Does E-Verify Create a National I.D.?
Via Billy
Eagle Forum has sent out multiple emails in support of Rep. Bob Goodlatte’s (R-VA) Securing America’s Future Act (H.R. 4760). Recently, there has been quite a bit of misinformation spreading about the bill, specifically on E-Verify. Some news outlets have reported that it will create a national identification card with biometrics. That is simply not true. On page 125 of H.R. 4760, the bill retains the current statutory prohibition on the E-Verify system being used as a national identification card.

How Is It Possible The The Democrats are This Stupid?

If all those optics weren't bad enough we then got the spectacle of the
newest Kennedy iconography presenting the so-called "Democratic
Response". Firstly nobody in their right mind thinks Droolin' Joe
Kennedy wrote that awful speech.
Seriously at first look all I could think of was Bevis getting wasted on paint thinner. Beyond that, after lecturing us for a year or more about "toxic, white male privilege" I don't think they could picked anyone who is more of an elite, toxic, white privileged male. Just what is it about being a Kennedy that entitles you to a seat in Congress from Massachusetts or Rhode Island? Who's brilliant idea was it to pose a Kennedy in front of an apparently non functioning automobile? Beyond the hood being up the only thing missing was an empty liquor bottle, a dead body and a discarded neck brace. I'm sure I could find a rusted out old Buick for the next go round.
I can only conclude at this point that either the Democrats have gone completely brain dead or the Republicans have a mole deeply embedded on the DNC strategic planning group. Either way, it's working out brilliantly...for the Republicans.
I just can't understand it. The Democrats aren't really this stupid are
they? The do know that teleVISION is a visual medium right? I mean good
grief every political consultant in the country and beyond knows that
people key on visual perceptions much more strongly than verbal ones.
Just dig up Richard Nixon and ask him how that televised debate worked
out.
Seriously did nobody tell Nancy beforehand that looking like you were choking on her own bile was not a good image? Could they not figure out, especially after this year's NFL season, that sitting on their hands while the President talks about respecting our nation's flag is a visual that will be used against them? It was like the entire broadcast was a custom made opportunity for Republican video tape editors.

Jim Caviezel: ‘Passion of the Christ’ Sequel Will Be ‘Biggest Film in History’
Jim Caviezel, the actor who memorably portrayed Jesus in director Mel Gibson’s 2004 blockbuster The Passion of the Christ, says that Gibson is planning a sequel that will be “the biggest film in history. It’s that good.”
The Passion is already one the biggest films in history. Fourteen years on it still holds the domestic box office record for an R-rated movie ($371 million). From Gethsemane to Golgotha, The Passion told the story of the last 12 hours of Christ’s life — his arrest, trials, torture, and crucifixion. The Faithful turned out in droves despite an unprecedented campaign within the elite media to smear a film they had not seen as anti-Semitic — which it is not.The 49-year-old Caviezel says he is back on board to portray Jesus. The story will reportedly revolve around Christ’s resurrection. “There are things that I cannot say that will shock the audience,” he told USA Today. “It’s great. Stay tuned.”

The Plundered South
Address by Sam H. Jones, Governor of Louisiana to the Southern Farm Bureau Training School, Monroe, La., August 18, 1943
The history of mankind relates many stories where superior military force has conquered nations of superior civilization. In the wake of overwhelming brute force the great citadels of culture and economic and social progress have fallen never to rise again. Egypt, Byzantium, Greece and Rome are but comparatively modern examples of these uncommendable sporadic outbreaks that unfortunately have characterized the course of mankind—and littered the rugged pathway of civilization’s struggle upward.
But here in America, for more than a hundred years, we have witnessed and lived through a more refined version of the same process—a process that has for its purpose the reduction of the fairest portion of our country to the permanent status of a conquered province—and the thwarting even of the laws of nature to perpetuate this unthinkable injustice. For more than a hundred years the Southern part of the United States has been the victim of a studied plan to overcome its superior economic advantages and reduce it to a state of economic vassalage.

ICE chief rips liberals: 'Sick and tired' of them trashing border cops

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan blasted Congress on Wednesday for its decades-long failure to fix the root causes of illegal immigration, and warned against giving Democrats an extension of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program without real border security measures.
"If we get a clean DACA bill, shame on all of us. You can’t address DACA and reward people that brought children here illegally and not address underlying reasons of DACA," Homan told around 200 ICE officers, Border Patrol agents, and Department of Homeland Security officials here at the Border Security Expo on Wednesday.
He said the time for "kicking this can down the road" has passed.

Devin Nunes to FBI: 'No surprise' to see FBI and DOJ's 'spurious objections' to allowing public to see FISA memo
The clash between House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and the FBI continued to simmer on Wednesday when the California Republican said that once “the truth gets out” about the classified memo his staff put together, “we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.”
In a statement, Nunes said it is “no surprise” to see the FBI and Department of Justice “issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies.”

Nobody really expects the political operative careerists at the FBI or the DOJ to just give up and go away without a very nasty fight. As the scandle gets deeper and deeper it's now looking like Andrew McCabe is being set up as the fall guy, or more like the public is being set up to accept him as the fall guy so that the rest of the bad actors can escape with their positions, power and pensions intact so as to continue to wage behind the scenes warfare against the President.
I have no doubt that McCabe has been told to fall on his sword in exchange for escaping prosecution and a fat numbered bank account somewhere untraceable.

Boeing wins $1.1 billion bonanza from GOP tax overhaul
Boeing, the planemaker behind one of the world’s most widely used single-aisle jets as well as the aircraft flown by U.S. presidents, received a $1.1 billion windfall from tax cuts approved late last year.
The gain was primarily due to a reduction in tax liabilities from previous years, which will be lower under the new top corporate rate of 21 percent than under the previous levy of 35 percent, the Chicago-based company said Wednesday. That helped boost net income 92 percent to $3.13 billion in the three months through December, building on delivery of a record 209 commercial jetliners, including the revamped and more fuel-efficient single-aisle 737.
The tax cuts will enable Boeing to spend $300 million in targeted areas including staff training and "workplace of the future" upgrades, CEO Dennis Muilenburg told reporters, with more investments to come.

division – followed up after an initial review of the memo during a rare

The White House now has in its hands Mr. Nunes‘ latest revelation: his top-secret, four-page memo outlining supposed abuses in the Justice Department during months of Trump surveillance.
Whether it was how the FBI used a Democrat-financed dossier or why the special counsel fired his top FBI agent or how many Trump associates were “unmasked” in wiretap spying, Mr. Nunes has unearthed facts that otherwise likely would have remained hidden.

Eight in 10 Americans who watched tonight felt that the president was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it. Two-thirds said the speech made them feel proud, though just a third said it made them feel safer. Fewer said the speech made them feel angry or scared.

Virginia General Assembly kills legislation to let cities remove Confederate statues
Recycled talking points from Republican Ed Gillespie's gubernatorial campaign weren't enough to save legislation to make it easier for Virginia localities to decide the fate of their Confederate statues.
Early
Wednesday morning, a House of Delegates subcommittee overwhelmingly
voted down a series of bills to facilitate the removal or relocation of
Confederate monuments.
Because
another panel already voted down a similar bill in the Senate,
Wednesday's vote means that Virginia, a state steeped in Civil War
history that has more Confederate monuments than anywhere else in the
country, won't be getting rid of its memorials to the Lost Cause any
time soon.

Charlottesville Defendants Update

Dennis Motherbaugh, after a temporary failure in his planned transportation plans was overcome when a White rights supporter voluntarily offered up their family’s rent money in order to buy him a bus ticket home, is out of jail finally and done with the travesty of justice which took place, and is still taking place, in Charlottesville.
James Alex Fields, the driver whose car was assaulted, causing him to lose control and hit some anti-White protesters unlawfully blocking traffic in the street, is still being held awaiting trial.
Richard Preston, 52, faces charges of discharging a weapon within 1000 feet of a school (which was not in session at the time, as August 12th, 2017 was a Saturday) for firing a warning shot at a black terrorist using an improvised flamethrower against unarmed Whites.
Tyler Watkins Davis, 49, has been arrested in Florida on a warrant out of Charlottesville for defending himself against Deandre Harris, who was recently pulled over for speeding while out on bond for assault himself and found to be in possession of illegal drugs and a loaded, chambered AR-15 concealed in the back seat of his car.
Jacob Goodwin, who turned 23 in jail, is expecting another bail hearing in the near future.
Jacob Goodwin
#634728, 160 Peregory Ln, Charlottesville, VA 22902
The next trial dates will be in March. Jacob’s lawyer plans on asking for bail once again, based on Deandre Harris’s medical records which show that no physical injuries were sustained by Mr. Harris through his brief contact with Mr. Goodwin. Therefore, the state’s charge of ‘Malicious Wounding’ has no legal basis on which to continue. Depending on what level of bail is set, Jacob’s parents MAY have enough to have him let out to stay with a local member of the community. If a high bail is set, they do not. However, the monthly house arrest fee which is expected to accompany such a release until Jacob’s trial begins in May will be very expensive, around $400 per month. Your donations to help with this next stage of Jacob’s legal battle are greatly appreciated. You may use a credit or debit card or paypal to donate here, or you can send concealed cash or checks made out to “Goodwin” to: 13952 Libby Lane, Ward, Arkansas, 72176
You can also make direct contributions to Jacob’s canteen fund, to help him get better food, toiletries, and other small luxury items, here.
Thank you for continuing to pray for the Charlottesville defendants, and for your continued support of their families.

Tonight’s State
of the Union speech was a triumph for President Trump. The speech was
excellent, and Trump knew it cold and delivered it effectively.
The president began with a recitation of his administration’s achievements that was truly impressive.
Trump emphasized, appropriately, the remarkable gains our economy has made in just one year.
The president’s reception by most in the House chamber was rapturous, which must have been an eye-opener for some who watched. For the Democrats, the optics were very bad. They ostentatiously refused to stand or even applaud, even in response to the least controversial passages in Trump’s speech. One of the most striking visuals was of the Democrats’ Black Caucus refusing to stand for, or even applaud, the lowest African-American unemployment rate in history.
