are more far reaching effects than can be measured by head counts and calculator totals, and we wanted to share a couple of things with our friends and supporters.
On Saturday, the day before the picnic, we held our regularly scheduled flagging of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. On October 1st, we will mark FIVE years of (twice weekly) protests on the sidewalk on the Boulevard, and since we had friends and supporters coming in from out of town, we had a pretty good crowd, with over a dozen flaggers out forwarding the colors, lining the sidewalk in front of the VMFA.

Judge Andrew Napolitan: ‘Exonerate her at all costs, no matter what you see, because she’s got to be available to run against Donald Trump,'”
Via John
No one should ever forget the "tarmac meeting" between a compromised AG Loretta Lynch and Slick Willy his-self. It showed the fix was not only 'in' - it was going to be done in full view of everyone and therefore be as incredibly dismissive of both common sense and the American People. That is how confident these criminals are that they now own us. Hill and Bill have laughed their asses off at our expense. They've done it many times before and plan on continuing to do so for as long as we let them.
~ J.....
Opponents of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton were shocked when no charges were filed against her by the FBI following the investigation into her controversial homebrew email server.
Now, one conservative law expert thinks he knows why – the FBI was ordered to exonerate Clinton at all costs.
“Why the FBI would look the other way in the face of destruction of evidence and obstruction of justice is very telling,” Judge Andrew Napolitano said in an appearance on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” Monday.

Washington's Rye: How Did George Washington Make Whiskey?
Every student of history knows at least a brief sketch of the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794, but most people don’t realize that Alexander Hamilton’s excise tax on distilled spirits hit George Washington in the wallet as well, albeit years after the rebellion. He owned the largest distillery in Northern Virginia from 1797-1799 and shipped hundreds of gallons of moonshine to Alexandria during the fall as excess grains were converted to the “water of life.”
Thankfully you can still get your hands on a gallon of Washington’s Rye. Every fall, Mount Vernon produces bottles of the clear rot gut, along with apple brandy and other spirits. You have to pick the liquor up in person, but for those of you who live within driving distance of Washington’s estate, it might be worth a trip to the Potomac River highlands.
Washington was a Virginian first and foremost, a fact often lost in our “national” histories. Having a glass of rye produced on his land adds a nice touch to any Southern gathering if for no other reason than a conversation starter.

John C. Calhoun: Anti-Imperialist
The mission of the Abbeville Institute, to redeem what is worthwhile in the Southern tradition, is an embattled one. The dominant powers in American discourse today have succeeded in confining the South to a dark little corner of story labeled “Slavery and Treason.” This is already governing the public sphere of the Civil War Sesquicentennial. Such an approach not only libels the South, it is a fatal distortion of American history in general, and, I dare say, even of African-American history.
The old Radical Republican propaganda that portrays John C. Calhoun as a scheming fanatic who brought on civil war by his determination to spread slavery has re-emerged. A little over a half century ago, the historiographical picture was quite different. Margaret Coit’s admiring biography won a Pulitzer Prize. A leading expert on the subject wrote that Calhoun understood the mysteries of banking and money better than anyone else at the time. Numerous scholars, mostly of a liberal and progressive disposition, praised Calhoun’s concurrent majority as a brilliant and useful concept. A United States Senate Committee chaired by John F. Kennedy named Calhoun one of the five greatest Senators of all time.
One is tempted to conclude that historical knowledge is not cumulative and to agree with Orwell that who controls the present controls the past, and who controls the past controls the future. Certainly the present discourse reflects not historical judgment but a political/ideological agenda.
In the Jacksonian era, so-called, I have learned that one must not only look for political bias, one must look for comic book versions of history.

They are considered unique among the peoples of Pakistan.[3] They are also considered to be Pakistan's smallest religious community.[4]
The neighboring Nuristani people of the adjacent Nuristan (historically known as Kafiristan) province of Afghanistan once practiced the same religion as the Kalash. By the late 19th century much of Nuristan had been converted to Islam, although some evidence has shown the people continued to practice their customs. Over the years, the Nuristan region has also been the site of much war activity that has led to the death of many endemic Nuristanis and has seen an inflow of surrounding Afghans to claim the vacant region, who have since settled among with the remaining natives.[5][6][7] The Kalash of Chitral maintained their own separate cultural traditions.[8]

Burns Chronicles No 31 Public Lands – Part 3 The Queen Has Ruled – Off With Their Heads
In two previous articles, Shawna Cox brought the matter of Jurisdiction to the Court. The first, explained in “Public Lands – Part 1 – It’s a Matter of Jurisdiction“, was filed in response to the government’s “Motion for Judicial Notice” (1229), providing proof of ownership of the land upon which the MNWR headquarters sit. In that Motion, filed September 9, 2016, they cited no previous motion to which they were responding.
Shawna, based upon a chain of title that she had received, had no dispute with the ownership. However, neither the government’s request for judicial notice and attached documentation nor the chain of title provided any indication that the land, which both parties agreed, had been in private hands before the government reacquired it, had been ceded back to them by Oregon.
Shawna then filed her “Response to and Motion for Judicial Notice Regarding Ownership & Ceding of the MNWR Headquarters Area” (1245). In that Motion, she stipulated the government’s ownership and asked the Court to take Judicial Notice that the subject lands had not been ceded back to the federal government by Oregon. The Motion was quite simple and simply stated that since no proof of ceding had been provided, the Judicial Notice was in order.
The government then filed its Response (1272) to a number of motions, including Shawna’s Motion. Geoffrey A. Barrow, the attorney that signed the Response, apparently has a reading disorder.
Shawna never contested the government’s motion for judicial notice. Instead, she stipulated that they did own the land. However, he chose to read into her motion what he thought the Judge might like:

Of course, we won’t tell you what to do with the photo, but when we ran a picture of Hillary on the front of our newsletter, we heard it was very popular at the range," Grass Roots North Carolina's web page publicizing the raffle reads. The post predicts there will be "panic buying" if Clinton is elected, meaning "there won’t be a gun (or ammunition) available for love nor money" if the Democrat wins.
