Vicente Antonio Bermudez Zacarias, a Mexican federal judge who handled cases related to organized crime, was gunned down by an unknown assailant in Mexico state on Monday morning, dying on the way to the hospital.
 
Bermudez, 37, was shot in the head at point-blank range while jogging near his home in the town of Metepec.

Obama’s half-brother will be at Vegas debate cheering for Trump

 President Obama’s Kenyan-born, half-brother Malik will be in the audience in Las Vegas Wednesday night when Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton square off in their third and final debate.

Malik — an American citizen who lives in Washington, DC, when he’s not in Kenya — says he will be a guest of Trump, the Republican nominee he supports for president.

“I’m excited to be at the debate. Trump can make America great again,” Malik told The Post.

“I look very much forward to meeting and being with Malik,” Trump said. “He gets it far better than his brother.”

Clinton Did Not See North Korea Or Russia As Threats, Leaked Speeches Reveal

Despite seeing global foreign policy dangers as the Democratic nominee for president, Hillary Clinton did not view North Korea or Russia as a threat to the United States in 2013, according to speeches released by WikiLeaks.

 

In a presentation to the National Multi-Housing Council on Apr. 24, 2013, Clinton responded to a question, “How afraid should we be of North Korea?” by saying: “You know, right now, it’s not a direct threat to the United States. It is, however, a threat to our treaty allies in South Korea and Japan.

It is also a source of instability on the Korean peninsula that could have, you know, ramifications for the region and our interests in the region.”

Trump vows to fight for congressional term limits if elected

Donald Trump added a new proposal to his recently unveiled ethics reforms package on Tuesday, promising to pursue a constitutional amendment that would impose term limits on members of Congress should he win the election on Nov. 8.

"If I'm elected president, I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress," the Republican presidential hopeful told supporters at his afternoon rally in Colorado Springs, Colo. "Decades of failure in Washington and decades of special interest dealings must and will come to an end."

Establishing term limits at the federal level would help "break the cycle of corruption" that has plagued Washington and "give new voices to change so that we can have a government that works again and can function properly," Trump argued.

Wikileaks said Tuesday that Secretary of State John Kerry asked Ecuador to stop WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, from publishing leaked emails that could disrupt peace negotiations with a guerrilla group in Colombia.

Assange, who has been in refuge in Ecuador’s embassy in London for more than four years, saw his access to the internet cut over the weekend.

Most Say Media, Not Russians, Tilting the Election

 

Most voters aren’t buying the story that the Russians are trying to manipulate the election for Donald Trump but think the U.S. media is trying to swing things for Hillary Clinton.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it’s more likely that many in the media are working to get Clinton elected president. Just 26% disagree and say it’s more likely that the Russian government is working to get Trump elected.

In what sense is the system rigged?

Consider Big Media — the elite columnists and commentators, the dominant national press, and the national and cable networks, save FOX. Not in this writer’s lifetime has there been such blanket hatred and hostility of a presidential candidate of a major party.

The mother of a Benghazi victim who blames Hillary Clinton for her son’s death will attend the third presidential debate on Wednesday — as a VIP guest of Donald Trump.

Pat Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, a State Department IT consultant killed during the terrorist attack in Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, told Yahoo News she would accept the mogul’s invitation to the final showdown between the candidates in Las Vegas.

“I want to look in Hillary’s eyes, and have her lie to me again,” Smith told Yahoo News.
