But disagree on the l...I agree with the sentiment. But disagree on the law. Abolishing the DoEd does not accomplish the stated purpose. The laws that congress has passed giving itself the power to regulate schools would all still be in effect. They are not directly tied to DoEd.<br /><br />1. Close the DoEd.<br />2. Repeal all the laws that grant powers to DoEd.<br />3. Repeal all regulations issued by DoEd.<br />4. Eliminate all funding of programs to state schools (special needs kids, school lunches, EVERYTHING).
