Mexico Deploying 15,000 Troops To U.S. Border To Stop Illegal Immigration Into U.S.

Mexican Secretary of Defense Luis Sandoval said on Monday that Mexico is deploying thousands of soldiers to the U.S.-Mexico border to help stop the massive flow of illegal immigration into the United States.

"Mexico has deployed almost 15,000 troops to the US-Mexico border to curve migration flow," CNN reporter Nick Valencia tweeted. "An additional ~2,000 National Guard elements have also been deployed across the country’s southern border with Guatemala & Belize.: MX Secretary of Defense Luis Sandoval."

Are There Any Right-Wing Sociologists?

Via Tedmund

 UNZ

The various London School of Economics left-wing sociologists are sure there must be one out there somewhere, but they can’t think of any off the top of their heads.

The young guy in the video, Sam Friedman, should write dialogue for Jeremy on Peep Show.

Does anybody pay attention to sociology anymore?

Ironically, one glamorous young sociologist Alice Goffman is the child of glamorous 1960s sociologist Erving Goffman, who was a main man in getting lunatic asylums shut down, which is what created homelessness. While the two sociologists, father and daughter, share equally disastrous views, because Alice was born only months before Erving’s death, they seem to be testimony more to the power of Nature than Nurture

Google Insider to Project Veritas: YouTube Deliberately Suppresses PragerU, Dave Rubin, Tim Pool

A Google insider who spoke anonymously to Project Veritas claims that Google-owned video platform YouTube is discriminating against creators who do not meet the tech giant’s political criteria.

The insider explained that Google and YouTube use terms like “machine learning fairness” to give a sheen of neutrality to their efforts to suppress content that might contradict progressive narratives.

‘Just Kill Him, Brother’: A Widow’s Harrowing Story Of South African ‘Farm Attacks’ The Media Dismisses

Via Billy

Mariandra Heunis and her children are the survivors of a vicious, dead-of-night attack on her family.

Her husband — her childrens’ father — is not. He was killed in their home outside Pretoria, South Africa, in what has come to be called a “farm attack” — the targeted terrorizing of farmers in a country with a long history of strife over race and land.

Mariandra, her husband, and their three little girls were asleep when the two armed attackers came. She was eight months pregnant with a son Johann Heunis would never meet — Mariandra gave birth just five days after she buried him.

Illegals Lose Major Excuse as Mexican Airline Begins Offering $1 Return Trips

Via Billy

After presumably walking or traveling thousands of miles through Mexico from their home countries in Central America, migrants who change their minds or find themselves separated from their families had no realistic option to get back home.

But that changed on Thursday after Mexican airline Volaris announced a new program that would offer migrants a flight back to their home country of Costa Rica, El Salvador or Guatemala for the low price of one dollar.

Insider Report: Google Is Training Algorithm To Make Sure Trump Loses in 2020

Guerilla journalist group Project Veritas has been on a roll exposing the censorship inside Silicon Valley.

Recently, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe’s team revealed the disturbing inside workings of Facebook, then showed how Pinterest and YouTube were banning pro-life and conservative sites by falsely labeling them as “nudity.”

But Project Veritas isn’t done yet.

Bombshell Gowdy Claim: Trump Wasn’t Given Same Intel Briefings by FBI as Hillary During 2016 Election

 Former Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.

“Have you ever seen the FBI’s internal analysis of whether Christopher Steele was reliable?” he said. “Have you seen the paperwork where he was defrocked as a source because he couldn’t follow FBI rules and regulations? Have you seen the exculpatory information as it relates to George Papadopoulos?

“Here’s one, Maria. Have you seen the disparate defensive debriefings that they gave candidate Clinton versus candidate Trump? And has anyone asked the FBI to explain why they took entirely different tracks with those two debriefings? There’s a lot left to be seen by you and your viewers.”

Statist 'Progress:' UK Court Rules Doctors Must Abort Viable Fetus, Over Mother's and Family's Objections

Statist 'Progress:' UK Court Rules Doctors Must Abort Viable Fetus, Over Mother's and Family's Objections

A horrifying case out of the United Kingdom, where the State controls citizens' healthcare decisions, and consequently, their lives.  Many people watched with disgust as that government actively barred parents from seeking experimental and long-shot overseas medical treatments for their severely ill children, even though the disputed care wouldn't have cost taxpayers any money.  These supposedly "free" people were literally prevented from leaving the country to pursue independent options for their own children.  The power of the State, and the force of its ultimate monopoly on healthcare-related decisions, was deemed to be the paramount consideration.  Now we have a British court ruling that government doctors must abort the unborn child of a developmentally-challenged woman in her 20s, even though the mother, her family, and even the mother's social worker all oppose the abortion (via the Catholic News Agency):

How Many Countries Are Part of the World Communist Movement?

Via Billy

We are often told there are only six “communist” countries left—that is, nations ruled by an openly communist party.

They are China, Cuba, Laos, Nepal, Vietnam, and North Korea. If you define “communist” in the traditional Marxist–Leninist “command economy” way, there is really only one left—North Korea.

However, this approach is deceptive. It totally underestimates world communist power. It misunderstands what modern communism has become.

The real question is this: How do you accurately define the “World Communist Movement”?

How to Solve the Hardest Logic Puzzle Ever

While a doctoral student at Princeton University in 1957, studying under a founder of theoretical computer science, Raymond Smullyan would occasionally visit New York City. On one of these visits, he met a “very charming lady musician” and, on their first date, Smullyan, an incorrigible flirt, proceeded very logically—and sneakily.

A third official told the Examiner that McAleenan “cares more about what liberals and ‘Never Trumpers’ in Congress and the media think of him [than] achieving the express mission of his department.”
Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan leaked the timing and location of upcoming raids by immigration enforcement authorities in order to sabotage the operations, according to five unidentified current and former officials who spoke to The Washington Examiner.

President Donald Trump postponed the raids by two weeks on June 22, writing on Twitter that he did so at the request of the Democratic lawmakers, who asked for extra time to come up with a solution to the border crisis. All five officials told the Examiner that Trump called off the plan due to the leak.

20th Century Gangsters and the Guns They Made Famous

a photo of the guns of 20th century gangsters

Most Americans have gained their knowledge of early-twentieth-century gangsters from TV shows and movies. Those of us who watched The Untouchables on television in the late 50s and early 60s sat enthralled as Special Agent Eliot Ness chased down the Capone mob in one episode after another.

Later, in a 1987 film, Kevin Costner took on the role of Ness and helped to send Robert De Niro’s version of Al Capone to prison.
