Try as we might, these tireless investigations, resulting in long hours
of searching/sifting through the labyrinth of texts, emails, memos,
phone calls, lost memories of pertinent facts, out right lies,
projections, false trails, criminal negligence, dereliction of duties,
incompetence, witness tampering, lost files, purposeful misspellings,
the complicit illegal malfeasance of the MSM, and all of the associated,
ever present, never ending, bureaucratic red tape... Our Naïve hope to
speed this thing up, and maybe finally see some results, court hearings,
convictions, long term prison sentences... is IMHO speculative at best.
And furthermore, BOTH SIDES Know it. They both utilize these
systemic quagmires to maneuver their team into the best possible light
for yet another win, and the associated congratulatory celebrations, at
their local pubs, and after-hours social gatherings of both teams. They
gather together and point their fingers at each other, and laugh at We
the People, for they have once again covered the Graft, Fraud and Money
laundering schemes that enrich each of them in the Land of Plenty. They
RELISH in these Truths, whilst wallowing in the cess pool of their
lies. Their faith that these types of crimes are so convoluted,
fractured, and intricate, that they cannot ever be untangled, is by-far,
their best defense. They BANK on the fact that they can ALWAYS calm
the People's Ire, soothe them with HOPE, and yet Another Juicy Morsel.
Thereby, avoid having to escape the Mobs of AGED ANGRY Patriots carrying
the pitchforks, torches and rope. This will take twenty years, and an
unimaginable amount of money, to come to an un-glorious ending at the
last investigator's retirement party. This is the stuff that makes
careers for these Swamp Rats. In the end, it's just Status Quo. Same
Ole, same ole... We are so Screwed!
