When I lived in the Soviet Union, I heard people say that they didn’t need or want capitalist excesses of choices or resources. The notion that being poor but proud conferred an intellectual superiority is held by a few in America as well. It manifests itself often during discussions of automatic firearms. “Full auto is inaccurate and wasteful of ammunition”, people say. I say: “Stop trying to rationalize the lack of access to modern technology as a benefit of some sort!”

Human Rights StemExpress CEO admits under oath to harvesting ‘intact’ aborted children

The CEO of StemExpress took the stand on Thursday in the preliminary hearing against the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) investigators David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt. According to CMP, she admitted in court that when a fetal brain is harvested, the head may still be attached to the body and that StemExpress does indeed harvest and supply fully intact aborted children. Because using feticide such as Digoxin damages the “specimens,” these children had the potential of being aborted alive.

“That is an especially gruesome admission, but it begs the question: how did they get these fully intact human children?” Peter Breen of the Thomas More Society, which is representing Daleiden at the hearing, told LifeSiteNews. “If you have a fetus with an intact head and an intact body, and intact extremities, that is something that would indicate that child was born alive, and then had their organs cut out of them, or that the child was the victim of an illegal partial-birth abortion.

“Both of these are gruesome and violent acts.”

The influx of whites led to the banding of the landmass into Spanish, French, and English territories, all intermixed with Natives and their variegated ways. The Spanish and French, riven by internal divisions both colonial and domestic, eventually quit North America. The English remained, but if anything the seed of Albion was just as conflicted as the other Europeans and the hundreds of indigenous tribes.

False Idols? Looking at America’s Founders with a Clear Eye

 

Increasingly, America’s past is becoming a lightning rod for contemporary ideological struggles.

Colleges, highways and Democratic Party fundraising dinners are being renamed, monuments destroyed or desecrated, and a general suspicion seems to be growing of the value of anything emanating from America’s first century, soiled as it is with the stains of racism and slavery. This trend is a cause for concern among conservatives who value some elements of America’s past, especially as conservatives are increasingly being linked by their ideological opponents to these less admirable features of America’s history. Conservatives ought, therefore, to respond to such historical controversies with delicacy and tact if they are to separate themselves from the unsavory parts of our history, while still preserving what is good in it.

New York Times’ Kava-Nuts Blame Everyone but Themselves for Fake News Humiliation

 

The New York Times’ Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, the two hoaxstresses behind the latest round of smears against Brett Kavanaugh, are blaming everyone but their lying selves for all the dishonesty in their Saturday report.

weapons. Less-than-lethal weapons unleashed with deadly force. Rubber bullets. Water cannons.

Stun grenades. Arrests of journalists. Crowd control tactics. Intimidation tactics. Brutality.

This is not the language of freedom.

Cheerleaders at a North Carolina high school were placed "on probation" after holding a pro-Trump banner at a football game, The Charlotte Observer reported on Monday.

A photo of the teenagers spread on social media, sparking controversy and prompting the North Carolina High School Athletic Association to put the North Stanly High School squad on probation for the rest of the season, the Observer reported.
