Covid-19 had us all fooled, but now we might have finally found its secret.

Early Results Dampen Outlook for Experimental COVID-19 Treatment ...

In the last 3–5 days, a mountain of anecdotal evidence has come out of NYC, Italy, Spain, etc. about COVID-19 and characteristics of patients who get seriously ill. It’s not only piling up but now leading to a general field-level consensus backed up by a few previously little-known studies that we’ve had it all wrong the whole time. Well, a few had some things eerily correct (cough Trump cough), especially with Hydroxychloroquine with Azithromicin, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

There is no ‘pneumonia’ nor ARDS. At least not the ARDS with established treatment protocols and procedures we’re familiar with. Ventilators are not only the wrong solution, but high pressure intubation can actually wind up causing more damage than without, not to mention complications from tracheal scarring and ulcers given the duration of intubation often required… They may still have a use in the immediate future for patients too far to bring back with this newfound knowledge, but moving forward a new treatment protocol needs to be established so we stop treating patients for the wrong disease.

Marc Thiessen: Democrats’ Filibuster of Relief Bill Cost Millions of Jobs

Conservative Marc Thiessen has published a column arguing that Democrats’ week-long delay of the coronavirus emergency relief bill cost the U.S. economy millions of jobs.

Thiessen, writing in the Washington Post, points out that during the week from March 23 to 27, when Democrats filibustered the relief bill, 6.6 million new jobless claims were filed.

The bill was supposed to pass the Senate on March 23, after bipartisan negotiations that were almost complete by March 22. But Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), jetting in from San Francisco, objected to the deal — and introduced her own bill.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) then obliged Pelosi by filibustering the relief bill in the Senate.

Coronavirus study reveals commonalities among patients who died

Via Billy

 Wuhan, China

Most COVID-19 patients present mild and moderate symptoms, but severe cases lead to death. As the death toll from the coronavirus continues to rise, it’s important that we find the common risk factors for death from the disease. A new study identifies the clinical features of patients who died in Wuhan, China towards the beginning of the outbreak.

A team of researchers from China and the U.S. analyzed the health records of 85 patients who died from COVID-19 between January 9th and February 15th, 2020. All 85 patients were receiving treatment in hospitals before they passed away. The statistical analyses include the medical records, recorded information on their medical histories, exposures to coronavirus, comorbidities, symptoms, laboratory findings, CT scan results and clinical management of these 85 patients.

Trump Offers Boris Coronavirus Drugs Not Available Through British Health Provider

Boris

President Trump is so worried about the health of Prime Minister Boris Johnson — currently in intensive care with Chinese Coronavirus — that he has offered U.S. medical support.

Anyone who considers this to be overreach by Trump — doesn’t the UK have a perfectly good National Health Service already? Isn’t it known domestically as ‘the Envy of the World’? — might consider a letter that appeared over the weekend in the Sunday Telegraph, written by Dr Steven R Hopkins of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

It says:
The chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty, has banned doctors from treating Covid-19 with anything other than paracetamol and in severe cases, oxygen.

Exposing the Fascists

Since this is the blog for Twelve Round Enterprises, I try to address issues of the enterprise, which is focused on film, publishing and in the future broadcasting, but since so much of those efforts are tied into the economic situation, it is hard to address anything else.

The first casualty of a pandemic is critical thinking. Before the people allowed themselves to be sequestered in their homes, why was there not a more thorough investigation into the virus itself? As a valued member of the 12 Round family, an individual alerted us to this video, an open letter to Angela Merkel, one of the worst fascist leaders of the world asking her some of the important questions that should have been addressed by all governors who issued the "stay at home" order.

None of which did. (Above) Here is the video .

Coronavirus politics – Trump leads while opponents stay on attack

image.jpg?ve=1&tl=1
Democrats and their liberal media allies realize President Trump and his administration are doing an amazing job. They’re terrified that the daily briefings will demonstrate his bold leadership to voters.
President Trump acted on this issue and took early steps such as getting the commission working on it and travel banning from China while democrats complained about the ethnic and racial make up of the panel and belittling Vice President Pence while calling the President names for the travel ban.  All democrats cared about was impeaching our President.  The lamestream has made no pretense of objectivity attacking our President non stop since he upset the witch in the 2016 election.  Fortunately in the daily briefing format the people see that first hand and how he deals with their rudeness and contempt for him.

GOP Gov: I Will Not Shut Down My State, Following ‘Herd Mentality’ Not ‘Leadership’

Republican South Dakota governor Kristi Noem has refused to implement a lockdown order for her entire state, despite intense national media pressure.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Noem underscored the importance of federalism and rejected the “one-size-fits-all” approach pushed in the mainstream.

“Our constitution ensures that the citizen’s right is protected,” Noem told reporters Wednesday. “I agree with the role of our government as set forth in our state and in our national constitution. I took an oath to uphold these constitutions.”
