An Okie From Muskogee
As someone who grew up during the decade of the 1960’s, I am paying attention when I hear those on the Left talking of the events which took place 50 years ago. I was born in Dallas, Texas, but my family moved to Fairfax County, Virginia, when I was four. I lived in Northern Virginia during that decade. At the beginning of the 1960’s, most all children my age lived in a home where we were raised by both of our biological parents, who were married to each other. At the time my mother died two and a half years ago, my parents had been married for 73 years. She was a full-time wife and mother, as most mothers at the time were. That was her full-time job. Robert L. Dabney properly predicted the decline of today’s society as a result of the woman leaving the home in his essay “Women’s Rights Women.”

This isn’t about sneakers, but about people who want ‘no USA at all’
Via Knuckledraggin' My Life Away
Seen in isolation, the
decision by Nike to scrap their sneaker design featuring the original
flag of the 13 colonies that declared independence from the British
crown in 1776 – reportedly at the urging of ex-football player turned
social justice commissar Colin Kaepernick – seems like a tempest in a
teapot. Seen from another perspective, though, it’s an alarming example
of a trend that threatens to unravel the few remaining threads that keep
America together.
In just a few short years, the woke crusade against “hate” in
the US has gone from demanding the removal of Confederate flags and
monuments to targeting George Washington, the national anthem and now
even the American flag.

The Western World Is Finished: Over and Done With
Via Tedmund
The white world is overrun with immigrants taught by Identity Politics to hate white people and all their works.
Classical music, being a white activity, has been branded racist. There is an effort underway to prove that Beethoven was partly black so we can continue to listen to classical music without being white supremacists.
Vladimir Putin wonders why countries with core white populations decided to destroy themselves with unimpeded immigration of different cultures and races. Why is it racist for governments to consider the interests of their core white populations?
Who was responsible for the destruction of Western civilization? Jews explain that it was them: http://www.renegadetribune.com/hypocritical-jews-push-open-borders-for-us-and-closed-borders-for-israel/

Trump Didn’t Make the Left Crazy, Just Tempted Them into Exposing Themselves
It’s quite a piquant irony that, of all people in America, this task fell to … Donald Trump. It was one thing when Patrick J. Buchanan delivered one of the great speeches in American political history. At the 1992 GOP Convention, he gave establishment GOP types heart failure. He announced what we can clearly see now in retrospect was true in every detail. That the U.S. was entering into a “religious war.” That the left wanted to obliterate orthodox Christianity and American traditions, along with economic freedom and private property. Tame “conservatives” like William Bennett duly denounced Buchanan for being “divisive.”
There’s an old, old saying, “Don’t shoot the messenger.” It goes back many centuries. That’s because it touches something deep in human psychology — our visceral temptation to lash out. To react with instant terror, then violence, to bearers of bad news:
- Doctors who tell us we need to quit smoking or drinking
- Vets who inform us a beloved pet is dying
- Mirrors that reveal how fat we actually are
- Clergy or fellow Christians who admonish us for sin

The Radicalization Of Campus Anti-Semitism In North Carolina
Via Billy
While Duke University’s student newspaper, The Chronicle, characterizes Israel as a “murderous” country with “genocidal policies” and defends Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) anti-Semitic tropes, the Ford Foundation makes the Tar Heel State the focus of intense “social-justice investing.”
Long a hotbed of anti-Israel activism, the left-wing, New York-based philanthropic institution is the fifth-largest in the United States as of 2017, reporting $13.7 billion in assets.
The foundation’s original benefactor, automaker Henry Ford, was a Nazi sympathizer admired enough by Adolph Hitler to be mentioned by name in “Mein Kampf.” Ford distributed anti-Jewish propaganda in the form of a book titled “The International Jew,” and promoted the fraudulent work of anti-Semitic hatred known as “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

Ugly Americans: US Women’s Soccer Embarrasses the Country With Their Petty Displays, Cursing at the President, and Stomping on US Flag

This is great news for the US and women’s soccer.
What is not great news is the embarrassing, petty displays, the cursing their President and their stomping on the US flag.

A History of the Texas Rangers
There are few Americans who have not heard of the Texas Rangers. Since the dawn of television (and before that, on the radio) the media chronicled their exploits in a variety of shows.
Here are some you might remember:
The Lone Ranger: The only survivor of a massacred Ranger patrol, he and his Indian companion Tonto fought lawlessness from 1949 until 1957.
Tales of the Texas Rangers: The series ran from 1955 to 1958, and some of its shows were reenactments of actual Texas Ranger cases.
Laredo: The series aired from 1965 to 1967 and told the story of three Texas Rangers who battled rustlers and bank robbers in the Mexican border town of Laredo.
Walker, Texas Ranger: The show revolved around Sgt. Cordell Walker, a Texas Ranger played by Chuck Norris, who uses his martial arts skills to enforce the law in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The series ran from 1993 to 2001.

Do Blue States Subsidize Red States? Or the Other Way Around?
Via 4Branch
It really depends on how you run the numbers &More
This argument “high tax blue states subsidize low tax red states!” or the other way around, when talking about tax policy. The typical states that authors bring up will be California, Mississippi, and New York. One west cost blue, one east coast blue, and one southern red.
So the first question, is do we treat all “Federal Spending” the same? I like to start this off with a “no.” Since there is not an even distribution of military bases across the states, it makes sense to eliminate military spending from the conversation. For example, Montana has very few military bases, and Texas has quite a few military bases. I don’t want to ignore the economic benefit of the military presence in a state, but I want to put it aside as Federal spending in a state, not Federal spending FOR a state.
