A) The United States Constitution says what it means and means what it says. The Commerce Clause and General Welfare are not license for Congress to violate a single articulated power described in Article I, Section 8 or elsewhere. No vote shall be cast on any legislation without obvious AND EXPLICITLY-STATED Constitutional Authority.

B) ...shall not be infringed says what it means and means what it says. ALL FEDERAL STATUTES AND REGULATIONS WHICH, WHEN READ ACCORDING TO THE PLAIN MEANING OF THEIR CONTENTS, INFRINGE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ON ANY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY REPEALED.

C) The Fourth Amendment says what it means and means what it says. No more TSA groping to fly. No more Stop & Frisk. No more PATRIOT Act tracking, tapping, snooping. THE PATRIOT ACT, AS AMENDED, SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY REPEALED.

D) The proper place for Entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and FEDERALLYState-sponsored healthcare is in the respective States, and are prohibited to the Federal Government. Every American should receive a refund of all money paid into these programs, immediately.

E) We support legislation to immediately de-fund and disband every extra-Constitutional DEPARTMENT AND agency within the Federal Government WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS LEGISLATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY, THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, THE BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, FIREARMS EXPLOSIVES, AND THE TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION. ALL OTHER FEDERAL DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES SHALL SUBMIT A WRITTEN JUSTIFICATION FOR CONTINUED OPERATIONS TO THE APPROPRIATE HOUSE AND SENATE COMMITTEES WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS LEGISLATION.

F) We support legislation to immediately end every extra-Constitutional policy and program and law currently in effect.

G) We support Impeachment proceedings for Treason against politicians, bureaucrats, AND judges who are found to have violated their oath of office.

H) All US Military bases around the world should be immediately closed WITHIN ONE YEAR, and ALL AMERICAN troops brought home. Any threat that may have once been posed to America from Iraq or Afghanistan has now been eliminated, and Americans should come home immediately.

I) The Navy has the PRIMARY responsibility for Force Projection around the world, and the Air Force AND NAVY will SHALL JOINTLY AND immediately BEGIN TO establish American dominance SUPREMACY in space FROM EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE TO THE FAR SIDE OF THE MOON.

J) Guantanamo Bay should no longer serve as a long-term prison for enemies of the United States. Those held by the American Government shall be TRIED BY A MILITARY TRIBUNAL, AND executed or released to their home country UPON FINAL JUDGMENT OF THAT PROCEEDING.

K) Immediate action based on common sense is required to restore American dominance in the world as an economic power. All imports from countries that are politically hostile to America will end immediately. We do not trade with Communists, Socialists or Tyrants (except oil, see below). Imports from friendly countries must come from factories or fields that are compliant with American environmental and safety standards. These rules will motivate an immediate return to American soil of manufacturing facilities across the business spectrum WITH THE GOAL OF ELIMINATING ALL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE IN GLOBAL MARKETS WITHIN ONE YEAR, A PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED AND DELIVER TO THE PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS A REPORT ON HOW TO ACHIEVE THAT OBJECTIVE WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF FORMATION. L) Energy: Federal restrictions on construction of Nuclear Power Facilities must be immediately removed. Private industry is motivated to build safe power generation facilities and will also be motivated to upgrade our TRANSMISSION infrastructure. WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS LEGISLATION, THE NAVY SHALL COMMENCE CONSTRUCTION ON 100 NUCLEAR GENERATION FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED ON MILITARY AND FORMER MILITARY FACILITIES WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, WITH ALL FACILITIES AND THE COMMENCEMENT OF COMMERCIAL POWER GENERATION TO BE COMPLETED AND COMMENCED WITHIN FOUR YEARS AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS LEGISLATION. TRANSFER OF THOSE GENERATION FACILITIES FROM THE NAVY TO APPROPRIATE PRIVATE COMPANIES SHALL BE EFFECTED WITHIN TWO YEARS OF COMMENCEMENT OF COMMERCIAL GENERATION ACTIVITIES.

M) WITHIN ONE YEAR, A COMPLETE AND PUBLIC AUDIT OF ALL OPERATIONS AND HOLDINGS OF AND BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM SHALL BE COMPLETED, WITH JOINT HEARINGS ON THE ABOLITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM TO BE COMMENCED WITHIN NINETY DAYS OF COMPLETION OF SAID AUDIT.

What Makes TSA Different.

"Unlike ATF and other federal agencies with bad reputation, TSA is an equal-opportunity offender. They pick on the babies and they pick on retirees, they pick on pregnant women and on invalids in wheelchairs. They do so in plain view. They also seem to hire bottom of the barrel personnel, the kind of creatures who need charm lessons from skunks and who need affirmative action to be considered for hire in place of possums.

Their current efforts to offend almost every segment of the American people means they will be the test case. What will the American public do about them? This will be fun to watch with Thanksgiving and Christmas travel seasons coming up. Few people would want to drive across the country in winter to see family, so many will fly and get mistreated. What are the chances of TSA becoming the national bullseye for derision, legal and lobbying action and --- should all those fail -- direct retirement actions by concerned individuals? Nobody likes bullies or child molesters, especially those who abuse official capacity for the purpose."

How To Stop Republican Leader Power Grab

"To all Tea Partiers, 9-12ers, libertarians, C4L’ ers, and patriots everywhere,

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting in the Ronald Reagan Building at the expense of Tea Party Patriots. We heard a call for unity from the dean of Conservatism, former Attorney General Ed Meese, and now of the Heritage Foundation. We also heard from the Hon. Ernest Istook, also of the Heritage Foundation. Tea Party Patriots invited all newly elected congress people. About 30 showed. Some did not give the courtesy of a response and no one from Pennsylvania showed! All those who did show up were impressed and pleased at what we were doing.

The purpose of this letter is to outline what Cong. Istook and the Heritage Foundation recommends and what the entire group of 200 local coordinators unanimously adopted.

Congressman Istook told us how the “game” is played in DC. He showed us how power hungry leaders over the past few decades took power away from rank and file members. It wasn’t always this way. The power grab occurs with both Republican and Democrat leaders. That’s how Pelosi dictatorially disallowed amendments and debate on Obamacare and Cap and Tax.

Istook urged us to change all this. However, it must be done this week!

You see, each party adopts its own rules. Currently, both parties control everything two ways:

1. The speaker gets to appoint a majority of the steering committee which appoints all the chairmen and gets to decide who gets what secretaries and staff, parking spaces, office spaces…you get the picture.

2. All legislation must go to the rules committee. This is where they can pack in earmarks, prohibit amendments and even prohibit debate! The speaker and leadership make all the appointments.

Here is what we and Cong. Istook recommend.

1. Each party's steering committee—not party leaders—should select all committee members and chairpersons. This includes Rules, House Administration, select and joint committees, in addition to standing committees.

2. The members of the steering committee should be elected by the rank and file members. Party leaders should not have a majority of the votes nor indirect control of the votes. Party leaders should not be allowed to run or dominate the steering committee.

3. The speaker and all leadership positions and committee chairpersons should be subject to term limits.

4. There should be a limit on the size of committees, not to exceed 50 members.

We need you to call your newly elected and returning congress people, Republican first and then Democrat. You must do it NOW because they will adopt these rules Wednesday or Thursday.

Yet, reading Orwell's Coming Up for Air, we can spot the beginning of the decline even prior to 1914.

Unfortunately, some parts of the US (Washington DC, Hawaii, New Jersey, Chicago, Puerto Rico and a few others) are scarcely better. At least, in the US we have the option of avoiding such locations in favor of Montana, Tennessee and other places more respectful of personal rights.

I read several London and Kipling stories over the last week. That had the effect of highlighting the improvements and the declines in the various facets of the human condition in the last century. Overall, I'd take 2006 over 1906, but certain developments haven't been to our credit.

My buddy Montieth is keeping some of the British artifacts alive, but his Bren is only a ghost of a machine gun. As we speak, thousands of Stg44s, PPSH41s and other historic artifacts are being scrapped by the US Army in Iraq. We look down on book-burners and iconoclasts of the past centuries, but the irrational fetishism and the fear of the inanimate symbols is alive and well with many people and the proxy governments they vote in."
