WiscoDave: "The Armorer"
Just wanted to update everyone on the III to III Mission of WiscoDave, henceforth known among our Tribe here as "The Armorer". Below are some pics of the plates that arrived today. We received about 16 sets, more than enough to equip every unit member, (and some wives) with protection equal to what many OPFOR use. In the pics you can see the base plate, nice smooth cut and perfect size for any standard plate carrier. I used a little spray cleaner and then some WD40. They look great. I will begin distributing these today. Anti-frag coating will be added later. They will only go to Patriots who will fight for liberty in our AO.
I can not thank WiscoDave enough for this incredibly generous support. Keep in mind this is a Patriot who has never attended one of our FTXs or Musters. I have not met him in person or shaken his hand. (yet) But with this act he has cemented a place with our tribe. We will always have a billet open for him and his family if they ever need it, for ANY reason. If he needs us we will come. He LITERALLY went out of his way, and out on a limb to SAVE the LIVES of Patriots in the coming ruckus.
How many of us can say the same? I am humbled and honored to have crossed digital paths with such a great Man. He will deny it, and try to shift credit somewhere else, but my folks know who arranged this, and who to thank. To any others who assisted in the endeavor, you have our gratitude as well (Doc). I will try to get more pics with some of our folks wearing the plates in the near future. I know many of us have spoken of III to III, WiscoDave proves that some of us can LIVE IT as well.
Thanks again WiscoDave, you are officially the man.

For some reason reminds me of my mother saying, Come back with your shield or upon it.
DeleteDidn't that saying originate with the Spartans? A warrior people's moral code, if you will.
ReplyDeleteIt's rather like the Scot's knife, sgian dubh, if you draw it, you must bloody it.
Miss Violet
Yes, mother was a big admirer of them.
