Congrats, Dems! You've Empowered A Pack Of Paranoid Neocon Morons

Via Rick Casey

undefined

As my Mother would say, "he has a weak chin" which tells you all you need to know.

Sometimes you need to call a spade a spade, and yesterday's testimony before Adam's Schiff Show by former NSC official Tim Morrison is just such an occasion. In spades!

In his opening statement, this paranoid moron uttered the following lunacy, and it's all you need to know about what is really going on down in the Imperial City.
I continue to believe Ukraine is on the front lines of a strategic competition between the West and Vladimir Putin’s revanchist Russia. Russia is a failing power, but it is still a dangerous one. The United States aids Ukraine and her people so they can fight Russia over there and we don’t have to fight Russia here.
Folks, that just plain whacko. The Trump-hating Dems are so feverishly set on a POTUS kill that they have enlisted a veritable posse of Russophobic, right-wing neocon cretins -- Morrison,  Taylor, Kent, Vindman, among others -- to finish off the Donald.

Trump: ‘I Will Stick Up For The Warriors,’ Not For Bergdahl or Manning

Via Allen G Aycock

On Monday at the White House President Donald Trump explained his pardoning of Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher, who he referred to as a "warrior," and contrasted Gallagher's military infraction with those of deserter Bowe Bergdahl and espionage agent Bradley "Chelsea" Manning, a transgender "woman" who leaked thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks.

US Rep Ilhan Omar accused of being a foreign agent – legal deposition

Via G.W. Long

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was recruited by a foreign government, passed sensitive information that was relayed to Iran, and received funding by a foreign government, according to a sworn deposition by a Canadian businessman in a Florida court.

In explosive testimony made by video link from Toronto, Canada to a Florida District Court on October 23, Kuwaiti-born Alan Bender claims to have deep ties with governments and royal officials across the Middle East including Qatar. In his statement, he says he met Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

The three allegedly claimed credit for the meteoric rise of Omar, saying: “If it wasn't for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends,” according to Bender’s sworn deposition. The deposition was obtained by Al Arabiya English and authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs.

A User’s Guide to the Supervision of Morning

Lake Chapala at sunrise. It never looks the same twice. Though it is late in the season and should be chill, we do not seem to be having winter this year. The golondrinas, swallows, seem confused and have not migrated as early as they usually do. This year they sat in their thousands, three inches apart, on overhead cables and seemed to wonder what to do. Finally they left. Vifoto.

Before light we awake. The dogs, knowing that they are going for a walk, leap and twirl and bounce and make nuisances of themselves. Violeta brews coffee to rekindle the guttering flame of life.

(That’s poetic. Like Milton.) We attach their leashes. They jump into the back of the CRV with enthusiasm. Vi bluetoothes her phone to the car’s sound system, surprisingly good, and we head out to Beethoven or Louisiana blues.

Fred of Fred On Everything and his lovely wife in Ajijic. Expatriate's galore here but I feel just fine walking the streets of Guadalajara and making do with the little Spanish I know and dealing with many who have little or no English.  There are many Spanish who have not married outside their class/race that it is difficult to tell they are not Caucasians and I think most of the time they think that I am from here also. (Though Spanish are considered Caucasian) Very friendly and they are extremely polite in receiving your money and counting carefully when they hand your change back. The weather is more pleasant down here, though only 1 1/2 hours away.  As Fred says it gets almost cold enough that you want heat and almost hot enough to want A/C of which he has none. It's not cheap though, where new car dealers abound and is about 2 1/2 times more expensive than Vietnam.

GOP Rep. Reed: I’m Seeing Democrats ‘Coming Out Potentially Against Impeachment’

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.,” Representative Tom Reed (R-NY) stated that he doesn’t see any Republicans in the House moving towards supporting impeachment, but he does “see Democratic members that are coming out potentially against impeachment in the private conversations I’ve been having.”

Reed said, “I don’t see the movement in any way on the Republican side. The movement I am picking up on is I see Democratic members that are coming out potentially against impeachment in the private conversations I’ve been having. So, I would keep an eye out there.”

Garlic, Honey and Crawfish Farmers Praise Trump After Tariffs Lead to Boost in Demand for US Crops

 A farmer plants garlic.

There is one group of Californians who are happy to praise President Donald Trump — the state’s garlic growers.

The president’s decision to slap tariffs on a wide range of Chinese products, including garlic, has meant that domestic growers are having a heyday because garlic from China has become pricey, the BBC reported.

“It is untrue that there are no winners in a trade war,” Ken Christopher, executive vice president of California-based Christopher Ranch, said.

“When President Trump’s tariffs for garlic kicked in, it was at that point that California garlic truly became competitive,” said Christopher, who oversees the nation’s largest garlic farm.

Jon Voight Bemoans Democratic Party Being 'Overtaken by Marxists' and 'Atheists'

Via Marc Marshall

The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds. I know this process well. I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.

Armalite Rifle History

photo of armalite ar-1 parasniper rifle

ArmaLite weapons are synonymous with AR-pattern rifles, which have been ironically coined as ‘Modern Sporting Rifles’ (MSF). Why the irony? The AR-10 which was the precursor to the MSF, was designed in 1955. To put things in perspective, McDonald’s opened in 1955, as did Disneyland. James Dean infamously died that year at age 24, and ABC aired the first episode of Gunsmoke. The AR is as American as the ’55 Chevy and apple pie. Despite being a true American classic, the AR platform is a dated mid-century creation at best. Let’s dive into Armalite rifle history and its significance to shooting culture.

Vulnerable Democrats Say They’re Being Abandoned Over Impeachment

Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) delivers his closing statement following testimony from former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch before the House Intelligence Committee in the Longworth House Office Building on Capitol Hill November 15, 2019 in Washington, DC. In the second impeachment hearing held by the committee, House Democrats continue to build a case against U.S. President Donald Trumps efforts to link U.S. military aid for Ukraine to the nations investigation of his political rivals. (Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images)

Vulnerable Democrats are telling party leaders that they are concerned the House Intelligence Committee didn’t make its case for impeachment to the American people and that Republicans will have the upper hand on messaging as legislators head home for Thanksgiving.

Politico reports that moderate and “red-state” Democrats are particularly worried, especially with the news that the GOP has purchased more than $8 million in ads to air during the Thanksgiving holiday, targeting potential voters who weren’t convinced by Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) “open and shut” case for impeachment, which aired over the last two weeks.

Fake News Strategy Publish Fake News, Let Headlines Mislead, Then Later Retract The Story After Impact Has Been Made On The Minds Of Americans And Offer Apology For Mistake That Was Intentional

Via Billy

Parnas (center) and Giuliani (right) meet with the chief rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Azman in 2018

What we are learning about American news media is a brazen strategy to intentionally publish contrived reports, knowing readers eyes often don’t go beyond reading the headlines, then let these falsehoods mislead the public as readers and listeners make up their mind on the rights-and-wrongs of the issue at hand, then later retract the story as a back-page apology for a “mistake” that was actually intentional.

For example:
A headline today: “Rep. Devin Nunes met with fired Ukrainian prosecutor to try and get dirt on Joe Biden” (Daily Mail UK).  The source of this information is a Ukrainian named Lev Parnas, who is charged with campaign finance violations.  Rep. Devin Nunes is the minority leader in the House of Representatives.

Rep. Nunes responded by saying this false story had been shopped to five or more different news outlets.  He is reportedly suing The Daily Beat and CNN for initially publishing it.

The Guns of Ruby Ridge: America Teeters at the Precipice

Where are you, my dear friend?

In the summer of 1992, a violent confrontation between Randy Weaver and federal Law Enforcement agencies led to three needless deaths and an 11-day standoff. The repercussions of this horrible event still resonate today.

The very mention of Ruby Ridge still elicits powerful emotions. In 1992 with a Republican in the White House, the full might of the US government was unleashed on an American citizen and his family. I’ll not debate the man’s politics or the righteousness of the investigation. What is indisputable, however, is that a 14-year-old boy, an unarmed mother holding an infant, and a US Marshal died violently in a miserably botched Law Enforcement operation.

Yesterday was the 56 anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Not a story about it in the major media…New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN.com, etc.

Also forgotten was President Trump’s broken promise to release all the confidential files of John F. Kennedy’s assassination by 26 April 2018.

Here is the inside story told to me by then-Texas Gov. John Connally, who was seriously wounded when he took a bullet in the back sitting in front of Kennedy.
