Goodies From Ol' Remus
"There are many who, I'm sure, will say I'm over-reading this. Nope. You're wrong. I have studied history for decades, from times long gone to far more-recent examples, and this is an unbroken pattern.
Don Surber - Volume of lies sank Judge Roy Moore ... the sheer volume
of claims was enough to defeat him and hand Marxist Democrats a Senate
seat
Cholesterol, Reason - A comprehensive new study on cholesterol, based on results from more than a million patients, could help upend decades of government advice about diet, nutrition, health, prevention, and medication. According to the study, statins are pointless for most people. No evidence exists to prove that having high levels of bad cholesterol causes heart disease, leading physicians have claimed. Heart attack patients were shown to have lower than normal cholesterol levels of LDL-C, and older people with higher levels of bad cholesterol tend to live longer than those with lower levels. There's a growing consensus among nutrition scientists that cholesterol in food has little effect on the amount of cholesterol in the bloodstream. This was the trial run, the "proof of concept" for the Kavanaugh takedown
Working class, Unz Review - Now, OK, I know you’re probably asking, “how can the international working classes possibly be the enemy of the Left?” They are racists. They are misogynists. Xenophobic transphobes. They do not think the way we want them to. Some of them actually still believe in God. They are white supremacists. Anti-Semites. Gun-toting, Confederate-flag-flying rednecks. Their minds are so twisted they can’t understand how the replacement of their so-called “cultures” with an ubiquitous, smiley-faced, gender-neutral, non-oppressive, corporate-friendly, Disney simulation of culture are actually wonderfully progressive steps forward on the road to a more peaceful, less offensive world.
McConnell: Senate will hold Kavanaugh vote 'this week'
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said the Senate will hold a vote on Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination this week.
"The time for endless delay and obstruction has come to a close. Judge Kavanaugh's nomination is out of committee. We're considering it here on the floor and ... we'll be voting this week," McConnell said.
McConnell's comments, made during a Senate floor speech, comes as the FBI has to wrap up its investigation into multiple sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh by Friday.

Prosecutor: Christine Blasey Ford Doesn’t Know if Polygraph Was on Day of Grandmother’s Funeral Two Months Ago
Talking about a red flag.
The final Senate report from Rachel Mitchell, the sex crimes prosecutor who interviewed Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford, questions Blasey Ford’s “struggle to recall important recent events” such as whether she took her polygraph test the same day as her grandmother’s funeral.
Appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee last Thursday, Blasey Ford — the California professor who brought forth an allegation of teenage sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee — said she did not know whether her polygraph examination less than two months ago occurred on the same day her grandmother was buried. This discrepancy is listed among nine categories of strikes against Blasey Ford’s testimony which led Mitchell to conclude her account did not meet the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard.

Fred at his Best! Kavanaugh Gang-Rapes Collie in Satanic Ritual: College Boys in KKK Robes Chant “Hitler! Hitler! Hitler!”
Oh God. Oh God. Is there no surcease? I know, silly question. Squalling protesters: Half of the country seems fifteen years younger than its chronological age. Staged ire. Sordid passion of the herd. Hysteria. Irrationality. Werid accusations. Savage feminists. As per custom, it is all about how horrible men are.
One of the sillier sillinesses of feminists regarding us men, of whom they seem to know little, is that we hate women, scorn them, want to abuse and hurt them and, most especiall, gang-rape them. See, men view rape casually. It’s just something to do in a moment of boredom. Like scratching, or wondering where we left our keys. It’s because of our misogyny. The Sisterhood seems to love misogyny, pray for misogyny, invent misogyny because without it life would be bleak and devoid of meaning.

Will America Once Again Abandon Its Christian Montagnard Allies?
Via Terry via Knuckledraggin' My Life Away
The Montagnard tribes in the Central Highlands were among our most loyal allies in the fight against the communists during the Vietnam War. They fought alongside the U.S. Special Forces in epic battles and rescued countless Americans, including pilots, crews, and aircraft passengers. More than half of the Montagnards' adult male population was lost fighting for and in the place of Americans. Without their sacrifice, there would be many more names on that somber black granite wall – the Vietnam Memorial.

' The title of this article has one more line in it that would have made
it too long for a title. That line is “And there is nothing new under
the sun.” This is taken from the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible.
It’s sort of a paraphrase of the 9th verse of chapter one–not an exact rendering, but close enough so you get the idea. Nowhere is this more applicable than in Washington, D.C. the District of Corruption.

Donald Trump celebrates Nafta replacement as ‘historic’ trade agreement with Canada and Mexico
The agreement largely spared Canada and Mexico from threatened auto tariffs, which the Trump administration is still studying; the deal could score political points for Trump ahead of the midterm elections in November
President Donald Trump celebrated a trade deal
with Canada and Mexico to replace Nafta as a “historic” win that
vindicated his strategy of threatening tariffs on trade partners.
Trump called the accord “the most important
trade deal we’ve ever made by far.” He predicted the renamed
US-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA, would “easily” pass Congress after
he signs it by late November.
The new agreement makes modest revisions to a
trade deal Trump once called a “disaster,” easing uncertainty for
companies reliant on tariff-free commerce among the three countries.

Prosecutor Who Questioned Ford Shreds Her Case In Five-Page Memo
Rachel Mitchell, the prosecutor who questioned Christine Blasey Ford last week during a hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, wrote a five-page memo that was released on Sunday that outlines why she would not bring criminal charges against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Mitchell's memo notes nine significant problems with Ford's testimony and underscores that her case is "even weaker" than a "he said, she said" case.
"A 'he said, she said' case is incredibly difficult to prove," Mitchell states. "But this case is even weaker than that. Dr. Ford identified other witnesses to the event, and those witnesses either refuted her allegations or failed to corroborate them. For the reasons discussed below, I do not think that a reasonable prosecutor would bring this case based on the evidence before the Committee. Nor do I believe that this evidence is sufficient to satisfy the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard."
Here are the nine problems outlined in Mitchell's memo:
