Rev. Graham: Leftist Progressives 'Want to Destroy the President'
Via Billy
Commenting on the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise (R-La.) and three other people by a left-wing Bernie Sanders-supporter on Wednesday, Reverend Franklin Graham said "leftist progressives" will not "let go of losing the election" and "they want to destroy the president."
In a June 15 post on Facebook, Rev. Graham said, "Where did all of this political hatred come from?
One party hating the other so badly. No compromising. No cooperation. No camaraderie."
"Some are saying the shooting of GOP House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was caused by ‘political rhetorical terrorism,'" said Graham. "Think about it. Plays and music videos said to be depicting the assassination of the president, a comedian holding up the decapitated likeness of the head of the president. Relentless, hate-filled rhetoric."

A Long History of Leftist Hatred

James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois, who aspired to end his life as a mass murderer of Republican Congressmen, was a Donald Trump hater and a Bernie Sanders backer.
Like many before him, Hodgkinson was a malevolent man of the hating and hard left.
His planned atrocity failed because two Capitol Hill cops were at that Alexandria baseball field, providing security for House Whip Steve Scalise. Had those cops not been there, a massacre would have ensued with many more dead than the gunman.

Judicial Watch Sues for Comey Memo
Via Bill
Judicial Watch today announced it filed a Freedom of Information (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for information about former FBI Director James Comey’s memorandum written after his meeting with President Trump regarding potential interference by the Russians in the 2016 presidential election (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-01189)
The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the Department of Justice failed to respond to a May 16 FOIA request seeking:
The memorandum written by former Director
James Comey memorializing his meeting and conversation with President
Trump regarding the FBI’s investigation of potential Russian
interference in the 2016 United States presidential election. For
purposes of clarification, this memorandum was reportedly written on or
about February 13, 2017 and is the subject of a New York Times article … dated May 16, 2017.
Judicial Watch is pursuing six FOIA lawsuits (see here, here, here, here and here) related to the surveillance, unmasking, and illegal leaking targeting President Trump and his associates during the FBI’s investigation of potential Russian involvement.
“That we have to sue in federal court to get a document that was read to a reporter at The New York Times is a scandal,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “This Comey memo should be released forthwith and, frankly, the president can and should order its immediate release.”
Separately, Judicial Watch yesterday sent Acting FBI Director Andrew G. McCabe a warning letter concerning the FBI’s legal responsibility under the Federal Records Act (FRA) to recover records, including memos Comey subsequently leaked to the media, unlawfully removed from the Bureau by Comey.
Bill O’Reilly Assembling Production Team to Launch New Project
Via Billy
Ever since Bill O’Reilly left Fox News in April, there has been an ongoing discussion on what his next career move might be. Well it appears that we are soon about to find out.
Mediaite has learned that a producer recently resigned from a Fox News program citing plans to join O’Reilly in a new online video project that is soon to launch. The producer also added that there are broadcast plans to follow shortly as well , but did not reveal any specifics beyond that.
When reached for comment, O’Reilly told Mediaite “We are assembling a team of journalists and are considering a number of options as BillOReilly.com is quickly developing into a major enterprise.”

Yankee Finance Capitalism Part III: The Creature from Jekyll Island
The endurance of the system of Jeffersonian finance based upon the Independent Treasury system was remarkable given the post war transformation of the United States from an agrarian country to an industrial one. Tariff rates had increased, large subsidies were being awarded to the railroads, and the federal government drifted slowly but inexorably toward imperialism. The last major Jeffersonian edifice, the Independent Treasury, fell to the new Federal Reserve Bank (hereafter FRB) in 1913.

Obama era-bureaucrats 'waiting Trump out,' block IRS, Fast and Furious probes
Via Billy
Republican hopes that the election of President Trump would open
the federal government's vaults to investigators probing Obama-era
scandals including Fast and Furious and the IRS have died as burrowed-in
workers try to "wait out" until the president leaves office, said a top
House GOP member.
In a blunt exit interview, retiring Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the outgoing chairman of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee, said stonewalling by agencies is just as bad as it was during the Obama era.
"I think if we went to the senior most people, even the president himself, they would be pulling their hair out and they would hate to hear that but within the bowels of the organization, they just seem to circle the wagons and think, oh we just, we can just wait you out. We can just wait you out," he said on the upcoming Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, airing Sunday.
But Chaffetz, who surprised Washington when he announced his retirement set for June 30, also hit the president, top appointees and even congressional Republicans for refusing to play offense.

The politically motivated assassination attempt of a Republican congressman this week is further proof that we need to improve our "lethal politics," the New York Times declared in an editorial.
The Gray Lady and others could make a start by ending their slander of conservatives. But The Times has no such instinct or apparent intention. Instead it dusted off a 6-year-old lie alleging former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin incited a mass shooting in Tucson, Ariz., which left six people dead and more than a dozen wounded, including former Rep. Gabby Giffords.
The paper's editorial board wrote that "the link to political incitement was clear." This is a lie. No clear link was established with Palin, and the Tucson shooter, Jared Lee Loughner, was reportedly apolitical. His obsession with Giffords started before Palin became nationally known in 2008.

Deadly London Tower Fire Fueled By ‘Green Energy’ Rules
Via Iver
London’s Grenfell Tower was made worse by government “green energy requirements” that allowed fire to rapidly engulf the building Wednesday, leaving at least 17 people dead and scores more wounded or missing.
While it’s unknown what sparked the fire, experts say that the cladding, or exterior insulation, created a chimney effect through which the fire rapidly spread upwards. The cladding was added to Grenfell’s exterior in 2015 as part of a $12.8 million retrofit.
“I have never seen a fire that has engulfed an entire building like this in a career of more than 30 years,” Matt Wrack, who heads the Fire Brigades Union, told The Telegraph.
“It could be that this is the quest for sustainability trumping other concerns,” echoed Dr. Jim Glockling of the Fire Protection Association.
“There has been an emerging body of evidence surrounding some of the materials being used and now we have an appalling demonstration of what can happen,” Glockling said.

Trump and the Presidency
Dear Fellow American,
Donald Trump's election gave voice to the growing conviction of many Americans that their elected officials had strayed from their constitutional obligations—that they had been derelict in allowing the destruction of limited government.
President Trump has identified a number of critical issues for our country: eliminating regulations, cutting taxes, creating jobs, enforcing immigration laws, and fixing healthcare. We will see if the President can play a critical role in shaping policy in these areas. Whether he is successful will have impact for generations to come.
But already there is much, and growing, resistance to what the President proposes be done.
This raises important questions: What is the extent and what are the limits of presidential power in regard to public policy? What is the proper relation of the president with the other two constitutional branches? And what is his relation to the “fourth branch”—the enormous federal bureaucracy?
Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.”
In that spirit, I invite you to join Hillsdale College's 10-session online course, “The Presidency and the Constitution.” You'll learn from our politics department faculty about the design of the executive branch in Article II; how Progressives contrived new, wide-ranging powers for the executive; and what it would take to restore limited government.
The opportunity for constitutional renewal in America is greater than it has been in decades. But it will require rededicated efforts by “We the People” - the true and only sovereign source of authority under the Constitution - to see this work through.
Register Now for Hillsdale College's online course, “The Presidency and the Constitution.” There's no charge to participate, and I know you will learn much that is valuable and useful.
Warm Regards,
Larry P. Arnn

The shooting at a Republican baseball practice in Virginia shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s the result of months of establishment agitprop. From Kathy Griffin posing with Trump’s severed head to a Trump-like Julius Caesar killed in Central Park play, the media has fixated on strife between the two establishment parties.
This isn’t an accident.

Pollsters miss mark again on Trump voters in Virginia Republican governor’s primary
Pollsters had major trouble spotting the surge of support for Corey Stewart in Virginia’s Republican governor’s primary this week, suggesting they still can’t figure out how to successfully survey Trump supporters.
Mr. Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors and onetime Trump campaign chairman in Virginia, ran as the Trump figure in the race, pursuing an anti-establishment message that centered around a tough approach to illegal immigration.
Polling — which was strikingly infrequent — showed Mr. Stewart failing to crack 20 percent support, trailing Ed Gillespie, the putative front-runner, by as much as 27 percent. In the end, Mr. Gillespie nipped Mr. Stewart by just 1 point, 44 percent to 43 percent. That left a lot of Trump-style Stewart supporters hidden in earlier polls.
Michael McKenna, a Virginia-based pollster and strategist, said the results should be another wake-up call.
