“Dear David,” the email from Examiner.com HQ began, “We have received postal mail addressed to you within the corporate office. Could you please provide us with a physical address in order for us to forward it to you?”
Well, they do have it, as there’s this little (and how!) matter about compensation and taxes, but I gave it to them again and just received an envelope yesterday containing another envelope (see accompanying sidebar photo). I opened it—sloppily (again, see accompanying sidebar photo) and—Holy crap, one of those lunatic racists sent me something about my friend Stewart Rhodes, founder of Oath Keepers.
It’s pretty vile stuff—I can’t display it on Examiner.com due to some sort of family values standard corporate mandates that we content providers follow, and even linking to it on my Scribd page may be a violation, but here goes: See the letter here, but be warned: It is graphic, obscene, hate-filled and violent.
What a loser. What a loon.
But it’s the last line that caught my eye—or rather my wife’s—I wasn’t going to waste my time reading the whole screed, but she noticed it and called it to my attention:
