Texas gun control activist shoots her three children dead
A mother in Texas was found dead alongside her three children on Friday in an apparent triple murder-suicide.
Ashley Auzenne, 39, was known to have been battling depression and anxiety in addition to physical ailments such as arthritis and lupus at the time of her death, which was ruled as a suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Her three children, Parrish, 11, Eleanor, 9, and Lincoln, 7, were also killed by gunshots, and their mother is the only suspect. She had just finalized a contentious divorce from their father, Murvin Auzenne Jr.
Ashley Auzenne was a vocal advocate for stricter gun control in the United States, with multiple social media postings calling for an end to gun violence and Facebook profile pictures that bore the hashtags #Enough and #EndGunViolence.

Doug Casey on Trump… and an Impending Civil War?
A couple of weeks ago, I flew out to Aspen, Colorado to catch up with legendary speculator and bestselling author Doug Casey.
It was a fantastic trip. I asked Doug about everything from technology… to the economy… and the resurgence of gold.
Doug also shared his thoughts on President Trump… and more importantly, what could be in store for America.
Like usual, Doug didn’t hold anything back. Today, I want to share our discussion with you…
Read on for this week’s special Conversations With Casey…

Today South Korea is a thriving democracy and one of the United States’ most ardent Asian allies.
South Korea’s breathtaking wealth and productivity stand in stark contrast to the poverty and despair to be found in its neighbor to the North. While modern Americans might presume that South Korea has been free and prosperous ever since the end of the Korean War, such was not always the case. Today’s South Korea has a sordid history indeed.

History of the Mosin Nagant Rifle
On the American market, the 1891 Mosin Nagant has gone from bargain beater to a prized mil surplus possession in the space of a few, perplexingly short years. In some ways, the astronomical prices of Garands, Mausers, and Enfields generated an increased demand for WWII era pieces by younger collectors and the Mosin fell at a great price point.
Another explanation is perhaps the supplies of the most mass-produced bolt action service rifle in history are finally drying up. No matter the explanation, the M1891 Mosin Nagant has proven to be remarkably resilient. Coming from a country that prized itself on keeping things simple, yet dependable for over a century, it’s safe to say they succeeded.

Trump leads in North Carolina by two.Bernie Sanders only beats Trump in one of those states: Michigan, by three points. They are tied in Wisconsin. Trump beats Bernie by four points in both Arizona and North Carolina, by one in Pennsylvania, and two in Florida.

My Darling Wife:
*& Fauquier were my old stompin' grounds.
November 2, 1862
Your last letter received was dated October 16th. Then all was well and
I was lithe and merry. On the 9th I moved to this flank to take charge
of the very delicate operations entrusted to Lee's Brigade in Loudoun
County, since which time we have been fighting all the time and
yesterday and the day before were brilliantly successful against
Pleasanton and Bayard.
Today, attacked by a heavy force of Infantry and Artillery, we have kept them all day advancing three miles and fought from position to position till dark.
It is McClellan's advance and there is no rest for me. Dr Brewer's first dispatch came yesterday and I answered it at once. The second came today, saying my darling Pet's case was doubtful, and urges me in your name to come. I received it on the field of battle. I was at a loss to decide that it was my duty to you and to Flora to remain. I am entrusted with the conduct of affairs and the issue of which will affect you, her, and the mothers and children of our country much more seriously than we can believe. I wonder if Dr. Brewer really thinks with you that I ought to leave my post under existing circumstances.
If my darling daughter's case if hopeless there are ten chances to one that I would get to Lynchburg too late. If she be convalscent why should my presence be necessary? She was sick nine days before I knew it.
My darling, let us trust in the Good God, who has blessed us so much, to spare our child to us, but if it should please Him to take her from us let us bear it with Christian fortitude and resignation. It is said that woman is better at bearing misfortune than man--I hope you will exemplify it. At all events, remember that Flora was not of this world, she belonged to another, and will be better off by far in her heavenly habitation. My staff are well.
Your devoted husband,
J.E.B. Stuart

Commentary: A Great Awakening to the Fight is Upon Us
"....if you can’t answer yes to a basic question, nothing else counts.
Doesn’t matter where you stand on taxes, foreign policy, regulations . .
.” He then shook his head.
“Are you ready to fight?”
“That’s it?”
“Yeah,” he replied with a shrug, “that’s it.”
It was an exhortation that does him no good in the academic world. A distinguished Ivy League scholar and teacher isn’t supposed to talk about the “culture war.” George has strong connections with the established conservative world, too, which balks at the confrontational style. In my year at the James Madison Program at Princeton, which George directs, visitors included George Will, Steve Forbes, and Andrew Napolitano. But the other night was a firm declaration of resistance.
It was fantastic.

Weaponizing Impeachment against Political Opponents
Via Cousin John
The constitutional power to impeach a duly elected president was intended by the Framers of the Constitution as a neutral, non-partisan tool of last resort to be used against only criminal incumbents in extreme cases. Pictured: Scene at the Signing of the Constitution of the United States, oil on canvas, by Howard Chandler Christy, 1940. (Image source: The Indian Reporter/Wikimedia Commons)
To be impeached, a president must commit a crime (misdemeanor is a species of crime) and the commission of that crime must also constitute an abuse of office. An abuse of office without an underlying crime is a political sin, but not an impeachable offense.
This very issue was debated at the Constitutional Convention, where one delegate proposed "maladministration" as the criteria for impeachment and removal of a president. James Madison, the Father of our Constitution, strongly objected on the ground that so vague and open-ended a criterion would have the president serve at the will of Congress and turn us from a Republic with a strong president into a parliamentary democracy in which the chief executive can be removed by a simple vote of no confidence. Instead, the Convention adopted strict prerequisites for impeachment: treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
Congress is not above the law. It is bound by what the Framers accepted and cannot now apply the criterion the framers explicitly rejected.
Most important, misusing the impeachment power in a partisan manner would pose, in the words of Hamilton, "the greatest danger" to our Constitution.

Birth Coach ‘Hounded Out’ Of Job By Trans Activists After Saying Only Women Can Have Babies
A birth coach in the United Kingdom has been harassed and “hounded out” of her job with Doula UK, the U.K.’s national organization for birth coaches, after authoring a Facebook message that stated a basic biological fact: only women can have children.
The Daily Mail reports that Lynsey McCarthy-Calvert was forced to step down as Doula UK’s national spokeswoman and leave the group altogether because she dared to express the “controversial” “opinion.”

First Common Core High School Grads Worst-Prepared For College In 15 Years
Via Billy
For the third time in a row
since Common Core was fully phased in nationwide, U.S. student test
scores on the nation’s broadest and most respected test have dropped, a
reversal of an upward trend between 1990 and 2015. Further, the class of
2019, the first to experience all four high school years under Common
Core, is the worst-prepared for college in 15 years, according to a new
report.
The National Assessment of Educational Progress is a federally mandated test given every other year in reading and mathematics to students in grades four and eight. (Periodically it also tests other subjects and grade levels.) In the latest results, released Wednesday, American students slid yet again on nearly every measure.
“The results are, frankly, devastating,” said U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said in a statement
about the 2019 NAEP results.
This
is the opposite of what we were told would happen with trillions of
taxpayer dollars and an entire generation of children who deserve not to
have been guinea pigs in a failed national experiment.

Call 'Diversity' What It Is: RACISM

Watch the "buzzword" nonsense in this article:
Look, here are the facts: We're bringing in H1b visa holders and destroying the wages of high-skilled Americans at the same time we're flooding the lower-skilled end of the job market with people that have IQs well under the American average, guaranteeing that Americans with lesser abilities will be displaced.
Of course "businesses" are "eager" for the "help." At a low wage.
But let's remember that these third-world ****holes are ****holes in large part because the people who live there refuse to rise up and take responsibility for their own government failures. They're not willing to fight for their own land and their own people. Instead they want someone else to "help" them, when they could choose to help themselves.
To supporters like Mr. Engen, the Congolese are filling a void of cultural diversity in a town that is nearly 90 percent white. In the 1980s, Hmong refugees from Laos settled in Missoula. The children of immigrant families are usually the few students of color in city classrooms, while their parents work long hours at businesses eager for the help.A "void of cultural diversity"? What sort of nonsense is this?

--Blackmansavior has commented on your story "‘Why Don’t We Murder More White People?’":
Whites origins are a secret...heavy metal is mostly about it.....Europeans are subterraneous. They came from hell...the catacombs underneath each European city is where that particular species was before the Ice sheet melted. It's too dark for most whites to want to know and gives black people too much info which illustrates how truly superior we are having developed math science art language agriculture etc well before whitey came from the pit. Blacks are beginning to realize just how sick whites are with their cave tendencies, pedophilia homo acts, deception, not to mention greed and a million other forms of wickedness.
****************************
--4BranchThe great 'diversifiers' have never shared a barracks with 60-70% Black enlisted 'men'. I say 'men' because young Blacks are generally immature, have no self control, are loud and obnoxious, have no morals, and respect nothing. Your property is stolen by those from your own unit. Army, Jail, Schools makes little difference. The same great diversifiers have never tried to get work out of any group of Blacks. Five will do three men's work in twice the time, but only under constant supervision. As you watch TV, notice how many white faces you see in the Infantry - Combat Arms units' notice how many disabled vets you see in commercials are white. Blacks don't go where the shit flies.
Black
males live for instant gratification, they have no interest in art,
culture, civilization, or Christianity, beyond lip service, to 'get
over'.
What you see on TV is a lie; 98% of
Blacks don't own nice homes in the suburbs, much less drive Mercedes
SUV's. 99% of Blacks are NOT Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers,
or
Architects, neither are they executives or managers. Affirmative
Action has 'ordained' some for visual effects. A minuscule few have
actually made it on their own, and God Bless 'em.
The
federal government hires by quota, and generally favors Blacks. Again,
the productive output is diminished. The government is 'bloated'
because of all the deadwood.
To get anything done at all,
they have to hire White, Latino or Asians in sufficient ratio to keep
the wagon moving. I saw what I saw in the Army, I saw what I saw in
Civil Service, I saw what I saw in Construction, I saw what I saw in
Shipyards, I saw what I saw in the Prisons. You cannot 'unsee' what
you've already seen.
Talk to Cops,
Corrections Officers, Teachers, School Maintenance men, Security
officers, bus drivers, NCO's, HR people, Business owners, and ask who
their problem children are. Companies have trouble just getting hirees
to show up! Sometimes I think that's might be a major reason so many
manufacturers have moved offshore.
These guys vote democrat, as many times as they can. They get paid for it.
Now,
it never used to be like this. I know, I'm old enough to remember. I
don't like 'generalizing' any more than you do, but the sorry fact is,
that the number of responsible, mature males in the Black population is
infinitesimal. They are there, and thank God for them, but they are.
literally, the Few Good Men.

During my student days at a UCLA economics department faculty/graduate student coffee hour in the 1960s, I was chatting with Professor Armen Alchian, probably the greatest microeconomic theory economist of the 20th century. I was trying to impress Alchian with my knowledge of statistical type I and type II errors. I explained that unlike my wife, who assumed that everyone was her friend until they prove differently, my assumption was everyone was an enemy until they proved otherwise. The result: My wife's vision maximized the number of her friends but maximized her chances of betrayal. My vision minimized my chances of betrayal at a cost of minimizing the number of my friends.
