Elon Musk sues California officials, vows to pull Telsa from state ...

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he was “immediately” filing a lawsuit against a California county that is not allowing his company’s headquarters to reopen because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Making the comments Saturday on Twitter, Musk tore into Alameda County’s interim public health officer, Dr. Erica Pan, and also said Tesla will move its operations in California to another state, calling the county’s coronavirus restrictions the “final straw.”

Filling the South’s Decimated Ranks

The Civil War and Reconstruction in Florida : William Watson Davis ...

The enlistment or outright conscription of black troops by Northern commanders was applauded in the North as they were credited to the State which captured and claimed them. Additionally, the black recruits and their families could not vote so Northern politicians feared no election retribution from constituents who avoided military service.

On the other hand, the South considered black agricultural workers essential to the war effort as Southern armies needed the foodstuffs they produced. But as the Northern armies relentlessly grew from infusions of foreigners and black soldiers, however obtained, the South determined to enlist black men who would fight for their homes and freedom.

Little Richard, Founding Father of Rock Who Broke Musical Barriers, Dead at 87

Memories Of James Brown By (Brock Townsend)

Pianist-singer behind “Tutti Frutti,” “Good Golly Miss Molly,” and “Long Tall Sally” set the template that a generation of musicians would follow

Little Richard, a founding father of rock & roll whose fervent shrieks, flamboyant garb, and joyful, gender-bending persona embodied the spirit and sound of that new art form, died Saturday. He was 87. The musician’s son, Danny Jones Penniman, confirmed the pioneer’s death to Rolling Stone. The musician’s lawyer, Bill Sobel, added that the cause of death was bone cancer.

Starting with “Tutti Frutti” in 1956, Little Richard cut a series of unstoppable hits – “Long Tall Sally” and “Rip It Up” that same year, “Lucille” in 1957, and “Good Golly Miss Molly” in 1958 – driven by his simple, pumping piano, gospel-influenced vocal exclamations and sexually charged (often gibberish) lyrics. “I heard Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis, and that was it,” Elton John told Rolling Stone in 1973. “I didn’t ever want to be anything else. I’m more of a Little Richard stylist than a Jerry Lee Lewis, I think. Jerry Lee is a very intricate piano player and very skillful, but Little Richard is more of a pounder.”

Southern Rock for the Apocalypse, Part V

Midnight Rider – Allman Brothers Band

Many younger Americans were introduced to this song when Coors used it in a beer commercial in the early 1990s. Gregg Allman explained it as an autobiographical tune. You can feel the pain and emotion in every note of this impressive vocal performance.

Scott Carpenter: "Art Robinson is the best can-do guy I know."

Dear Friends,

Navy Commander and Astronaut Scott Carpenter was America's second man in space and the public voice of NASA’s Apollo moon program.

When the re-entry system failed on Commander Scott Carpenter’s spacecraft he guided his capsule by hand while looking out of the side window. He brought that thing back out of the sky – by skill and sheer force of will – to an awaiting nation.

When America’s Apollo moon-landing program needed a spokesman, Scott became that spokesman. He is remembered today as the voice of our nation’s greatest achievement.

About his friend Art Robinson, Scott said:
“In my experience with space flight,
I have come to know many men of excellence.
Art Robinson is the best can-do guy I know.”
This is used in an ad for my Dad’s Oregon State Senate campaign and can be watched at https://youtu.be/YVo9UC0OggA or by clicking on the image below. I am sure you will enjoy watching it. It is on the air now – the election is only 10 days away.

Ron Paul: Support Art Robinson for Congress
Scott was a longtime very good personal friend and a strong supporter of our work. He personally campaigned for my Dad when my Dad ran for Congress. One of the highlights of my Dad’s first congressional campaign was when Scott Carpenter traveled the district with us making several stops to give endorsement speeches. Scott drew large crowds everywhere, and we had a wonderful time.

We would, of course, like to air this ad as widely as possible. It will make a big difference in winning this election (and the winner of this primary election will almost certainly win the general election because this district is very conservative and overwhelmingly Republican). Indications are that Art Robinson will probably win, but it could be close and my Dad can do a lot of good if we win. Special interests and lobbyists are doing their best to defeat him. This is not surprising. My Dad is independent and a strong constitutional conservative.

Additional funding would allow us to run this ad more widely, so any contributions would be greatly appreciated. You can contribute here, https://artfororegon.com/donation-form/, or with the donation button below.

Thank you very much!!

It’s been a rough ten days for the deep state.

Still reeling from the public release of documents which prove that the case against Gen. Michael Flynn was a premeditated political persecution, the blows just kept on coming. Rep. Adam (the evidence is in plain sight) Schiff (D-CA) was forced to release 57 transcripts from the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged Russian collusion. In contrast to their inflammatory rhetoric on CNN or MSNBC, not a single former Obama Administration official confirmed they knew of any evidence that President Trump, or any of his associates, had colluded with Russia.

Look, lying on cable TV is one thing, they know, but lying under oath could send them to jail.

Additionally, as many of us have long suspected, we learned that former President Obama had knowledge of everything that was going on.

Jonathan Turley Rips Apart Obama’s ‘Leaked’ Statement About the DOJ and Flynn, and It’s Glorious

 AP featured image
Former President Barack Obama speaks during a rally in Detroit Friday, Oct. 26, 2018. Obama criticized President Donald Trump’s tenure in office Friday in a fiery speech in Milwaukee that took aim at him and other Republicans for “making stuff up.” (AP Photo/Paul Sancya)

As my colleague Streiff reported earlier, a “private call” from former President Barack Obama just happened to be leaked to Michael Isikoff.

Strange, isn’t it, how this leak parallels leaks during the Russia investigation that also went to Isikoff with information seemingly meant to undermine Donald Trump? Almost as if there’s a pattern there that we’re seeing once again.

On the call that obviously was private and not at all staged to be leaked, Obama said he was concerned about the “rule of law is at risk” after what he called the unprecedented move of the Justice Department dismissing the charges against Gen. Michael Flynn.

The Risks - Know Them - Avoid Them

Via Brother Henry

The Covid-19 Spread Risks - Know Them - Avoid Them - Democratic ...

It seems many people are breathing some relief, and I’m not sure why. An epidemic curve has a relatively predictable upslope and once the peak is reached, the back slope is also predictable. Assuming we have just crested in deaths at 70k, that would mean that if we stay locked down, we lose another 70,000 people over the next 6 weeks as we come off that peak. That's what's going to happen with a lockdown.

As states reopen, and we give the virus more fuel, all bets are off. I understand the reasons for reopening the economy, but I've said before, if you don't solve the biology, the economy won't recover.

There are very few states that have demonstrated a sustained decline in numbers of new infections. Indeed, the majority are still increasing and reopening. As a simple example of the USA trend, when you take out the data from New York and just look at the rest of the USA, daily case numbers are increasing. Bottom line: the only reason the total USA new case numbers look flat right now is because the New York City epidemic was so large and now it is being contained.

Frankenstein (7/8) Movie CLIP - The Torch-Wielding Mob (1931) HD ...

Try as we might, these tireless investigations, resulting in long hours of searching/sifting through the labyrinth of texts, emails, memos, phone calls, lost memories of pertinent facts, out right lies, projections, false trails, criminal negligence, dereliction of duties, incompetence, witness tampering, lost files, purposeful misspellings, the complicit illegal malfeasance of the MSM, and all of the associated, ever present, never ending, bureaucratic red tape... Our Naïve hope to speed this thing up, and maybe finally see some results, court hearings, convictions, long term prison sentences... is IMHO speculative at best.

And furthermore, BOTH SIDES Know it. They both utilize these systemic quagmires to maneuver their team into the best possible light for yet another win, and the associated congratulatory celebrations, at their local pubs, and after-hours social gatherings of both teams. They gather together and point their fingers at each other, and laugh at We the People, for they have once again covered the Graft, Fraud and Money laundering schemes that enrich each of them in the Land of Plenty. They RELISH in these Truths, whilst wallowing in the cess pool of their lies. Their faith that these types of crimes are so convoluted, fractured, and intricate, that they cannot ever be untangled, is by-far, their best defense. They BANK on the fact that they can ALWAYS calm the People's Ire, soothe them with HOPE, and yet Another Juicy Morsel. Thereby, avoid having to escape the Mobs of AGED ANGRY Patriots carrying the pitchforks, torches and rope. This will take twenty years, and an unimaginable amount of money, to come to an un-glorious ending at the last investigator's retirement party. This is the stuff that makes careers for these Swamp Rats. In the end, it's just Status Quo. Same Ole, same ole... We are so Screwed!

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident!"

Collapse of Michael Flynn case is latest sign ‘RussiaGate’ was a complete fraud

Collapse of Michael Flynn case is latest sign 'RussiaGate' was a complete fraud

With the Justice Department moving to drop charges against Gen. Mike Flynn, pretty much the entire “RussiaGate” investigation stands exposed as a fraud. But will any of the witch-hunters pay?

Lefties are already claiming that Attorney General William Barr is simply playing politics, but the facts say otherwise. Brandon Van Grack, a top Justice Department prosecutor and former member of special counsel Bob Mueller’s team, was withdrawn from the Flynn case (indeed, many of his cases) earlier Thursday because he’d plainly abused his power by withholding bombshell evidence from the defense and the court.
