The South Lives Yet

I recently wrote that “our South still exists, and not only in our own hearts; dotted throughout the former Confederacy lie pockets of that Edenic idyll our ancestors fought so bitterly to preserve.” On a spring drive from Columbia, South Carolina to Bentonville, Arkansas through Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, God intervened to show me just such a place.

As I entered Alabama, here and there our beloved flag began to appear, lifting my spirits each time I saw one billowing defiantly in the breeze. Aside from this, I have only seen Dixie fly with such frequency in the rural South Carolina community where my mother grew up and in rural Arkansas.

As Alabama gave way to Mississippi, the storm clouds dissipated and their rains ceased. The sun shined brightly, revealing brilliant Alabama pines looming over the most verdant grass I have ever seen, the hills spotted with lush magenta redbud trees; a more magnificent spring scene I have yet to behold.

*CPC Analyst Glenn Kirschner Suggests Trump Guilty of 2nd-Degree Murder

Chapter Eighteen: The Chinese Communist Party's Global Ambitions ...

NBC News legal analyst Glenn Kirschner is suggesting President Trump is guilty of second-degree murder because he has expressed hope for hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for the coronavirus.

“Trump’s conduct easily satisfies all 3 elements of involuntary manslaughter,” Kirschner wrote on social media in support of Rep. Galonski (D-OH), who claims she will refer the president to the Hague for his expression of hope hydroxychloroquine will successfully treat coronavirus patients.

No Wonder WHO Covered for China; Director Was Prominent Member of ...

Forget tainted toothpaste or lead-based toy paint, China’s most deadly export has quickly become the novel coronavirus, which spread around the globe thanks in part to the World Health Organization’s shameless propping of the country’s lies.

On the surface, it’s mind-boggling.

Why would the WHO back up lies that would clearly come back to bite it in the end, and cause a deadly viral plague to spread throughout the world?

Well, for one, the head of the World Health Organization is a prominent member of a violent revolutionary communist party.

9mm Micro Shootout – Sig P365 vs. Glock 43 vs. S&W Shield

EDITOR’S NOTE: When this article originally published the availability of the SIG P365 and Glock 43 were somewhat limited. Production has since ramped up and with some shopping, all three pistols can be readily found available. However, finding 9mm ammo might be difficult! Comment if you’d like a similar article done but including other pistols. Be sure and name what pistols you’d like to see included. Stay safe.

Everyone at the Shot Show in January had to stop by and see the new Sig P365 Micro-compact pistol; it was the talk of the show. Sig had made the leap into the deep end of the pool to compete with the well-established pillars of the micro market, the Smith & Wesson Shield, and the Glock 43 9mms.  It certainly looked and felt good, and it held more bullets than its rival competitors, but looks are sometimes deceiving.

All three Micro-Compacts proved accurate for their size, these are more than point and shoot guns.

The true test is when you put a product side by side with its competitors and see how they stack up. So after a not so patient wait to get the newly popular P365 it’s time to get down to the range, scales and numbers to see how it does.

The Rugged Life and Gory Death of Wild Bill Hickok

Wild Bill Hickok was the original Old Western gunfighter. Like most professional purveyors of violence, he left his mark but died both young and hard.

The fourth of six children, James Butler Hickok was born in 1837 in Homer, Illinois, to parents William and Polly. William was an abolitionist whose home was a station on the Underground Railroad.

James was endowed with an unusually long nose and pouting lips, earning him the derisive moniker “Duck Bill” Hickok from some of the rough men with whom he eventually associated. James grew a bushy mustache to compensate and began calling himself “Wild Bill” instead. When he was 21 years old he adopted his dead brother’s name, William.

Flash Hider VS Compensator

photo of Flash Hider VS Compensator

Flash hiders and compensators occupy the muzzle end of a firearm barrel. They can appear nearly identical, but the functions they perform are not the same. Despite the shared real estate and similar looks, a compensator’s primary mission is to reduce muzzle rise at each shot, while a flash hider minimizes light emitted at the barrel’s end.

Manufacturers harness a variety of approaches to accomplish both tasks. The mechanics are relatively straightforward, but the forces tamed and captured are anything but simple. Often, you’ll find these options already attached to the end of your barrel when you purchase a gun. Manufacturers use industry standards and performance trends to decide whether to place a flash hider VS compensator on the end of the barrel for resale.

Medical staff shows on February 26, 2020 at the IHU Mediterranee Infection Institute in Marseille, packets of a Nivaquine, tablets containing chloroquine and Plaqueril, tablets containing hydroxychloroquine, drugs that has shown signs of effectiveness against coronavirus. - The Mediterranee infection Institute in Marseille based in La Timone Hospital is at the forefront of the prevention against coronavirus in France.

A Los Angeles doctor praised using hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 during an interview with a local news station on Sunday, claiming that it has a dramatic effect on patients who are seriously ill when combined with zinc.

Dr. Anthony Cardillo, CEO of Mend Urgent Care, made the remarks during an interview with ABC 7 news anchor Jory Rand.

“What we’re finding clinically with our patients is that it really only works in conjunction with zinc. So the hydroxychloroquine opens the zinc channel, zinc goes into the cell, it then blocks the replication of the cellular machinery,” Cardillo said. “So, it has to be used in conjunction with zinc.

Reporters Without Masks Grill Trump About Not Wearing a Mask

Reporters at the White House press briefing on Sunday repeatedly asked President Donald Trump why he chose not to wear a medical mask.

One reporter, who was not wearing a mask, noted the former Vice President Joe Biden said he would start wearing a mask outdoors, and he asked President Trump if he and the White House task force would start wearing masks.

“Are we getting to the point where we might see the members of the coronavirus task force also wear face coverings?” the reporter asked.

Trump said the advisory was voluntary and that he would have no problem with anyone wearing a mask.

Another reporter asked why the first lady recommended that Americans wear masks when they were in public.

“She feels that way,” Trump said.

Unbelievable: A Reporter Asks Trump Why He Hasn’t Closed All Grocery Stores

Via Billy

“There are grocery stores that are open, fast food places. Why even take a little chance? Just shut it all down…temporarily.”
The press sure has changed its tune.

Not long ago, they were accusing the President of xenophobia and racism over his China travel ban.
Now, they’ve head-scratchingly flipped.

Presently, it seems the media’s dogmatically committed to the notion that Trump failed to do enough early on.
