Vice President Mike Pence said Tuesday that states should decide
whether to remove their Confederate statues from the U.S. Capitol, and
said he believes more monuments should be built to celebrate those who
have helped the U.S. progress.
"I hold the view that it's important that we remember our past and
build on the progress that we've made," Pence told Fox News. "[In] the
United States Capitol, every state is able to donate two statues to
commemorate citizens they want to be remembered in the heart of our
government. States can make those decisions."
"What we have to
walk away from is the desire by some to erase parts of our history just
in the name of some contemporary political cause," he said.
It's still a long way off, but gamblers are betting on a fairly easy re-election bid for President Trump in 2020 against rising Democrats including Sens. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and former first lady Michelle Obama.
The gambling site Betonline.ag puts Trump's odds at 5 to 2, the best of over a dozen potential candidates.
What's more, they aren't betting for Trump to be impeached or lose his Twitter account.
However, bettors are hedging, picking Vice President Mike Pence as their second favorite in the 2020 presidential race.
"Trump is currently a 5/2 favorite to win. Mike Pence (6/1) and
Elizabeth Warren (10/1) are close behind with Michelle Obama and Bernie
Sanders both sitting at 16/1 odds to win. [Sen.] Kamala Harris and
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg are now listed at 20/1. [House Speaker] Paul
Ryan is 28/1," the betting website told Secrets.
Nationalism In Po-Dunk – PA
Kid Rock’s people in rural Michigan are giving the middle finger to the
conservatives who had stabbed them in the back, and to the liberals who
want them blended out of existence. “Po-Dunk” follows the same angry
current as that of Michigan’s other native son, Michael Moore, who
featured those same people in his unintentionally pro-Trump campaign
video. Did you forget about Moore’s “Biggest Fuck You in Human History”?
I didn’t.
Yes, on November 8, you — Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob
Blow, Billy Blow, Billy-Bob Blow, all the Blows — get to go and blow up
the whole goddamned system because it’s your right. Trump’s election is
going to be the biggest “Fuck You” ever recorded in human history and it
will feel good. — Michael Moore
“Po-Dunk”
Momma looking good in some jeans all ripped
Got a baby in her belly and a baby on her hip
Little towheaded rascal peeing off the porch
Daddy got a shotgun looking for a stork
(Oh Lord)
And that’s po (po) dunk (dunk)
Don’t give a flying hillbilly fuck
I said po (po) dunk (dunk)
House full of youngins and a yard full of junk
Love us if you can, sorry if you can’t
Holla if you is, shut up if you ain’t
Po-oh-oh-oh-whoaoh, po-dunk!
Bible by the bed and a bottle sitting pretty
Pigskin on the TV, bacon in a skillet
An old mutt in the yard licking on an itch
Bunch of fake flamingos flocking by the ditch
(Can I get a witness?)
And that’s po (po) dunk (dunk)
Don’t give a flying hillbilly fuck
I said po (po) dunk (dunk)
A yard full of chickens and a barn full of drunks
Love us if you can, sorry if you can’t
Holla if you is, shut up if you ain’t
Po-oh-oh-oh-whoaoh, po-dunk!
Po-dunk!
Put your adult beverage over your head
If you’re bat shit crazy and your neck is red
As the dirt on the road where we all grew up
Sing something with me if you ain’t nothing but…
(You ain’t nothing but, you ain’t nothing but…)
Po (po) dunk (dunk)
Don’t give a flying hillbilly fuck
I said po (po) dunk (dunk)

After some Confederate statue-topplings, but before any Confederate
book burnings, California protesters are now targeting a horse. A
beautiful Arabian.
The creature’s unforgivable crime? His name is similar to the horse
ridden by Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee 152 years ago, Traveler. Only
Lee’s horse used two L’s–Traveller.
Historians have long debated the causes of the war and the Southern
perspective differs greatly from the Northern perspective. Based upon
the study of original documents of the War Between The States (Civil
War) era and facts and information published by Confederate Veterans,
Confederate Chaplains, Southern writers and Southern Historians before,
during, and after the war, I present the facts, opinions, and
conclusions stated in the following article.
Technically the 10 causes listed are reasons for Southern secession.
The only cause of the war was that the South was invaded and responded
to Northern aggression.
I respectfully disagree with those who claim that the War Between
the States was fought over slavery or that the abolition of slavery in
the Revolutionary Era or early Federal period would have prevented war.
It is my opinion that war was inevitable between the North and South due
to complex political and cultural differences. The famous Englishman
Winston Churchill stated that the war between the North and South was
one of the most unpreventable wars in history. The Cause that the
Confederate States of America fought for (1861-1865) was Southern
Independence from the United States of America. Many parallels exist
between the War for American Independence (1775-1783) and the War for
Southern Independence.
There were 10 political causes of the war (causes of Southern
Secession) ---one of which was slavery--- which was a scapegoat for all
the differences that existed between the North and South. The Northern
industrialists had wanted a war since about 1830 to get the South's
resources (land-cotton-coal-timber-minerals) for pennies on the dollar.
All wars are economic and are always between centralists and
decentralists. The North would have found an excuse to invade the South
even if slavery had never existed.
A war almost occurred during 1828-1832 over the tariff when South
Carolina passed nullification laws. The U.S. congress had increased the
tariff rate on imported products to 40% (known as the tariff of
abominations in Southern States). This crisis had nothing to do with
slavery. If slavery had never existed --period--or had been eliminated
at the time the Declaration of Independence was written in 1776 or
anytime prior to 1860 it is my opinion that there would still have been a
war sooner or later.
On a human level there were 5 causes of the war--New England
Greed-New England Radicals--New England Fanatics--New England
Zealots--and New England Hypocrites. During "So Called Reconstruction" (
1865-1877 ) the New England Industrialists got what they had really
wanted for 40 years--THE SOUTH'S RESOURCES FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR. It
was a political coalition between the New England economic interests
and the New England fanatics and zealots that caused Southern secession
to be necessary for economic survival and safety of the population.
The University of Texas at Austin silently removed three Confederate
statues late Sunday night, just 10 days before classes begin.
Officials removed
the statues depicting Robert E. Lee, Albert Sidney, and John Reagan,
according to the Texas Tribune. University President Greg Fenves said
that the statues were removed because the images “run counter to the
university’s core values,” according to a released statement.
President Donald Trump has a massive campaign rally in Phoenix,
Arizona, tonight. Lines to enter the event are already very long, which
presents a security risk… especially after Charlottesville and recent
acts of violence caused by angry liberals.
The Bikers for Trump chapter in Arizona will be out in full force to protect Trump-supporting patriots from the angry domestic terrorists, Antifa.
As Steven Emery posted on the official Facebook page of Bikers for Trump. His message shows that they are not messing around:
Hundreds
gathered at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Tuesday
night to protest for the removal of a Confederate statue at the campus.
Demonstrators gathered around the bronze soldier known as "Silent Sam" calling for the Confederate statue to be torn down.
Video by local news outlet WRAL
showed people chanting "No KKK! No Fascist USA!" and others yelling,
"This is Silent Sam's last semester! We will not be silenced by wealthy
alumni and the police!"
Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince said that he “woke up in a bad mood
and decided someone shouldn’t be allowed on the internet” following his
company’s decision to terminate service for neo-Nazi site The Daily
Stormer last week.
However, in 2015, Prince defended himself after facing pressure to rescind service to ISIS-affiliated sites.
