NC: Results GRNC
Gun Rights Supporters:
As I write this, the cage match for our republic continues. The presidential race is still very much unresolved. It
is entirely possible that we might be looking at “President Joe Biden.”
Regardless of how the national race turns out,
however, I can say one thing with certainty: We in North Carolina did our job, and I am proud of all of
us. Not only did we win the vast majority of critical races, but also defeated billionaire and anti-gun zealot Michael Bloomberg’s
anointed candidates in numerous races.
GRNC threw everything we had at this election, and the results reflect that Herculean
effort. Below are preliminary results, which may change as counts are finalized, as well as what they mean for gun
rights.
Federal
races
At present, incumbent Republican Senator Thom Tillis leads Democrat
challenger Cal Cunningham by 96,717 votes, with approximately 117,000 absentee ballots outstanding, suggesting that Tillis will return to
the Senate and that Republicans will retain narrow control of the US Senate.
Cunningham, of course, has not yet conceded. The
good news is that in a press conference, the NC State Board of Elections
said they had counted all the ballots they had, suggesting that the
117,000
absentee ballots might not have been returned.
U.S.
House races turned out exactly as redistricting predicted. Thanks to
lawsuits
by Eric Holder and others, we lost two Republican seats in forced
redistricting, but comfortably retained all other Republican incumbents.
Better yet,
we elected young conservative Madison Cawthorn in the open 11th District seat previously held by Mark Meadows, defeating
leftist “step on their necks” Moe Davis.
State races
In
a difficult race, Dan Forest
made a good run at Governor Roy Cooper, potentially positioning himself
for 2024. But the bigger news was the Lt. Governor race, where Michael
Bloomberg spent fully $2.5 million to defeat pro-gun Republican Mark Robinson (GRNC ****), the people’s will won over
Bloomberg’s money and Mark Robinson will be Lt. Governor.
Equally encouraging are
judicial results, with NC Supreme Court wins by Paul Newby, Phil Berger and Tamara Barringer suggesting that conservatives may control the
Supreme Court. (Note: as of this writing, Newby’s lead for Chief Justice is only 3,742, so cross your fingers.)
Similarly,
GRNC-PVF recommendations for NC Court of Appeals made a clean sweep, with by Republicans April Wood, Fred Grove, Chris Dillon,
Jeff Carpenter, and Jefferson Griffin.
GRNC ‘Focus Districts’
Also
good news was GRNC’s
success rate in the 34 focus districts into which we dumped hundreds of
thousands of postcards, automated telephone alerts, emails, and Facebook
ads
– we won 27 of the 34 districts in which we were active.
In Congressional races, GRNC-PVF was five for
five; in NC House races, we won 18 of 23 races; and in the NC Senate, we won four of six.
GRNC takes out gun control leftists
Most rewarding
were the seven races into which GRNC’s super-PAC, the Judicial Fairness Project, mailed against hardcore leftists who
had signed the “America’s Goals” pledge to defund police.
Here the
good news is that we won in five of the seven districts targeted, including taking out anti-gun incumbent Reps. Sydney Batch, Ray Russell
and Christy Clark.
But it gets better...
...Rep. Christy Clark, who we
defeated in Mecklenburg County, was an activist for Bloomberg’s “Moms Demand Action” and the main mover behind gun
control in the legislature.
Meanwhile, we successfully defended pro-gun
Reps. Larry Pittman, Jay Adams, Keith Kidwell, Jeffrey McNeely, Jon Hardister, and John Szoka, among others.
We also took out anti-gun Rep. Joe Sam Queen in western NC, electing former Rep. Mike Clampitt, and
installed pro-gun Erin Pare to replace anti-gun leftist Sydney Batch in Wake County.
I don’t know what will happen from here on the national scene. One thing I can tell you is
that we helped hold on to the Senate. The other thing I can say with certainty is that the next four years will continue the
cage match for our republic, our society, and our future.
Whatever the scenario, GRNC will continue to be “on watch” for your rights.

'Ròm' Review: A Sterling Portrait of Saigon's Dark Underbelly, Despite Falling Short of Its Potential
I stepped out of the theater after watching Ròm with a heaviness weighing down my shoulders. It was, however, a refreshing feeling that one rarely experiences after a Vietnamese feature film these days. This review contains major spoilers for Ròm. It’s impossible to discuss Ròm without mentioning the many hurdles the movie production has faced right from the ideation stage until the moment it hit theaters. Ròm started generating moderate internet buzz as early as October last year when it clinched the coveted New Currents award at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the very first time a Vietnamese film was bestowed with the honor.

Vung Tau is a fitting name for the coastal town that invites people to pause and stay a while.
Translating to "anchorage" in English, the word aptly describes one of its main functions for the past few centuries. Before it became a convenient weekend getaway for 21st-century Saigoneers, it was a travel hub during the Champa Empire, home to some scurrilous pirates that Emperor Gia Long snuffed out after they had de-camped there, a trading hub for French and Portuguese merchants, and finally, a popular spot for American soldiers to go during R&R leave.
These photos come from the time when those military members and support staff made a stop in the sunny beach city. By 1967, the Vung Tau community had developed stores and restaurants to cater to the foreign day-trippers, alongside local markets and farms.

Trump Campaign Files Suit in Michigan After Massive Dump of Ballots For Biden Suddenly Appear Overnight
The Trump campaign on Wednesday announced it filed suit in Michigan after a massive dump of ballots for Joe Biden appeared overnight.
“As votes in Michigan continue to be counted, the presidential race in the state remains extremely tight as we always knew it would be.
President Trump’s campaign has not been provided with meaningful access to numerous counting locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, as guaranteed by Michigan law,” Trump’s camp said in a statement.

Outrage Erupts Online Over Fox News’ Decision to Call Arizona For Biden. AZ Governor Responds.
National Journal editor-in-chief Jeff DuFour noted: “This gives some credence to the Trump camp’s argument in a call with reporters that it expects to pull ahead in Arizona, because most of the outstanding vote is in Trump-friendly territory.”
Outrage erupted online late on Tuesday night after Fox News called the presidential race in Arizona for Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, a call that many believed was too early and ultimately led to a response from the state’s governor.
Governor Doug Ducey, without specifically naming the network, responded to the call that Biden had won the state, which had not been reported yet by the other networks.
“It’s far too early to call the election in Arizona,” Ducey wrote. “Election Day votes are not fully reported, and we haven’t even started to count early ballots dropped off at the polls. In AZ, we protected Election Day. Let’s count the votes — all the votes — before making declarations.”

The PLANNEDEMIC gave the left the perfect excuse to impose near universal " mail in voting". A more perfect scheme to commit fraud would be hard to describe. The left is doing EXACTLY what I and many others predicted. They have been and are continuing to manufacture fake votes as needed until they flip a safe from Trump and then proclaim victory. The ONLY way Trump wins is if the Supreme Court steps in and invalidates many of the BLATANTLY bvios fake votes. Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen... it's dry unlikely. I knew the day I heard that voting would be almost exclusively by mail that Trump had no chance to win. The left has worked hard to create a system they fully controlled. They succeeded.
President Trump gets 57.8% of the Fauquier vote: Better Move Back
Fauquier remained solidly Republican in Tuesday’s election, with President Donald Trump getting 57.8 percent of the county vote.
In an unusual election, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, 79.9 percent of Fauquier’s 54,374 registered voters cast ballots.
But most of them voted before Election Day.
Absentee and in-person early votes totaled 28,053 here versus 15,417 ballots cast Tuesday at the county’s 20 polling places.
