Fight for Freedom: If there is anything systematic in America today, it is systematic communism.

 

The nature of American men has always been to go to war, regardless of the odds to preserve peace at home. They would rain down destruction on anything that represented a threat to their homes, to their loved ones. As a result of that nature, they occasionally went too far, did too much, destroyed what did not have to be destroyed and were repentant to their God and sought to restrain their bloody natures. Again, they went too far, allowed too much and became too peaceful.

But this doesn’t explain the real problem that the progressives have with all of this.

You see, the schedule got mixed up, and it’s causing no end to the hand-wringing among the social planners and elitist chattering class.

Pietas in the Era of Revolution

Pietas, the most Roman of virtues, referred to the duty owed to one’s country, parents, kin, and ancestors.  It is from pietas that patriotism, not nationalism, springs forth.  It is a virtue once esteemed by Americans, for once upon a time Americans were formed by classical learning, and most especially they were formed in their political and literary imaginations by the old Roman Republic. 

This was doubly true for the South.  Well into the twentieth century a student could gain admission into the University of South Carolina by translating selections of works by the ancient Greek and Roman authors.  Education concerned itself not with professional training, but with becoming conversant in the great conversation of western civilization.  Training in the professions followed the completion of one’s education.  Tradition, understood as the handing down of the best that had been thought and said, was deeply embedded in the old classical view of education.  Indeed, the duty to submit to tradition was a grave one.  Such submission was a true act of filial piety toward one’s ancestors whose meticulous labor had preserved and built upon the edifices of the past from which we the living were both ennobled and enriched.  It was once a conservative principle that no one individual or group had a right to judge tradition on their own authority.  A tradition might be adjusted via a slow organic process through time, or some traditional practice might be altered that were in direct conflict with divine revelation or the natural law.  Even then in those cases where tradition was found wanting it might take generations before the conflicts might be resolved.

The Guns Of ‘1917’

 

It was called “the war to end all wars,” and one can easily understand the reasoning. After all, how could any future conflict compare? It was a tragedy that played out on the world’s stage. Costing the lives of 13 million civilians, nine million soldiers, and millions more as a result of genocides and the war-related Spanish flu pandemic.

As we all know, World War I, which lasted from July 1914 to November 1918, was not the final world conflict. Fewer than thirty years later, another world war would begin and would have consequences that far outweighed the original. It seems that humanity would rather repeat it’s mistakes than learn from them. 

Nonetheless, the Great War was one of the deadliest conflicts in all of history. In 2019, Sam Mendes directed a film that provided a glimpse into life in the trenches. It brought to life the horror show of the battlefield and the mixed feelings of the men who struggled to survive.

Titled 1917, the movie follows two British soldiers, Blake and Schofield, who are ordered to navigate across no-man’ s-land carrying a message warning another regiment to call off their attack. What appears to be a German withdrawal is, in fact, a deadly trap. Adding urgency to the assignment: Blake’s older brother is an officer in the battalion. He and 1,600 other men will likely die if Blake cannot stop the attack.

Black Lives Matter and White Guilt: The Subversion of American Culture, History, and Government

In September 2016, I wrote an article on Black Lives Matter and the Muslim Brotherhood that has been getting a large number of recent internet hits. Hence, I can compare the Google articles of this week with those of nearly four years ago. According to the recent Google order and quantity of results, Black Lives Matter (BLM) has moved from an organization closely associated with orchestrated rioting, wanton destruction of private and public property, defamation of law enforcement officers, and Marxist ideology to a principled paragon of civic idealism seeking racial justice and reconciliation especially focusing on preventing police brutality toward blacks. Actually, the only things that have changed are that BLM in now lavishly financed by hundreds of naïve or bullied corporations, millions of utterly deceived idealists, and even more generously by George Soros and his civil rights front organizations. Doubtless, the Muslim Brotherhood still supports them.

However, BLM is now one of the largest and richest organizations in the United States. They also have strong, mutually supportive relationships with the Democrat Party and its candidates. Their posh funding and connections have greatly improved their public relations image, although they are more dangerous and subversive than ever.

 In the six weeks since a multiracial group of Minnesota cops killed George Floyd, America has learned all sorts of things about what caused the crime. It wasn’t just those cops’ fault, you see. It wasn’t just the responsibility of the city of Minneapolis or even the state of Minnesota. As it turns out, every white person in the world is responsible for Floyd’s death. That’s why we now need to tear down any statue of any historical figure who was Caucasian, even the guy who signed the Emancipation Proclamation. That’s why any white person who voices a black character on a cartoon show needs to step aside now. That’s why we need to expunge that episode of The Golden Girls where they wore mud masks and the dumb one said, “We’re not really black.” All of those things are racist. All of those things made those cops kill that guy.

U.K. Court Documents: Steele Told FBI Clinton Knew He Was Compiling the Dirty Dossier

 

U.K. Court documents released on Wednesday reveal that as early as July 5, 2016, the FBI was aware that former MI6 agent Christopher Steele had acknowledged that then-presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton personally knew that he was commissioned to compile the now thoroughly discredited Trump-Russia dossier.

Notes taken by the FBI indicate that Steele was told that Clinton herself was aware that he was commissioned to create the Trump-Russia dossier which alleges collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 election, amongst various other wild allegations.

The New 'Systemic Racism' Against Asians and White Men is Coming+

Yet, what other explanation is there for this week's draconian personnel decision of NBCUniversal chairman Cesar Conde.

According to Conde, the white share of NBC's workforce, now 74% and divided evenly between men and women, will be chopped to 50%.

Joe Biden’s family racks up arrests for drugs, drunk driving — but no jail time

In August 2019, Caroline Biden, 33, a niece of former Vice President Biden, was busted in Lower Merion Township, Penn., for driving under the influence and without a license, public records show.

While the case is active, it’s unlikely Caroline will face much in the way of consequences — if history and Biden family rap sheets are any guide.

Her arrest, which was never made public, was at least the ninth among Joe Biden’s close family, and followed incidents involving his brother Frank, his son Hunter and his daughter Ashley. The cases — ranging from felony theft to drug possession — were all either thrown out, or resulted in light sentences with no jail time, according to a Post review of public records and published reports.
