Walmart Calls for 'Assault Weapons' Ban

Walmart is calling on Congress to consider introducing legislation to ban so-called "assault weapons" nationwide.

"We made our own decision about assault rifles several years ago when we removed that category from our stores, and we believe it's time for Congress to debate that issue as well," Dan Bartlett, executive vice president of corporate affairs for Walmart, said during a press conference covered by Business Insider. "And we will lend our perspective and support as somebody who's been a firearms dealer for more than 20 years."

  2. STFU Wally World. You made your decisions now live with them. I have a very strong suggestion for you.Instead of going all SJW on everyone, why don't you tend to your failing businesses?
Every single person I talk to about your stores tells me the same thing. Out of products, selling bad meat and slowly dropping Brand Name items so the only choices your customers have for many products are Store Brand,
Sorry to rant on your dime Brock but more people need to be made aware of these facts. What I have described there is from people from two different states so it's not just a local issue.
Wally World has got more pressing problems than interfering with my God Given rights to defend myself.

    1. Out of products

I have noticed this in the last few years and what they have is often not fronted. Thanks.

  3. Would Walmart support that ban for everyone? You know how it is said, we don't need "weapons of war" on our streets. OK, so would Walmart support that? You know, according to "the equal protection of the laws"? Why aren't all these inquisitive news reporters asking these questions? --Ron W

  4. Looks like Wal*Mart is willing to lose some customers. Maybe they'll go into another branch of dealing with the public: They employees being "Federalized" and kicking in the doors of 60 million houses to take the 150 million LEGAL semi-autos already out there. Then refurbishing them and selling them to Mexico to be returned to MS-13, Crip, Blood and ANTIFA members as a reward for their criminal activity.
